Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Whitby

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

We loved our stay at Photographer's House! Ashley was quick to let us know we could get in early and was on hand if we needed anything! He even messaged to arrange postage of some earrings that we'd left (when they were found during the clean). The house was great as was the area. Lots of different options for trips out not too far away too. Kids and adults loved it and are keen to return! Thanks for everything! We also learnt a lot about dolphins via the Dilo stories!

Lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated and the house is spotless and comfortable. David is super lovely and really happy to help. Staithes is a very small and quiet place with some beautiful walks along the coast, my dog loved it. Phone reception is non existent in the village so make sure you know the location prior to arriving. There is wifi in the air b&b. Really enjoyed just relaxing and the log burner plus monopoly was such a wholesome vibe.

Excellent place to stay, really lovely comfortable cottage and all the facilities you need. Close to local bus stops , Cleveland way coastal path and coast to coast path plus lots of walks inland and lovely food in the village pub 5mins walk . Highly recommend to anybody looking at this property.

A perfect spot for a family gathering ! Easy to find and just a short walk into the centre of town. We loved the space, immaculate well presented rooms, cosy warm around the Aga and comfortable shared spaces. Plenty of parking and great for our dog, and a communicative and helpful host. Couldn’t fault it, would definitely recommend!

Any less than 5* or a-maz-ing would be doing Jane and Crabapple Cottage a disservice. The neighbours were fabulous too. We had everything we could possibly want in the cottage and looong garden, and more, including the trampoline 😄 Jane was super responsive to questions I raised even when she was out with a friend and immediately set to finding a solution to our mini problem. Settees and bed were very comfortable and our dog was immediately relaxed in the property which was also really important to us. So many places to visit nearby and lots to do, we could have spent way more time there.

Remotely located, charming, old-fashioned stone cottage that is warm and has all of the essentials that you’d need. We were greeted by the lovely Trish who showed us round and explained everything. There was a gift-basket with goodies and a freshly baked cake waiting for us. We would warmly recommend this place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burnside Cottage. The cottage is very clean, well equipped and very homely. Appreciated the welcome basket including fresh milk, bread & biscuits. Cottage is ideally located for Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Goathland and many other places in the North York Moor area. Local shops, include a baker’s, butcher & Spar. Would certainly recommend Burnside Cottage.

We had the beer weekend at Charlotte Cottage with our cockapoo! So much space for him to run around. Close enough to Malton we could go for dinner and everywhere is dog friendly! You could have easily stayed in, ordered in or made food and used the numerous facilities at Langton hall. We will be back!

Ivy cottage was the perfect place to stay for our trip to filey. It felt so homely from the second we arrived and communication with Andree was great making it even easier to feel right at home. She instantly help with any issues we had and was incredibly approachable. A lovely host and a lovely cottage - we would love to stay again!

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing weekend at Rachael's caravan, this was our second visit and we 100% plan on coming again. Rachael is a wonderful host who is easy to contact and she takes pride in her beautiful caravan. The caravan was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely, as the weather was warm we spent most of our time outside on the decking which had plenty of seating space and the hot tub was a great added extra enjoyed mostly by the kids. There was plenty to do onsite including the swimming pool, a private dog park where you can let your doggos off lead and play. The staff at the main reception were friendly and helpful and the bar area was clean with lots food and drink options. We would highly recommend coming to stay at Serendipity and we will be visiting again.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Lovely lodge with amazing view over the lake and lots of ducks,birds and swans! Amazingly clean especially given the sandy roads around the park. Tom was easily contacted and helpful. Lovely safe place for my little one and dogs. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing place!

Everything was perfect! The cottage is cosy and had all the amenities needed. It was clean and just a 30min walk in to Whitby. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Idyllic, just what we needed, quiet, private setting, weather a bit ..... but that's to be expected that far north. Private field for our dog to explore, outside space to relax. Host very good too, popped in to say hello and check all was ok then left us to it but was on site so if we did need anything. would recommend and if we head north again would defo stay again.

Lovely little place. Cute and cozy. It's nicely decorated. The host left us a welcome basket which was lovely, and even left our dogs some bits. Everything you need is close like shops, cafes, pubs, takeaways. The location was fab for us. We went to Whitby first and travelled to Middlesbrough & Saltburn on sea over the weekend. All 30 minutes or less away. Thank you. We had a lovely stay.

Perfect location for all amenities and popular sites you would want to visit in Whitby. Although very central it is also very quiet and you have the added bonus of a free parking space right outside the accommodation. A paramount extra as parking in Whitby can be a nightmare. Very spacious property, spotlessly clean and all appliances functioned as they should do. We would definitely stay at John's again when we visit Whitby. A brilliant bank holiday was had. Beautifully quiet, very scenic, tranquil and relaxing place to stay. Very clean modern apartment with all the essentials. Great location for travelling to Whitby, Ravenscar, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay. We would highly recommend The Falcon for great food and it’s dog friendly. Thank you Sammy for a lovely stay, we hope to return in the future.

Fab stay at sinnington! Great location. The cottage lovely and quaint and had a comfy bed, what more could you ask for. Also found Sara’s guide helpful as we visited Helmsley gardens and a few other places which was lovely. Would recommend! Didn’t get chance to try out the local pub but we did venture to the blacksmith arms in Lastingham which was 10/10 on all accounts. Thanks for having us!

Me and my husband stayed for a weekend with our labrador Chester for our anniversary and babymoon. The stay was super dog friendly with a private back yard down some stairs so you can let your 4 legged friends out for toilet breaks easily, the sofas were prepped with blankets and the hosts even provided a dog bed and bowls for us to use. The hot tub accessed through the private garden space was such an amazing experience, inside the silo the swallow were nesting and flying around above us. Such a magical little find ✨️ We can't thank Rachael and Mark for hosting us, we loved every second and can't wait to visit again. We've stayed in a few air b'n'bs now and this had everything you could need, we only had to bring ourselves, food and clothes/essentials. It really was a home from home and you could quite easily spend a whole week here, no problem. We wish we could have!! I also loved the fact you could buy the artwork placed around the barn too. Griff Cottage is beautiful and finished to a very high standard, Paul and Cath have thought of everything to make your stay .The welcome gifts of wine,milk and cakes was a lovely surprise to the start of our holiday & helpful instructions suggestions to local attractions,restaurants,pubs.We would highly recommend .It is located in a beautiful setting close to the beach and soooper dog friendly with wonderful coastal walks .

It was a beautiful well thought out space. It was a pleasure staying there and seeing the cliffs above us. We loved the place. The artwork was brilliant, the sofa was really cosy and comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. Thank you
