Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay at Seaspray. Richard sent very helpful instructions before we arrived, not only detailing the check in and how to find the property, but everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The home was beautiful and we were always warm. The weather turned up for us so we were able to make use of the great location for walls and the sea. You are very close to Filey and with Scarborough and Bridlington only slightly further, so we fit in all 3. We will be coming back. Wonderful state would definitely recommend

Andrée was so warm, friendly and accommodating. The house is absolutely stunning, spacious, clean, well maintained and is SO well equipped. The house had absolutely everything a family might need at the beach, including chairs, beach toys, an array of outdoor games, parasols, beach mats…the list goes on! An amazing selection of board games in the house too. The location is incredible too. My children adored the house and we can’t wait to come back again soon.

Stayed as a family of 4. Absolutely loved the place. The caravan had such a homey feel it had loads of character. Loads of nice little touches like salt n pepper and sauces, tea sugar, good drinks glasses, smart tv with wifi, good cleaning stuff to use like washing up powder sprays etc.. Sometimes when you stay in a caravan you literally have nothing that wasn’t the case here the little things makes a difference. Beds were comfy it was just a really nice little cosy place. Location on the site literally couldn’t be any better was absolutely perfect 2 mins from the main hub it was ideal with two young kids not having to walk far. Host was really friendly and responsive throughout the stay and before the stay also when I asked any questions. Caravan site itself was well kept and clean with really good facilities and the kids loved it. Would definitely stay here again thank you

Myself, 9 others and 1 small dog booked on of Sue's fantastic cottages for a reunion weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with, gave us the guidebook ahead of time virtually for any queries (we were very interested in the pizza oven and games room) Facilties were excellent, we were lucky that no other cottages on the site (only 3 others) were in use during our stay, so had free roam of the site and facilties. The local recommendations were brilliant. We went to the old black bull down the road for dinner on the first night and then again for roast dinner on Sunday - mega The house itself is just as shown in the photos, more than comfortable to sleep and house 10 of us for the weekend. Special mention to the hottub, (which is private for your house and I believe comes with all houses) and to Paul who was more than helpful coming to our rescue and reviving out pizza night when we experienced some issues with the oven. 10/10 would go again.

Everything was perfect! The cottage is cosy and had all the amenities needed. It was clean and just a 30min walk in to Whitby. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Easy and stress free booking and check in. Lovely house with stunning sea views from the main living room. Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues due to steep winding stairs, particularly to the 2nd floor where two of the bedrooms located. Also lots of steps to access beach/promenade. Otherwise we had a lively break away and would definitely book again when visiting Filey

A stunning, impeccably clean property with beautiful finishing touches. The house was spacious and ideal for families or groups, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy. Located in a fantastic spot, it was within walking distance of all of York’s main attractions, which made it incredibly convenient—we could pop back throughout the day whenever needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed our stay, location was great for Whitby and surrounding areas moors. Did the walk into central Whitby which took around 20 mins with the kids, also used the park and ride which is close by. House was clean and plenty of space for our family of 5. Lisa was responsive and recommended a great walk. It was our first time to this coastline and I’m sure will be back!

We had a great time at the bungalow, it was really easy to get to & ideal location. It had everything we could have needed for a short but sweet stay & Michael’s communication was brilliant. Would stay again & recommend!

We had a lovely short break. The cottage is located perfectly for visits to the coast and local towns and villages. The courtyard garden was secure for the dog and lovely to sit in the sunshine. The cottage had everything we needed and Adrian was really helpful. Thank you for having us.

Where to begin?! We initially wanted to book Dovedale House for the whole family but after contacting Fran, she explained that one of the beds would be too small for 2 adults.. fear not! Fran contacted the B&B next door and got my in-laws booked in there, problem solved! The house was absolutely immaculate and pristine. It really was a home from home! There really isn’t anything more I can say, it was just PERFECT! We really enjoyed sitting on the swing in the mornings with a cuppa and watching the cows and deer in the field opposite. Dovedale House really is a gem and I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Huge thankyou to Fran for everything you did to make this trip happen for us. The Aitkens, Scotts and Forresters xx

We had a wonderful week at David and Philip's place, with our one and three-year-old children. The cottage was idyllic and the garden at the front of the property felt like stepping into our own little world. Our eldest was sure he saw fairies amongst the flowers and both kids loved playing in the safe, enclosed space. We had also asked for use of the BBQ which was ready and waiting for us and made for a lovely afternoon enjoying the space and relaxing. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs and the moveable stair-gate (top or bottom of the stairs) was a huge help for keeping our risk-oblivious explorers safe. There was lots of space for them to play in a cosy setting which felt like a home very quickly. The use of the cot and high-chair (arranged in advance) was also a huge help. The location was perfect, with plenty of indoor and outdoor places to visit (castles, beaches, gardens, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, Forests) all a short drive away. Would absolutely stay again!

Title Beautifully renovated semi detached stable conversion with lovely views. This semi detached converted stable has been beautiful designed and executed. It's a two double room ensuite property with the open plan lounge kitchen diner on first floor.. the bedrooms are on the ground floor with double doors onto the patio area and gravel vehicle turning circle. Beyond this there is a fantastic view to the sea and Scarborough castle. It's possible to also rent the smaller attached one bed unit next door.... The design and decor of the property were exemplary and the kitchen had pretty much everything you need with no extras or clutter throughout the property. The beds are very comfortable and with premium bedding. There is plenty of space for clothes and two seperate ensuites plus a third bathroom. Overall experience was excellent with beautiful views and communication with hosts was top notch. it was a lovely stay and very relaxing with two fantastic walks... will return

Absolutely beautiful cottage. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Beautifully clean, amazingly well stocked, and wonderful host who always replied quickly and provided helpful, thoughtful directions before our arrival and great recommendations in the guidebook for during our stay. I have already recommended Rob's place to family and friends. Cannot believe how thoughtful the bread, milk, eggs, and butter were upon arrival. Can't recommend this place enough! A beautifully renovated property right in the heart of Whitby beautifully presented and absolutely spotless spacious dining room and kitchen which has everything you need. All the bedrooms have really comfortable beds with either a bath or a shower, lovely toiletries in the bedroom and shower room rooms welcome pack on arrival with wine, biscuits, cake and milk, which was also a lovely touch. There was a query around the parking permit which Lea dealt with very quickly we all fell in love with the house would we stay again … Absolutely 💯 xx

If you are looking for a place to stay whilst visiting the area then we can’t recommend The Stable enough. Liz and Nick’s beautiful home is situated in such a stunning rural area it makes travelling to and from it a delightful experience and a valuable part of your holiday on its own. Beautifully restored and tastefully decorated, The Stable was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need whilst away from your own home including a seriously comfy bed! Lovely personal touches like Liz’s homemade cookies, a welcome hamper and milk from the local dairy are all ready and waiting for you and just add to what’s already going to be a perfect stay. And if all that wasn’t enough, the grounds and surrounding areas are just breath taking and waiting to be explored. When you feel that sadness creep over you when packing your belongings to go home, you know you’ve been in a very special place…..it really did make us smile. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us.

Immaculate place and as described. Less than 10 min walk into the centre of Whitby. Very quiet in the evenings. Never had any issues finding parking spot near the house. Great location for Whitby or the Moors. Highly recommend.
