We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The owners are friendly, enthusiastic and sociable. That immediately gave us a good feeling. The apartment was neat and clean and larger than we had expected. They have thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Think of kitchen items, coffee and also a number of herbs for cooking. For children it is also well arranged, sockets were secured, cot and even a box with different types of toys for children is present. It is a beautiful quiet environment, we had wonderfully warm weather and could also enjoy the roof terrace. There is very little to do in the village itself. But fortunately, there is a village with several restaurants 8 minutes away by car. We were on our way to our wedding and stayed here for 3 nights as a stopover. If we were to travel to Italy again, we would definitely come back!

I stayed with Fredi and Vreni and enjoyed my stay! The place is clean, it has everything you need, walking distance to the bus stop, local supermarket and restaurant. The bed was comfortable, which is very important to all travellers. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. I wouldn’t be able to travel without their help with tickets and trains. Switzerland also has very high standards of rubbish classification, which was explained by Fredi and Vreni. In the apartment you will find leaflets with excursions and trips, and a lot of tips what to see and where to go from hosts. Highly recommended!

Listing is exactly as posted. Very nice accommodation & there were shutters that kept the bedrooms cool during the hot summer compared to other places I’ve stayed. Location is very close to bus and train stations. Airport only 10m walk & 5m train away OR 5m walk and 15m bus ride. Grocery store was close. Place was clean and kitchen was nice. TVs and fans in both bedrooms was great! Host is very helpful and responsive & I would stay here again if I was in the area 🙂 The only thing to note for me was that there is no “living room” area - however this made no impact on our stay.

It was all wonderful. The apartment smelled fresh and was clean. The hostess was very friendly and a self check-in and check-out via key compartment were possible. Have already recommended the accommodation to acquaintances. Happy to come back! Thank you.

We (1 adult & 2 children) stayed for three nights in Heike's super nice apartment. Heike is a great and lovely host and always available. We felt right at home We didn't miss anything and the second toilet was definitely great to avoid the morning traffic jam in the bathroom. We will certainly be back. Thank you for everything

We had an excellent stay though the check-in was a little difficult. We didn't know that the mailbox was not in the name of Michael but in the name of Van Gelder. That made our checkin little difficult. And over and above nobody picked up the call to answer our query. That was the only difficult part. Otherwise the location is perfect, just behind the Schlerian Kesslerplatz tram station. And just 15-20 minutes from Zurich HB. So all in all a wonderful stay..!!! Highly recommended. Two requests to Michael, 1) please be aware and available on phone for the guests especially during the checkin hours. There could be difficulty for any reasons and not available at that point of time on phone makes it very inconvenient. 2) In your final email, wherein you share the smart keybox code, please add & mention that the guest should search for Van Gelder's mailbox.

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The area is so peaceful with just the birds singing. The accommodation was amazingly clean with everything I needed for base being a solo traveller. The private patio area and lawned garden all on a level was lovely to sit out on. The bus stop is just a short walk with regular buses to the train station so you can get to Zurich within 20 minutes. The hosts were helpful, friendly and hospitable. As the weather was hot, I was given a fan which was a great bonus to have on at night. The electric blackout blinds were also fantastic in aiding a good nights sleep. Thank you for hosting me.

We loved our stay in this apartment. Perfect size for two! Cozy and quiet. eady drice to Zurich, Lucerne, and surrounding beauty. We would stay here in the future.

The host had a wonderful, eclectic, modern apt street level. The private green patio space was an added bonus. It felt like home and very private with the hidden patio from the road. We felt very safe. Beat was fantastic to meet us at the apt., show us how to use the lighting, kitchen, etc. He gave us pictures with specific directions to get there from the train and messaged me with suggestions on restaurants, areas and train stops in Zürich. The bedding, kitchen and bathroom was top notch. We loved having a washer and dryer that was not a mini to wash clothes before flying out. We will stay again if we fly into Zurich on our travels.

Very clean, modern and well-equipped apartment. Everything was as described. The host is always easily accessible, friendly and uncomplicated. I'd love to come back and can only recommend it.

Nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute delight to stay at Steffi’s place for our 2nd year anniversary celebration and we were greeted by not just a friendly and cheerful host personally at the door but probably the most stunning view of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Steffi herself to the time to meet us, give us some very nice tips which added that much more to our experience of the area. The apartment was clean and everything was catered to so you had the feeling you were pampered all the time. Even though there is a bus connection, we were fortunate to be able to get there by car which made the place very accessible to us and helped us visit Bern and other cities quite easily. Although, a great hike is only a stone’s throw away with some wonderful trails already starting as you step out the door. We would give Steffi more than 5 stars if we could and would be more than happy to recommend her place! :)

Martin’s Airbnb was excellent. Very peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The apartment was clean and homey. Would definitely recommend.

We had a nice time at this clean, conveniently located Airbnb. Located walking distance to a nice supermarket, pharmacy and the tram station. About a 10-15 minute tram ride to the main train terminal -Zurich HB.

Beautifully furnished, bright apartment with a lot of attention to detail: a multi-colored door knob on the wardrobe, the picture frames with objets trouvés or the refrigerator poetry that invites you to write. The view of the green pasture and especially the cows grazing there automatically leads the viewer to a soothing deceleration. Taller people need some time to get used to the sloping roof beams in the kitchen and bedroom. The landlords add additional accents with colored (self-painted?) pictures. The yellow lemon pictures in the kitchen make it appear active and fresh. The spacious bedroom is a bit more subdued in color. The nice landlords Anja and Christian have managed to create a special place. You can feel the love and devotion with which they want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We can recommend the apartment.

Everything is very high quality and modern - we were just amazed. The amenities are so complete, like at home. Nothing is missing. It goes far beyond the normal level for vacation rentals. If you need something (raclette, sled), just ask the landlord. Very helpful. The view from the apartment is excellent, sunrise behind the mountains... An exceptional luxury apartment in a great location in the Black Forest, a few minutes' drive to Switzerland.

We can highly recommend this accommodation; we especially enjoyed the quiet location and the nature. The apartment is very spacious and lovingly furnished. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and from the balcony, where we ate every day, you have a great view.

If someone wants to go on vacation in this area, they can't get past Daniela and Carlo! Just loving and charming hosts. The accommodation is as good as new. Everything is very, very clean. The area is a dream come true. Whether walking or hiking, no problem! Gastronomic, good home-style cuisine, just a few meters away from the accommodation. We will definitely be back. Peter was very responsive. We love the view! Small touches made our stay special - complimentary coke, washing machine pods, dishwashing soap and the guidebook was very helpful too.

We felt comfortable from the first minute with a welcoming host and an apartment with a really well thought out level of equipment - everything you need without clutter. Its in a very quiet and green area while still being very well linked with public transport to Lenzburg and Aarau. The bus stop and train station are both walkable and there are two small supermarket in walking distance that have all the necessities and more.
