We had an amazing time at Alison’s beautiful cottage. It felt so cozy and welcoming, with everything as described. We loved the private setting with no one around us. It was the perfect week to enjoy the waters, kayaking and floating around in the lake. Definite bonus that the cottage is pet friendly as we always love to include our fur babies when travelling. The place was super clean and comfortable. Alison was amazing in her communications and replied right away to any questions or inquiries. She even brought over a hose for us when we asked. Thank you so much for having us and we look forward to coming back to Closs Crossing next year! Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay! Clean, well organized and close to all the attractions we were interested in. We used both the hot tub and the fire pit, nice features to have after a day out exploring. Will definitely recommend

Great place to stay! Very peaceful, felt very remote and isolated but was only 10 mins from town.

We had such a great stay at this place! Super calm, peaceful, and surrounded by trees with an awesome view of the lake. Mornings were especially lovely, with the harmony of birdsong adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The sauna and hot tub were a big bonus and really added to the relaxation vibe. It’s in a beautiful green area, away from the noise of city life, but still just about 20 minutes from stores and local spots. We also loved the little extras like kayak, projector, and all the games and board games definitely made our family time even more fun. The team was super responsive and helpful, answering all our questions quickly. My family and I really enjoyed our time here, thank you for everything Breathe Vacation Rentals!

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

We loved our stay at this charming, clean home right on the lake. The amenities were well thought out and the views were incredible. We felt right at home. Everything felt very clean - from the inside to the hot tub! Our only suggestion would be adding a railing or paved path leading from the parking area to the Airbnb itself as this was quite steep and felt a little slippery after the rain. Charlotte was responsive and kind, and we would love to stay here again sometime! 10/10 experience.

Stunning area, amazing location, and fantastic amenities. Very well thought out layout. Going from the hot tub to the sauna was so good after a long day of 4wheeling. Every question is answered in the guest book. When we didnhave a question Meghan took care of if asap. Thankyou Meghan and the owners for such a beautiful spot. Ben and the 4 wheeling gang.

Rachel's place suited us perfectly! We were visiting some family who were camping at Charleston Lake Provincial Park, which was only four minutes away. The cabin was super quiet and the main living area was spacious and welcoming. We would come back here.

Great host, great chalet, great time. Good vibes and views. Kitchen is well equiped. Home feels meant to be lived in, not a cookie cutter air bnb providing the bare minimum. Theres a clear attention to detail. As a boardgamer, I saw this most of all in their inspired game selection that fit nicely with the aesthetic. I was surprised when they already had 3 games that i brought and a few more that i left at home. Just be prepared for black flies and misquitos in May if youre coming with a dog.

We stayed at the Phoenix house, took a long meander through the woods, borrowed the canoe for a paddle, decompressed in the sauna then relaxed on the sun-bed heated gently by the wood stove. All in all Rena and Co made us feel right at home and welcome to explore.

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

Overall amazing stay. Raene and Alex were great, always responded quickly, provided detailed information on how to use the various utilities in the home (propane stove, wood stove, etc.), and gave good info on trails to explore on their property. The cabin itself is beautiful. Great craftsmanship, and allows you to be in the bush while still having the convenience of a regular home (washroom, wifi, tv, etc.). The land encapsulates the Ontarian bush well. It was enjoyable to explore, with a beautiful waterfall nearby, and the Bonnechere caves a short drive away. Their horses are also beautiful and super friendly. Would recommend anyone stay here, whether you’re a local or not, theres something for everyone. Also, the maple syrup was delicious!

Chris was an excellent host and his property was fantastic. The cabin was spotless, well appointed, and modern. It’s clear that Chris values providing a comfortable stay for his guests, as no detail was left overlooked! The amenities were plentiful and very much enjoyed. Thank you Chris!

We enjoyed the cabin over a family weekend. It was cosy and thoughtfully designed. We liked walking the trails on the property and watching the bird feeder. Christine went out of her way to help us make the most of our visit, even during a very rainy first day.

This place was perfect for a weekend Getaway. The cottage was beautiful.The house had all the basic things we need.We Enjoyed having meals with great view of the lake. The Host Monica was very helpful, she helped us make best use of the place with recommended spots to stargaze, extra time to canoe and fish , and also extra time given for checkout. we made good use of the deck and our private dock. The rooms were compact and big enough to sleep with our big group. The campground on its own was perfect for a relaxing time.We wish we could have stayed much longer. Thank you to the hosts for a memorable time.

I booked on behalf of my husband and father in law who were hoping to get away for a dishing weekend. They had no complaints. It was the perfect location for fishing, and the cottage was exactly what they were looking for. The hosts were very clear with instructions and easy to reach should any issues arise. We would definitely book again 😃

Our stay at the Northwoods Cottage was simply perfect. Rachel and Tim were so generous, ensuring the trail to their fire pit was shovelled and gravelled so we could enjoy it with our guests. They clearly showed care in ensuring we had a great time, and all our needs would be met. The cottage its self is immaculate. The beds are comfortable, the view is amazing, the modern feel with touches of french farmhouse would make anyone feel cozy! They also had amazing recommendations for our nearby needs. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future. I can't say enough good things about Rachel, Tim and our stay. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a beautiful, serene time!

We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Tom and Jeanne’s calm and friendly demeanor made us feel completely at home. Their property is a dream to explore—we would have moved right in if we could! The Airbnb is beautifully built; Tom is truly a master craftsman. The cabin is filled with stunning rustic décor, and you can’t help but dive into the documents they’ve left behind, which bring the place to life with its rich and beautiful history. Our family enjoyed a truly exceptional stay, exceeding all expectations. The experience was not only a relaxing getaway but also provided valuable educational opportunities for the children.
