Cabin holiday rentals in Leeds and Grenville United Counties

My family had the pleasure of staying here for the first week in June 2025. We had a fabulous week enjoying this fabulous cottage and its surroundings. The inside offered us all the comfort and things we needed, including an awesome hot tub "tub" complete with rolled towels, clothes pegs and plastic glasses! Everything was exceptionally clean and there were lots of great books and games to keep us entertained as we lazed around the beautiful property. The kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun as we explored both directions on the river. Honestly the property was SO nice we hardly wanted to leave it but we did manage to get out a few days to visit Ottawa and the cute towns of Perth & Almonte. Two fabulous restaurants we visited and recommend is Joe's Italian Kitchen (In Almonte) and Michael's Table in Perth. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog Russ who had the BEST time all week enjoying the water, boats and watching the wild life from his little fur rug in sunny bay window.

We had a great stay! Clean, well organized and close to all the attractions we were interested in. We used both the hot tub and the fire pit, nice features to have after a day out exploring. Will definitely recommend

This is such a lovely place to just come and relax. it is a well-appointed house with a lovely bathroom. The hot tub was perfect hot private and relaxing. The kitchen was well-appointed. I will be booking this place in the future.

Great place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, excellent scenery and private location. Was a great time to spend relaxing, lounging and sunning ourselves on the dock.

We had such a great stay at this place! Super calm, peaceful, and surrounded by trees with an awesome view of the lake. Mornings were especially lovely, with the harmony of birdsong adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The sauna and hot tub were a big bonus and really added to the relaxation vibe. It’s in a beautiful green area, away from the noise of city life, but still just about 20 minutes from stores and local spots. We also loved the little extras like kayak, projector, and all the games and board games definitely made our family time even more fun. The team was super responsive and helpful, answering all our questions quickly. My family and I really enjoyed our time here, thank you for everything Breathe Vacation Rentals!

Perfect place for a quiet peaceful getaway! Loved listening to the frog symphony and beautiful sunset. It was private and very relaxing. The cabin is small but perfect and very clean. Especially loved the loft and very comfy bed. Everything was perfect!

We had an awesome stay at Dawn's cabin! The place is really quiet and private. Even if the place doesn't have electricity and water everything you need is there such as water bottles, snacks, kitchen supplies, BBQ with gaz, wood, pans, candles and chargeable lights, blankets etc. Also we were there to celebrate my birthday and Dawn was really thoughtful by placing some cupcakes for our arrival. Self check-in was also really smooth and well indicated. I totally recommend you to book there. It was such a good weekend to reload our batteries away from the city. Thank you!

Rachel's place suited us perfectly! We were visiting some family who were camping at Charleston Lake Provincial Park, which was only four minutes away. The cabin was super quiet and the main living area was spacious and welcoming. We would come back here.

My kids, my mom and I loved the place. Beautiful and cozy cabin, surrounded of amazing landscapes. It is very peaceful and quiet place to have a real rest-time. We stayed for few time (unfortunately) as we were doing some activities in nearest towns, but, ths place is incredible to be in contact with nature, to do hicking, fishing, and swiming in the lake and many activit. You can buy delicious apple cider (we bought also for to go), eggs, and many farm products (vinager, etc) for a very good price. If you read all the information provided by the land lord and follow the rules, this place will exceed expectations. We will come back for sure soon for more nights!. We stayed at the Phoenix house, took a long meander through the woods, borrowed the canoe for a paddle, decompressed in the sauna then relaxed on the sun-bed heated gently by the wood stove. All in all Rena and Co made us feel right at home and welcome to explore.

Steph's place is a perfect lake getaway that leaves you wanting for nothing. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable, replete with an updated kitchen (and top notch BBQ), netted windows to let the breeze in, and beds that you won't want to leave... that is until you see the water. The dock is private and plentiful -- the place you will want to park yourself for plenty of sun and swimming. And if somehow you tire of that tranquility, there are many other seating areas distributed throughout to enjoy the peace and quiet. The photos truly don't do it justice... so if you haven't hit book by now, just do it (unless you're eyeing the next time I want to return!). Big thanks to Steph for hosting, the great communication, and leaving no detail left out.

Pretty view of the Rideau River. Quiet spot to relax, take a stroll around the neighborhood. The kitchen had everything that was needed to cook. Comfy bed with a great view.

A lovely place to stay whether you’re a local or visiting the area. Hay island is peaceful and a beautiful get away. We hope others can enjoy it as much as we did.

The place was just what we needed to unwind and get away from it all. Our favourite part of the cabin was the screened porch. It was airy and comfy, looking out to a pond. All you hear all day long are sounds of nature such as frogs, chipmunks, squirrels, and birds like woodpeckers, hawks, ducks, and loons. Blair is a great and responsive host who even took time to show us around Long Lake on canoe and kayak.

We loved our stay at the Lewis Family Cottage. Located in Perth just an hour from downtown Ottawa, it was the perfect spot to get away for the weekend. Located right on the lake we spent the days lounging on the dock and swimming. Inside the cottage has a functional layout and tasteful cottage decor - lots of natural light. Even on a hot day, fans were enough to keep the place a reasonable temperature. The screened in porch was a very nice feature, as were the paddle board, canoe and kayak. Host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Would love to come back to this lakeside oasis in the future! Thanks Lewises :-)

We stayed at Meghan’s cottage for a little spring getaway - it was so relaxing, and what a beautiful setting! The cottage sits right on the waterfront and there is screened deck space, shaded deck, and a dock in the sun! Swimming would be amazing (it was too cold in April to stay in long), you can’t see the bottom off the dock - nice clean water! We had a fire at the waters edge, and the loons were singing! Hope we can go back again sometime!

Great place to stay the hosts were wonderful and if you needed anything they are next door to help! Beautiful views from the big screened in porch which is amazing to keep bugs away! Cottage has everything you need and right on the lake, you can’t beat the value! Definitely hope to return one day…highly recommended 😊
