Religious building holiday rentals in Western Europe

Chris & Orla were warm and welcoming. Their home was beautifully restored, and they had great taste in decor and art. We loved visiting with their friendly dogs: Bird & Pete. Breakfast was so delicious, and fueled us for our adventures. The place was easy to find and nice and quiet. The location was a short easy drive from Galway City. We truly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return some day!

We had a such a relaxing and unique stay at the church for a long weekend with the family. The renovation of the church is beautiful with lots of lovely design details. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the Pembrokeshire coastline is only a short drive away. 8 of us and a dog stayed at the church (one child and baby) the bedrooms are small but it didn't feel too cramped. The downstairs feels very spacious with a high ceiling and the log burner is really cosy especially for a rainy night! The place was very warm and calming, would definitely recommend for a place to recharge your batteries. Charlotte sent very clear instructions and there was a folder of information within the church so we didn't need to contact her at all but knew we could if we needed anything.

Great location, warm welcome by Oliver. Room met the description and so our expectations. Clean and tidy. The bed is on the soft side for us, which is of course very personal. Oliver gave Oliver the tip to have dinner at Piero Gallone, this was indeed recommended! Illertissen does not very much itself, at least that is our opinion.

Very cosy, quiet and great shared kitchen. Location was good and easy to access with tram and buses. Easy communication with host and prompt responses to any questions.

The church is very charming. It's a great place to stay off the beaten path. A minimum of adaptability is required, but it is definitely worth it. I hope to be back soon.

We stayed with 2 families at Peter's place. We enjoyed the lovingly maintained garden and the detailed furnished house in a fantastic location in Böhme. The garden invites you to linger. The floor space to relax and unwind. Deceleration exudes the house. Very nicely decorated. Very good and easy communication with our hosts. Questions were answered quickly and Peter and his wife were also very relaxed with the children. We were welcomed with open arms and may come back. Thanks for the generous hospitality!

The airbnb was exactly as described. The building is beautiful! It would be a great rental for a small family or group of friends. There is a lot of space to maintain some privacy while also allowing for spending time together.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place.

Corbin was an above and beyond great host. We had 10 of us staying and there was plenty of room for all of us. Even at breakfast we all had room. Corbin preshopped for morning breakfast items, provided his own roasted coffee which is really good and had available to us frozen pizza for when we got there and also late at night. Everything was clean and tidy. Very responsive to questions and checked in to see if we needed anything. For us he was very flexible on check in and check out time allowing us ample time to get ready for the wedding and the morning after. Corbin is very proud and passionate about his property and hosting and it showed during our stay. Thank you for everything you provided and making our time at the Chouse so relaxing.

This was our 2nd time staying here and we love it so much!! The house is absolutely gorgeous, furniture is comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, and there’s restaurants/coffee shop/shops/park within a few steps . The kids walked to the park (2 minute walk) and swam in the river. And the host is super helpful if you need anything.

We had an amazing experience in the converted chapel in Strömsberg! A unique and magical place with a lovely atmosphere. The chapel was beautifully renovating and combined charm and history with modern comfort. The surroundings were serene and perfect to relax and get away from everyday life. I would definitely recommend this listing to anyone looking for a different and memorable stay.

Without a doubt the coolest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I highly recommend it. The space is awesome, the beds are comfortable, and it’s close to everything. I would absolutely stay again.

A BEAUTIFUL and incredibly unique place to stay. The outside is a beautiful church building surrounded by grass and trees, while the inside is an eclectic and funky home while still keeping key elements of the history of the church. My friends and I had a great time, it was the perfect place to hang out, with plenty of things to do! The host was also very communicative and flexible with us. Could not recommend this place enough.

Absolutely stunning! Could not have asked for a more beautiful home in this peaceful small town. Great restaurants, the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath, and even a local Strawberry Festival all within walking distance.

Stayed with 7 girls for my birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. Very private and secluded. House was clean and owners were very kind. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back in future!

Jennifer was a stellar host! Extremely communicative and was always helpful even for the smallest things! The place is such a unique stay in Enid.

Every year we drive to Fort Belknap for our family reunion.. we have stayed at hotels there in Graham for years. I am so glad I found this adorable little place. We had a great time and hopefully will be back next year.

Brilliant, so cosy and the beds soooo comfortable. sangria (ordered separately) was amazing and huge, we couldn't finish it. everything is amazing and easy, our daughter loved Charlie the great dane 😀. Town is 10min walk but steep uphill on way back. Huge amount of restaurants and bars. Park is just behind with peacocks, chickens and peaceful. Please be aware everything (palaces etc) are really spread out so book a tour!. The amount of people desperate for a lift or tuktuk was funny. ubers are readily available but roads are small windey and busy at times. hope this helps.

Enjoyed our fourth annual girls weekend in Staunton! The Sanctuary was perfect for the 4 of us - plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the space. I especially loved the fireplace and the bathrooms - just beautiful. We would love to stay again in the future!
