Holiday rentals with a kayak in Western Europe

What an absolute gem of a stay. The property is impeccably maintained and so beautiful. The guests house that we stayed in was so comfortable and very clean. The bed is quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The pool and the hot tub are perfect. The doggo’s are super sweet and lovable. Danielle and the rest of the team are all very smart and a pleasure to talk with. We will definitely be referring the place to our friends and will be back ourselves every year as long as it’s available.

We had a wonderful time at Tami's place! The house is super cute, so well designed, and in a great location that lends itself well to doing things on-site as well as serving as a springboard to other places/attractions. At the house, we enjoyed sunbathing, snorkeling (cool fish living right there whereTami and hubby built a wall in the water with stacked limestone pieces), and paddling the ocean kayak (we saw a nurse shark as we were heading out to one of the sandbars!). We loved the deck where you can sit and enjoy the cool breeze off the water while listening to the waves and admiring the view. As mentioned, we were close enough to zip into town to shop, visit beaches, and do an excursion without having to drive very far. Communication both prior & after arrival was easy and replies were super prompt. Once there, Tami had left a notebook full of info on every possible thing to do/see on the island. We loved our time there & wished we could have stayed longer!

It was a cozy and comfortable place to stay. The amenities were great, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub! Anna was a wonderful host, and we appreciated her hospitality

Brian was very accomodating and offered a great place for us to stay. It was a stress-free week at the lake with a wonderful view. The weather was great, so we got to use the roll up door during the day which made the place very unique and enjoyable. We will be booking this house again in the future and recommending it for anyone wanting a great stay on the lake!

We LOVED this place. My family and I had a great time with all the amentias we had just at the Airbnb alone. It was everything and more. Sergio was a great host! We also took advantage of the limo service to a concert, and it was amazing! The house was so clean and the location was great. It's only about a 20 minute drive to get to downtown Dallas. We would definitely stay here again.

I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars. This was absolutely the best vacation myself and my fiancé could have asked for. From swimming in the lake, fishing, grilling, making s’mores by the fire, or just relaxing in the house at night. We never wanted to leave! Tamara and Robert were excellent hosts, the house was stocked with every amenity we could ask for, and the lake was a beautiful temperature all week. I really can’t express enough how perfect of a stay this was. We are definitely considering coming back sooner than later!

The Boathouse was everything with all of its special details, cleanliness, and amenities to make for a memorable stay! Location to the small towns was convenient and the view from the Boathouse never got old whether it was early morning, raining or evening. A trip worth visiting the Boathouse again!

Kelly’s place was amazing. If you are looking for an awesome getaway to Chattanooga, this is the place. Beautiful house right on the river. We fished, built a fire, ate good food, and had a wonderful time. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice place and owners are attentive and helpful ! Nice and quite but close to many fun places if you want to go out.

A little off the beaten path but an absolute amazing place to wind down especially if you’re looking for a break from the city atmosphere. Kenny was fabulous, the home was perfect or our little reading retreat! Will definitely stay on the list for future travel!

One word. PERFECT. The host was very nice and sent a message the day we checked in, well before the check in time, explaining exactly how to get to the cabin, where the key was ect. My friend and I brought a ton of movies and games and activities so we spent most of our time indoors but the time outside was great! We spent a fair amount of time outside on the porch (which has fans) on the rocking chairs and the hammock on the deck. I’m usually a mosquito magnet but in the 5 days we stayed I only got bit once on the last night. There was way more included than I expected as well! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and extremely clean. The host also had a little booklet on the table giving a brief overview of anything they could think of from remotes to light switches as well as checkout instructions. There was also a binder with local restaurant menus as well as recommendations for things to do in the area. All in all everything was great and easy and we cant wait to stay again!

We absolutely LOVED this place!! My fiance and I needed a place to stay for the night with our dachshund and this was the best place we could have picked! We rented the kayaks and it was so much fun🙌🏼 props to the owners of this place, because the decoration was amazing!! I will most definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for everything!!

So relaxing! We are always so busy and on the go, so this was the perfect spot for us! Private, and quiet; we enjoyed how peaceful it was. The space was super cute and clean and had everything we needed. Did some fishing, relaxed in the hot tub, and ate at a couple of local restaurants, The Wellwood, and The Forge. The only thing we didn’t enjoy, was leaving! Looking forward to going back! ❤️

We were on our honeymoon and was a perfect getaway for us to relax! We really enjoyed the amenities and extremely clean living space. A few of our favorite parts of the stay were chilling on the porch swing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. We would highly recommend this to anybody who wants a private and romantic getaway!

We felt right at home. We especially enjoyed the added details such as the massage chair and spa like products in the bathroom. Very peaceful and serene view of the lake with lake access. We would love to come back during the winter and make use of the wood burning stove :)

Our kids had an absolute blast at the lake—paddle boarding and kayaking were definitely the highlights for them. Our stay was truly special and exactly what we were hoping for to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was not only just as described, but it had an extra warmth and charm that made it feel like home. It was the perfect mix of comfort, peacefulness, and beautiful scenery—ideal for unwinding and spending quality time together. What really made the experience stand out, though, was Kevin’s hospitality. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time—he even lent us one of his fishing poles and gave us a quick lesson, which meant a lot to us as first-timers. That kind of thoughtfulness made the trip even more memorable. We’re so glad we chose this place to celebrate, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you Kevin!

We had high expectations based on the listing and reviews and they were met. The cabin was charming, well appointed, and clean. Great care package set up when you arrive. Hot tub, grill, fireplace all worked and the instructions were appreciated. A rare wind storm came through during our stay knocking out power to the area for part of the day but the well stocked games along with the fireplace to take the chill out of the cabin made us not mind at all.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and immediately felt we could decompress and relax. It was so peaceful, loved the style of the house, the private lake was so nice and we loved grilling and just being in nature.

I have stayed here several times and just love it. It's perfect for my short stays in Abilene -- especially the screened porch with comfy furniture and a nice view of the lake for a long session reading.

I can’t say enough about the cabin and the host Mia. The cabin is small but spacious and not cluttered very mid century modern which made it very cozy and fun. It offered all the utensils necessary for cooking or BBQing. We caught lots of Crappy, kayaked, swimming area was nice and clean. Our grand kids enjoyed the lily pad and swing. Overall a great experience and lots of fun. Amazing. Sandee

By far the BEST place we have stayed at ever! Beautiful dock over the water sitting area, screened in and we couldn’t be happier! Great place and we are coming back!
