Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Western coast of Cantabria

If you are looking for a quiet, historical, peaceful experience in northern Spain, this is it. The stone house is modernized and comfortable with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen is excellent and it was wonderful to have an outdoor space to eat and lounge and enjoy the setting. We stayed five days and there are endless day trips to take to nearby towns, beaches, mountains, markets and restaurants. Diego was a fantastic host and Marta opened the house for us. Both responded immediately to any of our needs. We loved it.

We have been 12 people in the house, marriages with children and what I say would fall very short, the house is spectacular in every way, location, cleanliness, size, comfortable, we found it incredible and we will definitely repeat!! Rebeca is very friendly and helpful. It's well worth it.

Raul was a very accommodating host. Communication was very good and queries were answered quickly, allowing us to check in a little early with our very tired baby. Everything had been thought of. There was a travel cot in the room, milk, pastries and hot and cold refreshments. The room was immaculate with lovely facilities and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was quiet but there were bars and cafes within walking distance and a lovely child friendly restaurant less than 5 minutes drive away. Would be first choice to stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

We have been very comfortable in the house, it is located in a very beautiful place surrounded by nature and animals. The house is just as seen in the photos, everything is very clean and tidy, there is nothing missing to spend a few days on vacation. Our girls have enjoyed the small garden and the terrace. We have taken several walks in the surroundings and close to the river, everything is very nice. We would definitely repeat.

Our stay in Comillas was simply perfect, and much of it is due to Rikke. From the first moment, she was an attentive, friendly host and always willing to help us with any questions or recommendations. She greeted us with a warmth that made us feel at home from the very first minute. The place exceeded all our expectations: clean, cozy, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can tell that Rikke takes care of every detail with care. In addition, the location is unbeatable to explore Comillas and enjoy its coastal charm, unique architecture and delicious gastronomy. We had one of the most peaceful and heartwarming stays thanks to Lorena. Although we originally planned to visit several nearby places, we felt so comfortable and at peace that we chose to stay close and simply enjoy Garabandal and Pechón. The rainy weather didn’t matter at all because the calm, the beauty of the surroundings, and Lorena’s warm presence made everything feel special. Lorena was more than just a host, she was a wonderful guide and support throughout our stay. Always kind, attentive, and incredibly sweet with the children. Her hospitality went far beyond expectations, and thanks to her, the house felt like home. We love Nature. My entire family left asking when we could come back. We are deeply grateful for everything she did for us. More than the house itself, it was Lorena who made this experience unforgettable. We truly hope to return someday.

Miguel takes great care that you are at your pleasure. The casita is cozy and in a super quiet and beautiful area. He gave us a bunch of recommendations of places to visit that are worth seeing. It also gave us very accurate information about where the place was and everything you need to know about both the house and areas of interest. Host attentive and thoughtful

If your after peace in a rural setting in a Spanish style house this is for you. Turn up and chill out. Lots to see in the area BUT you absolutely need a car and expect to drive a decent distance.

A magnificent place beautifully restored. Lovely grounds with an outdoor kitchen area under cover and the pool an added bonus. The views were just fabulous. Elena responded quickly to every message. Hopefully we will return for longer next time .

Everything was great. The house is very good, in a very quiet and green environment that we really enjoyed. And Silvia is super attentive and friendly, willing to help in anything we needed. I wish we repeated!!! It is very close to Cabárceno and Santillana del Mar, which was why we were going :)

We spent in total 10 days in the aopartment and had a really nice holiday. The appartment is equipped with all necessary utilities and was very tidy and clean. Jose was a wonderful host and available whenever needed. We can definitely recommend the appartement and surely plan to come back one day.

I wish to do not share places like this and keep it private :) The view is stunning! An amazing place to relax from daily noise! Nick and Kate were helpful and their place is gorgeous! I wish to spend more time in place like this: birds, cows, clouds, barbecue, sauna, walks, rain, mountains, fog.

Beautiful house just as is in the pictures. Fresh flowers in the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen gave it that little extra. Jose is a great host: both friendly and professional. The hiking opportunities are closeby, with stunning views. I'd definetely go again if I'm in the area.

We stayed only one night in March but everything was great, 1 spacious room and sofa bed for the kids, everything just like the pictures. They have their own parking and each apartment has a balcony or garden to enjoy the good weather. It is only 300m from Santillana so you can walk perfectly, if we are around again we repeat! We stayed in Lucia's studio apartment which is a very efficient little place. The only thing missing was a water kettle for tea, but maybe that is not a Spanish thing :)) close to little restaurants and shops and easy access. excellent for a night or weekend.
