Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Western coast of Cantabria

If you are looking for a quiet, historical, peaceful experience in northern Spain, this is it. The stone house is modernized and comfortable with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen is excellent and it was wonderful to have an outdoor space to eat and lounge and enjoy the setting. We stayed five days and there are endless day trips to take to nearby towns, beaches, mountains, markets and restaurants. Diego was a fantastic host and Marta opened the house for us. Both responded immediately to any of our needs. We loved it.

We have been 12 people in the house, marriages with children and what I say would fall very short, the house is spectacular in every way, location, cleanliness, size, comfortable, we found it incredible and we will definitely repeat!! Rebeca is very friendly and helpful. It's well worth it.

We have been very comfortable in the house, it is located in a very beautiful place surrounded by nature and animals. The house is just as seen in the photos, everything is very clean and tidy, there is nothing missing to spend a few days on vacation. Our girls have enjoyed the small garden and the terrace. We have taken several walks in the surroundings and close to the river, everything is very nice. We would definitely repeat.

Our stay in Comillas was simply perfect, and much of it is due to Rikke. From the first moment, she was an attentive, friendly host and always willing to help us with any questions or recommendations. She greeted us with a warmth that made us feel at home from the very first minute. The place exceeded all our expectations: clean, cozy, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can tell that Rikke takes care of every detail with care. In addition, the location is unbeatable to explore Comillas and enjoy its coastal charm, unique architecture and delicious gastronomy. We stayed here three nights with our four children while exploring the Picos. The photos don’t do it justice. Incredible nice space with the most lovely patio. Very clean and private feeling. Potes is an easy ~8 min drive away for restaurants. You’re within an hour of several great hikes in the Picos de Europa. One hike we (which we unfortunately have time to do) departs right from behind the home. Host was very communicative and helpful. Hope to come back some day!

Miguel takes great care that you are at your pleasure. The casita is cozy and in a super quiet and beautiful area. He gave us a bunch of recommendations of places to visit that are worth seeing. It also gave us very accurate information about where the place was and everything you need to know about both the house and areas of interest. Host attentive and thoughtful

A really comfortable apartment for a family of four like ours. The fantastic location, half an hour from almost every point of interest. Supermarket nearby although you have to go by car, in the neighborhood there is no grocery store. Lastly to say it was spotless on our arrival. We had a great stay at Fabián's apartment.

Everything is perfect. It's a house with all kinds of details. And the best thing is the views it has, you wake up looking at the sea. Highly recommended.

If your after peace in a rural setting in a Spanish style house this is for you. Turn up and chill out. Lots to see in the area BUT you absolutely need a car and expect to drive a decent distance.

A magnificent place beautifully restored. Lovely grounds with an outdoor kitchen area under cover and the pool an added bonus. The views were just fabulous. Elena responded quickly to every message. Hopefully we will return for longer next time .

We spent in total 10 days in the aopartment and had a really nice holiday. The appartment is equipped with all necessary utilities and was very tidy and clean. Jose was a wonderful host and available whenever needed. We can definitely recommend the appartement and surely plan to come back one day.

Very much recommended! The apartment is very comfortable, clean and situated in a beautiful area. For those who look to escape to a rural coastal area, this is for you.

Nice and cosy apartment in the complex. Easy to find and very good communication with the Host. The only disadvantage was the lack of mobile network and the WIFI connection was very unstable. If this is not mandatory for your stay I can highly recommend staying there for a few days to chill and explore the surroundings :)

Beautiful house just as is in the pictures. Fresh flowers in the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen gave it that little extra. Jose is a great host: both friendly and professional. The hiking opportunities are closeby, with stunning views. I'd definetely go again if I'm in the area.

We stayed only one night in March but everything was great, 1 spacious room and sofa bed for the kids, everything just like the pictures. They have their own parking and each apartment has a balcony or garden to enjoy the good weather. It is only 300m from Santillana so you can walk perfectly, if we are around again we repeat! We stayed in Lucia's studio apartment which is a very efficient little place. The only thing missing was a water kettle for tea, but maybe that is not a Spanish thing :)) close to little restaurants and shops and easy access. excellent for a night or weekend.
