House holiday rentals in Westerkwartier

We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

The chalet of Dewi is beautiful, clean/tidy, and well located. The beds slept wonderfully. We visited it in the winter, it always took a while for it to get warm. But that was not really important to us, because we were always visiting friends. The cottage was great for us as a place to stay and base.

Super neat park. The cottage with sauna and pool was neat and expected. However, it was unclear when booking that towels were not included.

With friends, we were able to stay a midweek in this beautiful cottage. We felt at home immediately upon arrival. There was a delicious apple pie and chocolate waiting for us. The cottage exceeded expectations. Very complete and super neat. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen with everything on it. A cozy room with a good TV. The bedrooms were super. Delicious beds and nice and quiet. Towels, soap, cleaning articles were abundantly available. Even in the two barns, there were things you could use if you needed to. Because there are several terraces, you can sit outside. We have not lacked anything. We would like to come back to enjoy it again.

With a group of friends of 5 people, we stayed three nights in this AirBnB on a small-scale park. There were few other guests in the park, so we could enjoy the nice jacuzzi and garden. Unfortunately, for the (unheated) pool, the temperature outside was just a bit too cold. Inside is a lot of space, the cottage is much larger in terms of seating space than for 5-6 people. The beds (a total of 6 sleeping places) were excellent. With two refrigerators, six burners (gas stove) and a spacious dishwasher, the kitchen was also great, although unfortunately there was no towel or tea towel available to dry the hands and small dishes. It is also nice that there are two toilets (one of which is separate), but the door to the bathroom with toilet cannot be locked and does not close completely. Arrival is fine, with some information from the host in advance via the app and on site instructions to get to the right cottage at the small bungalow park. All in all a great stay in a nice area!

my husband, two sons, and partners stayed. Lots of room, a beautiful home ,one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed in, a home from home. Very relaxing, we were sad to leave but will return.

We had a great time in this beautiful cottage in the countryside. The welcome was very warm, the cottage was clean and very characterful. We completely relaxed and the jacuzzi was great. We expected the pool to be open, but in the end we had a great time swimming in the Canada lake and with long walks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beautiful nature and tranquility.

The two of us spent three days in Yoeri's beautiful holiday home and felt very comfortable there. We liked both the house and the garden and there was everything we needed. We booked sheets and towels so we didn't need to bring them. One day we rented a boat in the boat rental of the holiday park and explored the surrounding waters. We will be happy to come back.

This was the most beautiful spot we have stayed at. The location and surrounding were so peaceful. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos.

Nice and cozy house with a farm-like atmosphere. We definitely felt at home. It has a very nice large garden. The neighbors' horses were running around on the lawn opposite the garden. So we had a good view of the beautiful horses. The house has stylish furniture and the smoke is nice throughout the stay. The coffee was delicious! Everything was clean. The beds were nice. The house is close to an industrial estate, so trucks drive past early in the morning, but with the window closed, we had little trouble! The recycling around the corner is nice and Leek is also a very cozy village further on. It is close to Groningen. This cottage is definitely recommended!

Great and friendly hosts, nice and cosy environment that will make you feel totally relaxed. Thanks Tjitske for the great recommendations to do in the area as well. We would highly recommend spending the time here!
