Holiday rentals with breakfast in Westerkwartier

We arrive just for a weekend to see the Devin Townsend concert, but was amazing, first we arrived early than expected (11:00 hrs) but she recieved us anyway, the decoration and the ambient was amazing and of course the beautiful cat "Coco", also we had really good connection to public transport, thank you Tineke, sorry if we dont share too much with you but we dont had so much time to know the city, Greetings Antonia & Gabriel

Ria is an incredibly hospitable host with a very nice stay. The room I stayed in was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very neat and in the utility room there was a microwave available to possibly warm up a meal. I have also noticed that Ria is very flexible with breakfast. If you are not allowed to do something or do not like something, you can tell her Furthermore, the house is within walking distance from a bus stop, making it very accessible. Should I ever be in the area, I would definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend Rommy's place. Very friendly and helpful hosts, well equipped room, house in a lovely garden. Bus stop to Groningen nearby. Shop in walking distance .There is also a nice lake if you want to go for a walk.

Kindest hosts you can experience

Overall a lovely stay in a very well located place. Kitchen was clean and had a large dishwasher which was helpful with children in tow. Full bath was lovely. Caretaker was friendly and a pleasure to work with. A really cool guy who furnished the place with personal, artistic touches. Groningen was so easy to explore on a rental bakfiets. Grocery, restaurants, parks and cultural places minutes from the apartment. Wish we had access to the washer/dryer given we were traveling with children. Bath was not operational due to a leak needing investigation through no fault of the caretakers doing, but would have made bathing children easier. Overall would highly recommend. Edwin was so friendly and oriented us during our check in. Groningen beats the bustle of the Randstad any day!

Roelie is very open and friendly. She explained everything to us on arrival and gave us tips for the area. Everything was super clean and the bed really very cozy. We both got a delicious breakfast in the room tomorrow, where we could choose the time freely. The location is also great, you can walk to the city in 20 minutes. If we come to Groningen again, I would choose this accommodation again.

Alfred and Annalies are friendly hosts, who respond quickly to messages. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home in the room. The room was large, tidy and clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was extensive and very tasty. The only downside for us were the pillows, these were a bit too thin and too soft for us, but otherwise everything was completely fine. Thank you, Alfred and Annalies!

very good stay. Super available and kind host, tjs ready to help. super comfortable bed. Gde bathroom with products available. excellent breakfast. and very varied. I recommend it. Just, the house number should be more visible as we arrived at night.

What a great place, to stay at. I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Also the home is very pleasant to stay, very clean, lovely views from th living room, over the pond and the fields. Very quiet location for sleeping. The breakfast is very complete with fresly baked breads and croissants. And Cathie was so kind to let us pet her horses and goats. Thank you for a very nice stay, Cathie!

Janneke is nice, helpful and interested! Exactly appropriate! Everything is perfectly fine, clean, tidy and a great bed! In consultation, I showered at night, which was also no problem for Janneke (I had a party close by, with dressing and green hair, hence the desire to shower). Janneke is super understanding and that made me feel very much at home. Janneke is a super host! :)

We were super great short stay and were also able to enjoy the tranquility of the lovingly nature-connected and sustainable farm. Great out-door kitchen, lovely people and super service. I would come back anytime. The attention to detail and artistic influences complete the farm perfectly. Thanks for that :)

Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. We loved it here! Yt and all the staff are so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The place is beautiful and the food is really amazing. I would definately go back. But the best thing is the dogs, they are all great, but Guapo is super cool and my new best friend :)

We were completely delighted to stay in the "Vliegtuig". The small apartment is so individually and well equipped, Frederique such a friendly host and breakfast a dream. The apartment is very quiet and even has its own small garden. It couldn't be better. Thank you!

We felt very welcomed by Wilma, she was very attentive, polite, and friendly. Our stay was very comfortable and peaceful. The room had all the amenities we needed and it felt very cozy. We will definitely come back in the future!

What a nice b&b. We received a warm and friendly welcome, and it is a nice quiet place. The room is not very big but had exactly the two most important things we were looking for: Nice (and cared for with attention and love) breakfast and wonderful beds. We would love to come back here again!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

A very pleasant stay, even for a short overnight stay. That I arrived a little later in the evening was no problem. The room was comfortable and equipped with towels and a sink. Breakfast was excellent and definitely worth the money. Recommended if you are staying in the north of the Netherlands.
