Family-friendly holiday rentals in Westcliff-on-Sea

I was here for work and the area was fantastic. Great place to walk my dog in the morning and evenings. Fantastic facilities like gym and coffee shop. Would happily stay again even if not for work.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at the River View barn. The barn was lovely and so peaceful with a beautiful view. We had such a great time and would recommend this to everyone.

Perfect for a party of 6 to 8 people, great social spaces and helpful host. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return again. Thank you Emily

We loved our night's stay at the Hen House. We live locally and visit Parlour Cafe regularly (it's our fav local cafe and they do the yummiest food) We booked our stay to have some quality time together and it was perfect. Easy to access, hot tub was easy to book and there are some lovely walks locally. Host was easy to get hold of and lots of information sent up-front :)

Very clean, bedding and towels smelled great. Hot tub was very relaxing, nice farmland surroundings and would recommend shoes/boots that can withstand the mud!

Thank you Sophie, the house felt like a home. The books, the toys, the rooms, the garden an added bonus for the little people. “but why can’t we stay longer” asked grandchild. Appreciated the earlier check in, and thank you for your flexibility and understanding with our car problems.

Due to issues with the original booking Laura very quickly contacted us and arranged for us to stay at Quince cottage this was a lovely clean place to stay with a large garden and easy access to all amenities so we were very happy with our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maya’s cottage. We would love to come back and would recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay in Whitstable!

We had a wonderful two days at Fisherman’s Cot. Set in beautiful gardens, it had a really special vibe. Frank and Jo were warm and welcoming and we felt at home straight away. It was a short 10 min walk to the beach and into Whitstable town centre, so it’s a great location. Even better to return back and spend the evening eating al-fresco in the garden while our dog Arnold sniffed and explored. A very relaxing stay.

What's not to love about this place? Absolutely nothing. The pictures are exactly how the room is, it maybe small but there is everything you need! As well as the basic kitchen equipment there is a hot plate, slow cooker and egg cooker, cafetiere, tea pot and complimentary tea, coffee, milk pots and biscuits. The bedding and towels were top notch . Everything was spotless the crockery and glasses included. The balcony has a table and 2 comfy chairs where you can sit and relax listening to the birds in the garden. It is very peaceful. Both Jonathan & Jackie are fantastic hosts, they respond quickly to messages and are both very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a 3 night break and was fully refreshed and relaxed. Cliffs Pavilion is only a short 5 min walk, Rossi Ice cream about another 5 mins down steps to seafront. This was our 2nd time staying but will definitely be back.

We had a great time here. It is a really good location. It is right on the high street but still quite quiet and peaceful. As other reviews mentioned, the stairs are steep so perhaps not suitable for those with certain mobility issues but we found them fine! Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

Great place from which to explore whitstable, and a lucent place to stay

I booked the property for my partner and eldest child. They loved how close it was to all the amenities and beach and especially loved how bright and airy the bedrooms were. David was very responsive and helpful and we would recommend his place to anyone looking for a break by the sea.

My second stay with Jo during a week of working in the area, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. Relaxing surroundings with plenty of space and kitchen facilities make a stay away from home so much better. I would recommend Jo's garden cabin very highly indeed.

We had a wonderful few days at Susan's house. We were lucky to find this place available at short notice. It offered exactly what we were looking in terms of location and accommodation. The house was easy to find and check-in to. It was exactly as described, had everything we needed and absolutely spotless. The location of the house was ideal, just 10 minutes to walk to the beach which we did every day. Thank you Susan for providing such a lovely house for our family holiday - we can't wait to come back again very soon!

Dealtrees Farm was excellent, everything as described but much better than expected. Any queries raised were answered promptly and the host was very accommodating to our requests. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. It was fantastic.

The opportunity came to get away for a couple of nights and we couldn't think of anywhere better than to return to Peter's and Fergal's place in beautiful Whitstable, having spent a number of weeks here over the years. Although it is a five hour journey to Whitstable from Manchester, we absolutely love this place. Peter's response to our last minute request was immediate and made the stay flawless and an extremely pleasant experience. We do love a barbecue and we were delighted to find everything we needed in the shed at the back of the beautiful garden. Also took the opportunity to go swimming in the sea. Doesn't get any better! There is nothing that both Peter and Fergal haven't thought of to make it a pleasant experience, whether it is for a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. We will be back next year for a longer stay for sure. This house is a must for anyone wanting to visit beautiful Whistable.

We had a fantastic couple of nights. Very pretty, comfy bed, and everything was thought of for our stay. The location was excellent. Emma was extremely responsive to our messages and very helpful. We'll be back!

It was a beautiful house and Jessica was the best host - she was so kind and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Our kids were in floods of tears because they didn’t want to leave! It’s a perfect location and so lovely to be so close to the beach. We look forward to staying again, thank you Jess!

Great base for a few days exploring the sights. Everything was walkable and easy parking on the next street. Would recommend 100%
