Holiday rentals with a sauna in West Somerset District

I stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect! So peaceful and private. The pool is shared however we were the only ones in it. The place is so clean and homely (most comfortable bed and sofa). Our hot tub heated up fast and was easy to set up. The hosts were lovely and so helpful after our car broke down. Beaches are all around may be a 15-30 min drive depending where you are going. Couldn’t fault anything, it was perfect and we will definitely be back again (most likely in the winter) Amazing! Thank you x

Lovely stay. The instructions on how to get to the flat and check in etc were spot on. The walk to the beach is minutes, which is fantastic. Even though we stayed in Feb half term we were lucky with some breaks in the weather, so were able to enjoy the beach. My kids enjoyed running into the freezing sea! The flat is very clean and comfy. It’s a great base for everything that the local area has to offer. We used the swimming pool twice. It was easy to book this - I did so in advance and time slots were pretty full. We enjoyed taking a trip over Croyde and having lunch and a beer at The Thatch which is a north Devon must! Thank you for having us.

Aaron had made sure we had everything we needed including phone chargers which came in handy. The flat was very spacious, homely and well located. As a host Aaron was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall a great stay.

Brilliant place. Such an awesome location

We loved the apartment, immediately felt at home. Unusual artefacts give it a special feeling, and signs of family life make it welcoming - you don't feel you're renting. The sitting room is huge with comfortable sofas and armchairs, and shelves full of books to read. There's a dining room and two bedrooms and two bathrooms but, alas, my only criticism, only one toilet. I'd do away with the sauna and put in a toilet instead. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The Upgrade Authority is very efficient - I blew a fuse using the toaster and it was fixed immediately. The area is lovely, a village suburb, with a mix of shops, takeaways, restaurants, and traditional pubs. We hope to return.

The apartment is in a great position with great facilities. 3 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the shops. Highly recommended for a trip to Woolacombe

Beautiful place, highly recommend. The apartment was perfect, immaculately clean throughout and a fully equipped kitchen. We felt very much at home and the space was a relaxing and calming environment for us and our two Dogs. Great location, close to the beach, local shops and bars. Thank you for letting us stay.

Really great place for a vacation, either a short or a longer break. Stunning place and very well cared for, with really comfortable and spacious accommodation, and nice common areas, especially for families. Very peaceful. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna are great, although a bit busy at times (as expected). Nice bar/play room with games for when the weather is not so great. Shame that the restaurant was closed for renovations at the time, but that was expected as it was mentioned in the listing. Area around is served by plenty and really nice, traditional pubs with good food and drink. Great experience, overall!

Wonderful apartment (bigger than expected from the photos), in a fantastic location! Great communication from point of booking, and right through to our entire stay. Will definitely visit again!

The location was within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. Having off-street parking is an absolute bonus in Exeter, and having room for 2 cars was fantastic. The proeprty has been modernised, itwas clean with good natural light and was excellent value. If we require accommodation in Exeter again, we would be trying to book here again

Very clean, and spacious. The location was perfect for us and we loved the swimming and games room. The staff was also really helpful whenever we needed anything.

Great apartment complex right by the beach. The flat was very clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and a very kind welcome package (milk, Easter eggs - thank you!). We felt right at home. Views of the sea, comfy beds, a pool + sauna. Very good management, friendly staff and very straightforward to engage with. A nice personal touch by the owners too, with a whole guide full of fab recommendations. We will definitely be back if they’ll have us!

What a spectacular view. What a perfect position. Lovely walk into town. Great to have separate powder room downstairs. Loved that we had two private bathrooms so great to share with another couple. Rooms dark and quiet at night and bright and airy during the day. Would have loved it to be cold so we could have had a fire. This place really hits the spot.

We had a great stay at Helen’s apartment! It is in a great location (5mins walk to Cardiff Bay & 15mins walk to Cardiff Centre), has lots of space and, although on a big complex, it is very quiet & peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large dining space to enjoy meals as a big group! The only thing to be aware of if you are visiting with friends is that there are only two parking permits available (not Helen’s fault) and off road parking is quite far away &/or expensive if you have more than 2 cars. Helen is a great host. She’s really responsive to messages & gave lots of really helpful instructions for finding the property & checking in/out. She was also able to accommodate our request for 4 single beds which we were so grateful for in the heatwave!

A fantastic week spent at Otters Den. Max is a great host, the house is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean & everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool , games room & petting area is a fantastic addition & kept my family entertained for the week. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to have a relaxing week but the walks we did go on where beautiful. Max & his family are such kind hosts with the little extra touches, late check out on Easter Sunday, an egg hunt for the kids with chocolate eggs being delivered to our door, supplying us with fresh eggs & topped us up with fire wood when needed ! Communication was great, Max always replied to us within the hour. I would highly recommend Otters Den

A wonderfully peaceful lodge and super helpful host, Abi. Deceptively spacious inside and beautiful sea views from the terrace. Terrific walks right from the front door too, wouldn’t stay anywhere else on future visits!

This has to be the most eclectic house we have stayed in as a family, but it provided constant entertainment and sparked imaginations. There is lots of room inside for 9 people a dog and a baby. The separate dining area and sittings rooms allowed people to be together and have private time. The garden area available was small for a large gathering but Barry was willing to open up further garden to us on asking. The sauna was a nice touch. There were enough bathrooms and the kitchen was equipped and functional The house is old as it says in the descriptions so if you have difficulty climbing stairs it would not be for you. The layout and contents of the house are not toddler friendly. There is no onsite parking, but the car park is a short distance away. The village is quaint and the coop very near by. We can recommend the tea shop, and would recommend booking early is you want to eat in the pub next door. There are lots of walks nearby and buses to other villages.

A well positioned, clean, tidy and comfortable caravan on a fabulous site right by the beach with plenty to do. Caravan was lovely with everything we needed.

Cath and Mike were great hosts! Very friendly and chatty. Happy to respond to any queries and gave us full reign of the amenities. Their place is beautiful and the annex is lovely. Scenery is amazing and peaceful. The annex itself was clean, everything worked as it should, nice hot shower and a comfy bed. It definitely helps to have a car as there isn’t too much within walking distance, but great if you want escape for a few days! We visited the nearby spa for an afternoon and even took a trip to Cheddar gorge, but Cath and Mike were always quick to respond for any recommendations as well. Thank you both we had a lovely time!

Epic views and surroundings at The North Hill Cottages. The friendly host family has an amazing spot the perfectly situated property lifts you high above the world to a place of tranquil peace and beauty. The cottage was perfect for us and the property offered as much or as little as we wanted to do. The hosts were responsive and available, the other guests were respectable and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Lovely cosy chalet with lots of different and interesting touches eh sheep cushions, Welsh artefacts. Everything we needed was in the chalet .It was very relaxing and homely. Julie was friendly and helpful, and was quick to respond to messages.She asked us if we needed anything during our stay. Enjoyed our stay at Ty Gwyr at Gower Holiday Village. We hope to return next year.

I would recommend Middle Mews for anyone who wants to have a vacation in Exeter, it's really beautiful and comfortable house,very clean and sparkling.We really enjoyed our stay, especially the hot water tub and the sauna wooow, it's worth the money we have paid and Duncan is so helpful and attentive
