Absolutely loved our stay, this is the second time we have stayed. great location, everything you need provided. Feels like a home away from home. the whole place is beautifully decorated and the gardens are amazing, the dogs thoroughly enjoyed running around. Both hosts are very friendly and attentive. would highly recommend for a peaceful get away!

We had a lovely five night stay at Peacock Cottage. We had a car rental and used it as a home base for hiking the Exmoor Coast potion of the South West Coast Path, Minehead to Combe Martin. It was the perfect location and we really enjoyed returning home to our cozy cottage after a long day of hiking. The property is charming and what we wanted, a true country cottage. Instructions were clear for everything from parking, garbage collection, recycling, shower, laundry, etc. Absolutely loved cooking on the Aga. The area is quiet and peaceful, directly near the river. The Rockford Inn pub across the street was lovely as well.

Amazing stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Great location and super easy check-in. The host was friendly and responsive—would definitely book again!

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

Lovely , unspoilt place to stay very convenient location in Exmoor. Accommodation spacious and comfortable and very well equipped. We’ve been there quite a few times and always have a wonderful time. Would thoroughly recommend

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

we had a fantastic stay here, the signal box was gorgeous and well equipped with everything you need and more! Nice touches of shampoos and shower gels incase we'd forgotten, a bottle of fizz and a jug of milk in the fridge also! We found the property to be clean and welcoming and hot tub was excellent and clean. we thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous pet sheep that came to see us everyday 😍 The view from the property is amazing and the sunrise was to die for! we had dinner at The springer Spaniel one evening, lovely food and great cocktails!! we would easily recommend this gorgeous place and jacqui is a lovely welcoming helpful host! we hope to be back soon! We stayed here for my mums 80th birthday and it was incredible. Nikki was there to meet and greet us. I had arranged with Nikki prior to our visit to put some 80 decorations up for me and she made a lovely job. The location is so pretty and it is truly a beautiful hideaway. We arrived in the afternoon and it wasn’t long before we got into the lovely swimming pool at the back of the property. We went into the hot tub later on and sipped champagne and took in the beautiful view. Nikki was on call for all our needs and even gave us some milk as we forgot ours. The beds were very comfortable with a high power shower. The lounge is perfect for a comfy relax with your morning coffee. Couldn’t fault it .. Will definetly be back. Thanks Nikki .. for everything

Absolutely stunning place. Louise was the perfect host answering every question I asked. The pool was a great hit with us adults and of course the children. The farm tour was lovely and Louise was very understanding when my little boy had a nose bleed whilst feeding the calves. I would highly recommend a stay at The Grange!

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

We loved our trip to Goodleigh. The farm was beautiful, the stables were beautiful - the hot tub was a real treat. The kids loved the rope swing and we played many of the games. The place was just beautiful, the decor, location and comfy beds were perfect for our week away. We visited some lovely beaches (30 min drive tops), Combe Martin and Lynton/ Lynmouth were favourites of ours. We visited a recommended pub - The Black Venus Inn was amazing, food was great. A perfect week and would 100% recommend.

We stayed here for a brief getaway immediately following our wedding. It was exactly what we needed - a peaceful, comfortable property in a beautiful location to decompress. It was incredibly well equipped and was very comfortable for both us and 2 dogs. The garden is securely enclosed however it would be even better if there was also a gate for the car parking space, making the entire outdoor area dog safe. This was absolutely as described though so you shouldn’t hesitate to bring your 4 legged friends. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but it looked very well maintained as did the rest of the farm and accommodation areas. Overall a brilliant stay, would definitely return and thoroughly recommend. Thanks, Dawn!

We had such a lovely few days away at Middle Burrow Cottage. It’s in a wonderful rural location with chocolate box cottages all around. Adrian and Jo were friendly and welcoming and the barn was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The barn had everything we needed facilities wise and the cleanliness exceptional. The welcoming box allowed us to enjoy some very much appreciated homemade goodies, and also provided us with milk that we forgot, rookie mistake! The barn is very close to lots of attractions, especially the walking and historic ones. All in all a fantastic find and we would certainly recommend. Oh, and if you are invited to see their garden which they kindly allow guests to use (in addition to your own) run don’t walk…it’s absolutely stunning!

A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

If you need a sign to stay here, this is it!!! My friends and I spent our Easter weekend at Fern Cottage with Nicola and her 4 doggies. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had this stay with her. We walked in to a freshly baked Easter cake and the sweetest card ever. Everything in the house had such clear instructions and she also had a folder with all the details about the place surroundings so we never had to look for anything. We will definitely be visiting again! This place was truly so special and homely! We spent so much time in the conservatory, reading, chatting and soaking in the views. It really is the perfect getaway!

I hope this review can praise Serena and The Chauffeurs Quarters sufficiently. You will find all that you need and so much more , far more than we expected for a comfortable relaxing vacation,a home from home. Little things that set Serena apart from other host's; Bowl of water ready for our pet Gluten free welcome gift for my wife and freshly baked scones for myself with clotted cream and jam...wonderful gesture Welcome on arrival and a departure chat and wave goodbye.
