Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Ocean City

This is our fourth stay at the beach shack and as always, it was a true 5-star affair. Jennifer’s sense of design is impeccable—you will feel at home and in a constant state of chill staying here. Super serene with the bay just outside the sunroom, ultra quiet neighborhood and super comfortable furniture. Jennifer is the best communicator, reminding you pre trip, during trip and even post trip how much she values her role as a host, and YOU as her guest. Can’t wait to return this winter for a pre new years getaway, and another fun summer stay in 2026!

Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

Great place- close to beach and restaurants-

We needed a small place to stay for a few days and this was the perfect place for the two of us; it was cozy, spotless, well equipped for all that we needed and the decor was beachy which was perfect for the area. Jacob was quick and attentive to any question we had - it was so quiet and peaceful outside. It was a perfect getaway for us - we would highly recommend to anyone needing a nice, quiet place in the future. Thank you!!!

This was my second stay here, and I’ll definitely be back again! The host is consistently friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out are super easy, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The house is cozy, clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view. It’s far enough from the main part of Ocean City to feel peaceful, but just 3 minutes from all the action when you want it. There are tons of great restaurants nearby, and the host has excellent recommendations. A perfect spot for a comfortable and relaxing stay!

Cute and accommodating! The space was very clean and equipped with easy to use amenities. Truly felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed the tranquility of the outdoor space, and how conveniently located we were to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Our family came from the West Coast to visit OCMD! We had a great time, this location was perfect, a few blocks from the beach and all kinds of amenities nearby that we walked to (CVS, liquor store, Layton’s breakfast, Reel Inn). The decor was great! We loved the couches, very comfy. Master bedroom is huge, super comfy bed with a walkout to one of two balconies. Views of the bay were fun, constant entertainment watching over the docks! Beautiful boats, birds and sea creatures surrounded us. I would stay here 10/10 again!

Excellent location and host. Sonny had water, coffee, beer, and snacks in the apartment for us. Also, pamphlets and town map of things to do. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

This space is perfect for one or two people to stay in Ocean City! Brianna provided all of the essentials - microwave, mini fridge, Keurig, coffee, cups, plates, utensils. The bed was very comfortable and the space was decorated nicely. It felt like your own studio apartment. Typically, Ocean City is very busy with lots of people but the area felt secluded and safe while still allowing you to be only 1-2 minutes from Coastal Highway.

Identical to pictures! Beautiful rental in convenient location. The beach and boardwalk were easily walkable and having Fish Tales next door was convenient! My only suggestion would be is to bring an eye mask if you are a light sleeper, there are no shades on kitchen windows so it’s very bright in the early morning since it’s all connected. It helped us to get up and moving in the morning so we didn’t mind. Morgan was quick to reply to messages and a very gracious owner! We will definitely be back.

Bob was an absolutely outstanding host! He graciously welcomed my adult children, who were celebrating their graduation, and truly went above and beyond to ensure they had a fantastic stay. He was kind, accommodating, and incredibly responsive to any questions we had. The property itself was spotless, comfortable, and ideally located—everything was just as described and more. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we would gladly stay here again. Thank you, Bob, for making this special occasion unforgettable!

Michaela was great! We booked very last minute and was very accommodating to us! Place was upstairs but not a problem for us! Can get a little noisy from the neighbors/ renters. But when you are tired you will sleep!

The ideal spot for a short getaway to downtown Berlin. There is literally not a more convenient location with better amenities than Michael’s spot. The 2 bedroom 2 bath is perfect and the angled building makes for an awesome view from the bedrooms into town. Super amazing spot especially when you compare the price to other local hotels and B&Bs!

We were right at home in Michelle and Allen’s condo. They had a goodie bag for myself, my son and fiance. Very quiet, aside from the amusement park, but we enjoyed hearing everyone having fun

I had a great stay at Serafima’s place. The space was clean and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything I needed for a comfortable visit, and the setup was thoughtfully arranged. The location is excellent—close to great restaurants, and plenty of local attractions. The neighborhood felt safe and was easy to navigate. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting the area.

House was very home like. Host was very communicative which made the stay much more easier. Had very clear explanations of everything. We enjoyed ourselves, definitely.

Absolutely loved staying at Heather's property. It was peaceful, quiet and looked exactly like the photos provided. Only a quick walk away from the beach and boardwalk area. Would love to come back again!
