Stunning property, the house and pool were incredible. Loved the peacefulness of the property and the surrounding amenities….. it felt like home!!!

Beautiful home and very clean!! Fully stocked kitchen, nice linens and beds. Convenient to all attractions and Abigail is very accommodating and kind! Horses came to greet us most times in early morning and evenings which was a nice treat. Also can see the Amish horse and buggies from the house. This awesome home is located on a main highway so if a light sleeper make sure to bring a sound machine or fan. We did fine and would book with Abigail again!

This place was a wonderful gem! Right away you walk in and just feel so at peace. The hosts have done an amazing job at making the home welcoming, useable, and beautiful. They obviously can't control the birds but man were they just so nice to listen to all day. just wanted to sit on the back porch all day and listen to nature. The pool and hot tub were very clean. Instructions for various things in the the house were clear. Everything felt spotless! Anytime we had a question they were super quick to respond. We had the pleasure to meet them both at different times and are so thankful we did. They were so lovely and friendly. We appreciated their recommendations for the area as well. We stayed for two nights but definitely wish it was longer. Our kids (10 & 12) want us to go back next year! We stayed here from Canada as we came to attend the Sights and Sound theater. Definitely would recommend to others. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Dana’s home was absolutely beautiful. Not only were they super accommodating, the home itself is beautiful and the history it holds is something to treasure! A very memorable stay- highly recommended for anyone in the area! My son was in awe of their farm animals!

Our Honey Brook stay was brief but worth it. The house, yard, and surrounding town was beautiful. Chris and Claudia early on were very helpful with recommendations. When it was getting to be close to the time of our vaca their instructions were clear and well timed. I look forward to staying here again, hopefully for longer next time.

The Red Door Retreat was awesome!! The place was clean and beautiful. There is so many things to do without leaving the house. My dog loved it too :) I will definitely be back.

My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in this beautiful home. It was very spacious and very clean. It had every amenity you could possibly want. It had a beautiful family room area and plenty of seating for everyone. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The pool was absolutely beautiful, but too cold for us to use at this time. The yard was completely fenced and very private. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We hope to stay again soon!

We absolutely loved the house, and all the history that came with it. Beautiful treasures throughout the house that we much enjoyed looking at. Lighting was fabulous. Beds were comfortable and only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay! Short drive to Hershey and neighboring towns with lots to do! A+++

I feel lucky to have discovered "White Oak Retreat" for our 3-night visit to Lancaster to celebrate my son's engagement. Our group, which included four generations aged 3 to 84, all had a wonderful time. It was impeccably clean and well-stocked. We couldn't have asked for a better Stay, and Lindsay is an amazing host.

The Covered Bridge Cottage was the perfect name for the property. Everything was amazing the Bridge, the orchard, the pasture field, the beautiful tree and the sheep were priceless. The attention to all the details in the cottage were spot on. Everything was clean and well appointed. The detailed welcome binder was extremely helpful and the instructions were super clear. We were extremely impressed with hosts and the cottage.

The perfect house for a long weekend with friends. We very comfortably fit six adults and five kids (ages 5, 4, 2, 1 and 1). So well equipped for families with a crib in the master bedroom and tons of toys and games. Lots of places to hang out from the beautiful screened in porch to the open layout upstairs and game room downstairs. The location is incredible… a front yard full of horses (you’re living amongst the farms) and a very short drive to the activities we chose. Highly recommend checking out Cherry Crest Farm, Strasbourg train and Dutch Wonderland. Across the street from the house is an Amish stand with fresh baked goods and strawberries. For food, Lancaster Brewing co was fantastic as well as Speckled Hen. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay here was wonderful and this was our second time staying here. Once again a great experience. This house is very clean, tranquil and everything you need in a home they provided here. The location of this house made it so convenient to places we wanted to visit like Sight & Sound Theater, outlets, Amish tours, restaurants etc. Any questions we had Gerald would text us in a timely manner. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you again Gerald.

This place exceeded my expectations. It has an open concept once you walk in, along with a sun room you can relax in. It was very clean and the beautifully decorated.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Lancaster area! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, with great attention to detail—from the welcoming touches when we arrived to helpful local recommendations. The location was perfect: peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive from downtown Lancaster, Amish country, and all the charming shops and restaurants in the area. We especially loved sitting outside in the mornings and enjoying the quiet. Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Lancaster area. Would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was just perfect. My daughters loved the goats and chicken. Snickers was so friendly ! Super clean inside as well.

Very nice & clean place for being dog-friendly. Walkable and close to restaurants and coffee. A bit loud in the evenings but we slept fine. Great shower & lots of linens. Fit 6 of us easily - big dining table but small living room area for gathering.

Larita and Dave were extremely accommodating during our stay. We had a large group of us for a local wedding and it was the perfect place for all of us. The garage which has been converted to a hang out area with a ping pong table, couch and tv was an area that a lot of our guests enjoyed. Upon arrival we had some questions that our hosts answered very fast. The house was just as pictured and incredibly spacious and clean. Although the house is right off of a main road, it still felt like a very serene setting with a park in the back of the house and beautiful scenery. We had a great stay and would definitely book this place again if we are back in the area!

Our stay here was great! The place was clean and exactly as pictured. It was also only a 15 min drive into Lancaster city. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Elmer’s place for only one night. But it was definitely worth it and will be coming back for a longer period of time next time. We haven’t had the chance to use the firepit since it was raining. However, all the other amenities were well-kept and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Elmer is very nice and responsive host. We visited one of the restaurants she recommended (Agapē), everything was so delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The location is incredible in regards to its close proximity to DW, the outlets, and even Cherry Crest Farm. We felt very safe and my girls felt at home with the adorable children’s toys/books to play with. Our beds were comfy and the bathroom and kitchen were spotless. We had a small issue with the AC not working but Janelle & her husband resolved it with a portable unit the next day. We would come back in the fall.

Fell fortunate to find a place near enough to a church gig. Very comfortable- definitely keeping this place on the radar whenever I’m in the area again

We had a wonderful stay at Bird in Hand. The house was wonderful - beautifully decorated, clean and modern bathrooms, cozy beds and beautiful surroundings. It is located right on the Main Street so there is a good bit of traffic noice but the location is so central for everything we did - that this was a worthwhile trade off. Hope to come back again!

My family and I loved staying at Sharon’s place - the beds are comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while visiting the area with 2 kids. The Speckled Hen across the street was fantastic - great food, very convenient and we especially loved the private playground around the back. I didn’t love how busy the road was, but overall it was a pretty minor flaw. We would absolutely stay here again.
