Bungalow holiday rentals in West End

A stunning view! I came for rest and relaxation, and that is what I got. The house is modern and clean. Dalia is amazing! She can arrange anything and everything and is a wonderful cook.

What a gem. Located in very quiet but easily accessible area of the island, easy access to busier areas. The bungalow was so well designed and one of the better located ones on property, blending a good amount of privacy with airflow. Quick walk over to the pool and restaurant. Having lunch/dinner options on property was very nice for hen we didn't feel like venturing out. Pool and beach were very private and clean. Dock on property was nice to hang on and swim off of. Finally, never been big on having security around when in foreign countries, but I will say it gave us peace of mind to go through a guarded gate to get on property and to see them monitoring the property day and night. I have seen reports from the surrounding areas of some less than ideal encounters, and having the guards was a nice touch. All staff super nice. Bungalow had everything we needed, with plenty of drinkable water. Would highly recommend this spot, especially with kids.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. The host was incredibly hospitable and made sure everything I needed was available without ever being intrusive. I really appreciated the balance of feeling totally at home while still having complete privacy. All household items and amenities were readily accessible, and everything worked seamlessly throughout my stay. I will not spoil complementary treats on this review though. Great location on the island for peace and quiet. the place was great with everything you need. well kept and neat. palmetto bay is a great place with a dive shop, restaurant, pool. the only other place that is walkable is Roatan brewery which has both great beer and food. the cove restaurant on site also has great food. you won't go hungry between the two. you'll need a car if you want to explore the island or have Stephanie recommend a driver. there are excursions available and you join a dive and snorkel. already planning the next trip!

We stayed there for 4 months. The location is safe, comfortable and set for longer stays. It met and exceeded our expectations. The bedding was comfortable and all rooms have fans +screened windows for natural ventilation. The kitchen is well equipped with a rice cooker, coffee maker, air fryer, blender, good cutting knives and more. The wifi is strong and reliable. Bonus the entire compound is solar with water catchment. It was like “tree top living” amongst tropical plants and singing birds. In this setting there is a lovely pool/spa to sooth your muscles a favorite. Our hostess, Ms.Liz is friendly, knowledgeable and happy to share with her guests. The location is a little off the beaten path but if you want to experience nature it is perfect. From the casita you can walk to the “Roatan Farmer’s or to Politilly Bight and for the more intrepid explorer you can also reach Punta Gorda on foot by a dirt road along the ocean. We recommend the place and would rent there again

We had a wonderful stay! The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking whether it was sunrise or sunset, we couldn’t get enough of the scenery. It’s the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. The location was easy to find, and having accessible car parking right on site made everything so convenient, especially after long days exploring the area. The host was friendly and responsive, and the space was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views and hassle-free parking!

Ok, this place is amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s far enough away from the clubhouse and restaurant that you won’t hear it. However, it’s not like it’s a huge party scene anyway. Palmetto Bay is very relaxed. Bathrooms were very clean. ACs worked perfectly in the bedrooms. We would recommend that you get a shuttle (booked by Stephanie) and stop at the grocery before getting to the house. Crockery was all present, but you’ll want whatever spices and food. We didn’t get a car and used the same shuttle driver for our trips. If you just want to sit at a peaceful, gorgeous beach, no need to to go to the West. You can do it all from here. They have a dive shop that you can book very reasonable dives and snorkel trips to the reef, directly out from the resort. The fruit and veg guy came on Thursday, I think and you can get a whole bunch of stuff from him. Overall, this is a wonderful bungalow and would highly recommend.

Thank you for letting me and my family stay at your place! Everything was wonderful including the staff especially jose, and we were able to check in 2 hours early. The house was close to everything from the restaurants to the beach. Would recommend or go back myself.

thank you Judy for sharing your beautiful home with us. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The breeze throughout the home made it cool without the ac. laundry was definitely a plus. Breathtaking view, and the location to the beach, pool, restaurant and dive shop couldn't be beat. It felt so safe and yet private. Kudos to the ground keepers and security. my wife and I LOVED the house. It felt like we were in a tree house! The hosts could not have been more friendly! We really enjoyed the animals at the property also. Walking to/ from west end always felt safe and was enjoyable, day or night. We would 110% stay here again and hope to do so.

Awesome stay on the east end. This place had everything we needed and then some. Very comfortable and incredibly CLEAN. Misty and Matt gave us some great local recommendations. We spent one day at Camp Bay beach. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks but we did spend the mornings on the dock enjoying coffee with the sunrise. We only stayed 2 nights then went to west end to spend the rest of our trip. I would recommend more time on the east end…more relaxing, less touristy and more authentic food options.

We loved our stay in this private little space tucked away in the west end. We walked everywhere, had beach access, we’re able to cook for ourselves and save money by having a kitchen, got to know all of the kind and helpful neighbors. The roosters in the yard started very early but we actually loved the sound :) We absolutely plan to be back to Roatan and would definitely stay again!

So beautiful place , really clean with the sunset directly in front of the property. We had an amazing stay there and Shanna responds fast. It’s a quiet place 10 min from small town with restaurants and shops so you need to have a car or scooter to move.
