Located in a great neighborhood, within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping. Also close to downtown and the airport. Plenty of on street parking. Owners were communicative and responsive.

This home is a Tiki lovers dream! The pictures do NOT do the decor and the structure justice. Antique Hawaiian lamps, pics and other unique decor throughout the home. The vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and bamboo floors are lovely. Each wall in the home has louvered glass windows for a cool breeze in the evening. The poster bed in the master bedroom is very comfy. When it rains on the metal roof it is magic! The yard is beautiful, especially the planters in front that are also miniature fish ponds. A well stocked kitchen and mini bar for entertaining. The view from the loft is amazing! You can see the mountains. We spent a bit of time hanging on the railing and staring out the window. Note: The only downside….The neighbors dogs are an issue with the thin glass louvered walls of this home-not the owners fault! All dog alert hours are evening, into the night and early am hours, 15-40 minutes at a time. If barking dogs bother you, there are ear plugs. ;)

Stacey was a wonderful host and so friendly! Her place was clean, spacious, inviting, and properly aired/cooler. But Stacey is the real gem and made us feel so welcomed and right at home. Can't recommend her place enough if you're ever in the area!

Redwood House is one of our favorites so far... for us coming from So. Utah desert Redwood House and the setting and surrounding areas was paradise for us. We met Kathleen on her way out to feed the chickens super sweet lady and very knowledgeable of the area. We sat outside each morning and evening on the porch with this Big Redwood tree as our shade great way to begin and end the day. So much to do in this area, float the Russian River, Redwood Parks to explore these giants, the ocean 25 minutes away, Santa Rosa 25 minutes etc.. Absolutely recommend this Host and Redwood House!!! We can't rave enough about the Pineapple Cottage. It was beautiful, peaceful, and a great way to unwind after our super busy days exploring the East side of the island and VNP. My husband would have ate himself sick on Lychees if I let him. We made friends with geckos, the resident dogs, Lucy and Molly and of course the friendly neigbourhood duck, Frankie. Coffee in the mornings on the lanai was a dream and we slept soundly listening to the frogs every night. Thank you to Madeleine and her family - they were great hosts and brought us farm fresh eggs one day which were delicious. We want to come back and hope we are able to in the future!

Such a beautiful peaceful sanctuary… Everything was absolutely perfect, the Gorgeous flowers sitting on the dining room table overlooking the Ocean view Lani and fragrant Tuberose Lei’s Aloha the housekeeper gave to us to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary was such an extremely beautiful and special surprise for us as we walked through the door of the cottage 🥹We so dearly loved sounds of the Island frogs and birds🌺… 😉just remember, keep the lights off at night so the Roosters don’t get confused and crow because they see light. They’ll stay quite until morning light that way🐓🐣🐥🐥🐥♥️🥰

We have owned and operated a bar/restaurant for 40 years in a busy northern Wisconsin tourist town. We loved the peace and quiet of the area yet only 15-20 minutes to get supplies. Very relaxing for us. Would definitely recommend. Very well stocked and traveling with a 3 month old, the baby stuff really was handy for us.

Highly recommend this beautiful home if you are looking for a peaceful setting that is close to restaurants and the University. Host communication was great and it looked just like the pictures - was perfect for our trip to the NCAA Track Championships. Only recommendation is to bring eye shades as the skylights wake you early.

This place was an amazing value. I could not have imagined our family would have been able to stay at a nice place like this, so close to the beach, for what we paid. Eddie always responded within minutes and answered any questions I had. I had concerns our minivan would not fit in the garage but it did with just a little room to spare. Eddie was able to get us checked in a little early which was nice. The house was clean and came as advertised. I would definitely stay here in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place at an even better value.

We have stayed in many Airbnbs over the years -- Scott & Shari's place stands out for the layout, the comfort, the incredible views and the many thoughtful touches that made our stay so fabulous. Some places are difficult to settle into but this lovely home felt like staying in a friend's place where we had everything we needed and we were comfortable from the moment we opened the gate to the fully fenced yard. The house was so clean, the furniture and bedding were cozy and the ocean views were amazing. There's a great work space in the upstairs bedroom plus a desk in the main living area, and the wifi handled 2 of us working for part of the week, no problem. Scott was very communicative, offering suggestions and information before we even thought to ask. Truly a superstar host and our new favorite spot in Manzanita!

Loved our stay! The unit was perfect for our family and furry pets! The complex is in a great location...close to everything. The owner, Seda, was great to work with. Seda was proactive in communicating with us and made sure our stay was perfect. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Seda for a great stay!!!

Loved our stay. The home was relaxing and beautiful and exactly as described. There were also some nice extras, like the s'more kit, that added a homey touch. It was stocked with everything we needed. We also saw deer everyday in the meadow behind the house. Would definitely stay there again when I'm back in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion redwood getaway at Blake’s lovely home. An easy, comfortable, bright and thoughtfully appointed space, inside and out, including a separate table to set up a 1,000 piece puzzle! Blake is very responsive to all quieries. The location is great for lazy days at the river, a walk through Armstrong Woods, and an amazing meal at Hazel’s in Occidental. And if you are carnivores, don’t forget to pick up outstanding treats at Panizzeria Meat Market. If ice cream is your jam, fantastic, unusual flavors at the Bank ice cream shop and museum in Guernville

We were pleasantly surprised by this home—it truly exceeded our expectations! It was perfect for our group, especially with small kids. The house was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of indoor and outdoor toys to keep them entertained. The backyard was a highlight, with a great outdoor space, fire pits, and a relaxing hot tub. The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like bottled water, a full range of condiments for home cooking, and extra toiletries—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also super convenient, just 10–15 minutes from local attractions and about 20 minutes to downtown (without traffic). Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped home base!

Our two-week family gathering at Rudi’s was one of our most treasured holidays—a soul-deep kind of rest. The home is a haven: serene, beautifully appointed, and nestled in nature. We were the first to enjoy the newly renovated kitchen, its windows framing the forest like a painting. Mornings began with coffee strolls through the garden, following the sound of the stream through ferns and Douglas firs, ending in breakfast on the deck with glimpses of seals and otters. Days were filled with kayaking, hiking (Pike Trail was a favourite), biking, reading and simply being. The Scandinavian bedding, the comfort of every room, the scent of cedar in the air—it all exceeded expectations. Rudi, Matt, and Maia were warm, thoughtful hosts—always available, never intrusive. Sunset Cove quickly became our favourite place, more compelling than any day trip. We leave rested and grateful, already dreaming of returning.

Graham's property is lovely and well-furnished. We loved the floor to ceiling windows in the living room with an amazing view of greenery outside.

Anna Marie’s place was wonderful! I was so glad to find a dog-friendly place for our last minute vacation. Everything was clean and beautiful, the bed was large and comfortable, the beach was close and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The neighbors were also really friendly and so were their dogs! Our family and pup loved it. We wished we could have stayed longer!

This place is a hidden gem because of its location, charm and peacefulness. Michael was a great host, responsive and very accommodating. It’s a very safe location and the beauty of being on the coast makes it very relaxing. I highly recommend this accommodation.

What a great weekend. Just a short walk to an awesome part of the beach. Easy drive to the Pronto Pup and The Three Graces tide pools. So awesome with the arcade for the kids and a great separation of space to relax. Thanks Erik!

The atmosphere was both peaceful and inspiring, with plenty of space to relax and take in the stunning private environment. Everything was well-maintained, and the hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
