Boat holiday rentals in West Coast of the United States

Having the option of staying on a sailboat in a marina was absolutely wonderful since we were able to have views of the beautiful lake and 360° views of the hills in the area! The location was perfect and could’ve been within a good walk to town, although it was too hot to walk when we were there. The marina was quiet, but picked up a bit Friday afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed the clubhouse, which has a nice under covered seating area that made it a great respite from the heat. The bathrooms & showers were clean and the Harbormaster, Mark was very nice. There was a bit of confusion on the time when we arrived to check in. Chuck asked our ETA which I provided and we arrived a few minutes before then. I did not text when we arrived since I had already given our ETA, so we did wait around for a bit for him, but I think he thought we were going to text when we arrived. It wasn’t a big deal because we were enjoying the scenery in the area. We really enjoyed ourselves there!

What a fun stay!! Lana put in lots of effort to make staying in a boat really comfortable. We loved the quiet, peaceful location and the surroundings are lovely. We had a great time!

We had a great stay at the Chalet. Reading the reviews was very helpful, specifically: 1. The 5-minute uphill hike to the chalet. 2. No flushing toilet paper down the toilet; we had 2 bags in each bathroom – a "stinky" bag that we kept closed and the trash bag for regular business. 3. We brought extra garbage bags to pack out the trash and linens. 4. Bring water. There was a 5-gallon jug full of water there and we brought a 2.5 gallon jug. My family of 5 finished 7.5 gallons of water the morning we left. 5. The property is luxury for a remote island, but it certainly needs some repairs in certain areas. 6. The ATV + trailer to haul our stuff up and down was a life saver. Notes: the queen bed is pretty firm, the king bed is softer. There are sleeping masks there. Bring a washcloth if you want one. Rent kayaks for a day and paddle around the area – so beautiful! Tide pooling was amazing. Buy the Beach Combers Guide at the Homer Bookstore if you have never been before.

Beautiful home with ample amenities. The resort had many activities and the host provided beach necessities we couldn’t have brought from home. Cooking and laundry services were great, welcome book and area suggestions were very helpful. A great home base for our busy week all over the island.

What a fun experience! The stern wheeler was tastefully renovated. Really enjoyed happy hour and breakfast and meeting the others staying on the boat. Most comfortable beds on my 2 week road trip. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect place to stay while cruising through the San Juans. Laura made us feel so welcome and the story of the boat and its history made the stay even better still. Probably the most unique B&B I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. It made the perfect way to finish off our trip. Thank you Laura and Eric for a wonderful stay.

My 3 nights on the Karmon Dee were wonderful. It’s for anyone who wants to experience Sitka boat life. As a 20 year king salmon commercial fisherman, the KD felt homie and comfortable. Given the opportunity, I’d definitely book again.

We had a great Fishing Charter experience with Gerard's, boat was in good condition captain and 1st mate always on course, went home with Fresh caugth fish and a good experience. He even aranged transportation to and from Dock.

What a great spot. Fantastic sunset views of city. Roomy boat. Great Oakland location and right next to bart. We are local and rented just for a parents get away. What a score. We loved it. Comfy bed. Great host. Nice boat. Easy to park near or take bart. Easily accessible as well. Best part of Hack London Square. What a great place to visit both cities from.

Hosts Randy and Paige were simply delightful! Our stateroom was adorable, fresh and clean, reading material included, refrigerator, coffee and decorated beautifully with lots of natural light and a view of the Newport Bridge and surrounding boats in the marina! We loved every bit of the Newport Belle! Private bathroom perfectly equipped! Chef Steve’s made to order breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the kind attentive service was such a treat! The wine and appetizers provided in the evening were so generous and delicious as well. Conversations with the hosts Randy and Paige as well as the other guests was welcoming and pleasant. The Newport Belle shared spaces are spacious, full of local treasures, enjoyable soft music and quaint options for enjoying a beverage including an outdoor patio space. This was hands down the best Airbnb experience we've had in our 11 years using this platform. As much as I want to gatekeep this, it's not fair to Graham. Do you like nature, and learning a new skill, and adventure packaged in with someone who is incredibly hospitable, and knowledgable, and puts safety first? Do you want to catch crabs and spot prawns, and go kayaking, and drive a tender and sail a sail boat, and go swimming and visit cute coastal communities, while someone cooks you a meal 3 times a day? I don't even know where to start or end. This trip forever changed us. Graham, thank you for being an incredible host, teacher, and reminding me what leadership truly looks like. Thank you for putting your trust in strangers and encouraging us to learn and take the wheel.

We had an incredible stay on this private boat! The location was absolutely perfect, with stunning views of the Queen Mary and the lighthouse right from the dock. It was such a unique and memorable alternative to staying in a hotel. The surrounding area was fantastic, with so many great restaurants and bars within walking distance. But honestly, the view from the boat was so amazing that we decided to order takeout and enjoy a cozy meal right on board—it was perfect! The boat was well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the host was super responsive and helpful with all our questions. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. This experience exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind getaway!
