We had an absolutely amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, Amarentia was incredibly warm, welcoming, and thoughtful — their hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to our trip. The town is a small, peaceful gem, perfect for unwinding and taking a break from the fast pace of the CBD. There’s something so refreshing about the slower rhythm and friendly local atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely waking up to the stunning ocean view each morning — it was so calming and beautiful. We truly felt relaxed and recharged. Would definitely love to come back again!

We had the BEST weekend at Tess and Nikulas farm style home! Each couple had a stunning room, all own bathrooms and even hot water bottles for each person. Praise helped us so much with cleaning the home in the mornings, and she was great with the babies too. The house is perfectly equipped for a hot summers day, but also when the temperature drops at night there are amazing fireplaces that keep you warm! We had a weekend we will not forget with our closest friends and will be coming back many times to this home! Easy to live in and just gorgeous, we had long lazy lunches around the patio table and laughed SO much! We spent evenings around the bonfire playing games and having wine and it was just absolutely so fun yet restful as a weekend all round! Our friends could run and walk the town as they pleased. And the dogs has a blast too. Could not recommend this spot more! Thank you Tessa and Nikula for looking after us!

A house with so much character, filled with personal objects and lovely books. We had some chilly days and enjoyed the fireplace and the super cosy living room. Also the outside fireplace and oven are incredible. A place with a soul.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Whale Watch Cottage.The house has a great location,only a few steps from the beach,and there are breathtaking views from the massive picture windows in the house.The house was well-equipped and impeccably clean.

A lovely home nestled in a quiet and picturesque location — the ideal base for exploring Tulbagh and the surrounding areas. With excellent wine estates just a short drive away and Tulbagh’s rich history and charm, it’s a destination well worth visiting. A perfect spot for a peaceful and memorable escape.

The views are something special; I got to watch both the sunset and sunrise from the property, and they were absolutely stunning. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, which made the whole experience feel even more relaxing. The amenities in the house were top-notch—everything I needed was there and more. Honestly can’t complain, I loved my stay. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay at Thyme and Tide. The house was perfect for my team’s strategic planning session - lots of space to work, enough bedrooms for each of us to have some privacy and areas to chill and have meals together. The location could not have been better - we could see dolphins play in the waves from the porch! Having Tinashe around to assist with wood and coffee pods was great! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The cottage is amazing. The large table in the yard is right facing the street. All the four rooms are independent and the entire cottage is the first house on the street next to the beach, making it relatively lively and a bit noisy. The soundproofing of the rooms is relatively poor. Overall, we were happy with the stay.

Vivian is a Super Host, we really enjoyed our stay at her house. It is a very interesting house built in the 18th century. Spotlessly clean with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Vivian went out of her way to accommodate us in every possible way.

Marlon was extremely welcoming to me and my two dogs. The place was absolutely spotless, great location just steps from a beautiful beach and what really touched me was the kindness Marlon and his wife extended to after sharing with them that I was going through a rough time. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. I hope to be back soon.

We had a lovely stay at this great house. We were a family with 2 young kids and it worked perfectly for us. It’s an easy walk to lovely restaurant and had a gorgeous beach a minutes walk away. Annora was super welcoming and has a great booklet of recommendations. A great place to enjoy Paternoster from.
