Holiday rentals with beach access in West Betuwe

Small is beautiful! Appartement might be small, but well thought out. I loved being able to sit outside looking at the river. surroundings are quiet and the locals very friendly - same for Bianca who was an excellent host, approachable yet never interfering, helpful and kind, even doing wash for me. Although I had no problems with it myself, I would say the place is not advisable for small children or elderly people due to the quirky staircase to the bedroom.

Housing, in accordance with the descriptions, very well equipped, beautiful decoration, beautiful spaces, the little extra a garden lounge to enjoy the sun. Ideal location close to the center. City of character! Our host has always been very responsive, which is pro-active. We highly recommend it.

The apartment was very spacious and more than we required. Definitely good value for such a lovely space.

Very bright apartment and personally decorated + a large terrace with a very beautiful view of the canal. We were greeted by Trudy, who was very friendly. The welcome cake was also very nice. The only small disadvantage is the proximity of the road, behind the apartment.

It was really a great pleasure to stay there. The hosts were very friendly and we felt immediately like at home. Very beautiful surroundings directly near the lake. The apartment was big and very clean. A great view was opened from the balcony. I strongly recommend this place to everyone who wants to distract from big city life and spend wonderful time in the Netherlands

To get it out of the way: Our stay was consistently positive. Anja, the hostess, was on vacation herself, but we were warmly welcomed by dear Trudy – with a piece of cake, fresh flowers, chocolate and a chilled juice. The apartment is simply enchanting – tastefully furnished, very high quality and with great attention to detail. There's nothing missing. You could easily spend whole days on the balcony, looking out over the water and the many species of birds. Speaking of animals: the reception committee also included the in-house dwarf chickens and a proud rooster, who liked to put himself in the limelight. Three sheep also live on the grounds, making the rural idyll perfect. The wide landscape is enchanting, and the private jetty invites you to laze, relax, canoe, swim or even fish (VisPass required). All in all highly recommended! Shortly before our departure, we were also able to meet Anja and her husband. 5 out of 5 points

Nice place, nice cottage, everything has been thought of. Good communication with Kimmie. It's wonderful that the beds are made. Park is quite cramped, but with a wonderfully spacious backyard.

What a beautiful place! We really enjoyed our stay in Gorinchem and the beautiful bike rides through the area. The cottage was wonderful – super clean, cozy and taken care of to the last detail. So neat, in fact, that we thought we were the very first guests! (That didn't turn out to be the case, but it felt that way.) Thank you for the nice welcome and the comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful weekend! The apartment was clean and cozy, albeit a bit small – but completely sufficient for a few days. The outdoor facilities with whirlpool and sauna were a real highlight and provided pure relaxation. We especially liked the proximity to the beach - only a few meters away. The water was wonderfully clear, but there were many stones and shells on the bottom, which could be a bit unpleasant when swimming. Overall, however, a very nice stay – we will be happy to come back!

Tamara was an excellent host by welcoming us personally and explaining how things work in the house. The house was super clean and comfortable. The decor,furniture,bedding as well as the kitchen supplies were excellent.The house is spacious and in a cute little village. We enjoyed taking walks in the area. The host gave us great ideas of things to do in the area.

Atmospheric cozy house, cozy but logically arranged. Delightful, secluded large garden. Good facilities. Good contact with the administrators.

Great stay with family (x3 boys ages 9-14) Hot tub was fun. Local facilities were enjoyed, although the Donkey looked a little sad at farm. Saskia was very helpful. Lovely place to stay and very clean.
