Holiday rentals with lake access in Weeki Wachee Gardens

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience overall. The location was convenient, and the amenities provided made for a comfortable stay. However, I did notice that the cleanliness could have been improved slightly. With a little more attention to cleaning, this place would be perfect. Despite this minor issue, I still enjoyed my stay and appreciated the host's hospitality.

We had a wonderful time on our long weekend getaway to Weeki Wachee. The house was very clean and well appointed, everything we needed from extra blankets and towels to the fully stocked kitchen was there. It is located very near the Buccaneer Bay and an easy paddle to Hospital Hole. It was very comfortable and clean, plenty of room for 2 families and pets. The kids really enjoyed fishing from the deck and playing in the game room. Brianna was an excellent host. She was very responsive and provided us with plenty of recommendations. Honestly, besides paddling down the river, we never wanted to leave the house. This place is perfect for a fun family get away.

what a fantastic property in a quiet neighbourhood - it was spacious, super clean and had a fantastic outside space. the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch & dinner. lots of floats etc for the pool. we were lucky to see dolphins on 3 occasions and a manatee once, all from the floating dock. we didn't explore the area too much as it was the end of a 4 week trip so we spent all day in the pool. good communication from Ernest and we would absolutely stay again.

My family and I had an amazing time at this place, the location near the three main attractions we wanted to see was perfect, under an hour drive to Busch gardens, Clearwater Beach, and right down the block from weeki wachee. The additional amenities at the place were perfect, with our impromptu visit to the beach, having access to a umbrella, beach chairs and a wagon was perfect. Obviously the kids loved having the pool! There is also lots of bird watching. The only downfall which is out of his control, is how busy the street is out front with many cars traveling down it very fast, just something to be aware of with little ones.

We spent two months here and loved it! We were already familiar with the area and we love being on the Chaz. Having the kayaks was great, and there are plenty of paddles and life jackets. There are even two stand-up paddleboards, although we didn't use them. The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked, everything was nice and clean, and there was also plenty of sunscreen and bug spray. We used both the fire pit in the yard and the gas fire table on the deck, as well as cornhole and the ping-pong table. There are lots of board games as well for those days when you want to stay inside. The house is beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and everything was consistent with the listing. Kim and Allen were great hosts, touching base with us several times to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. We highly recommend Kim and Allen's place!

A Jewel! This house was in a great location, very clean and had everything needed for a house for the week. My husband and I brought my Mom down for Mother's Day and her Birthday. We drove from Indiana to Florida to visit with my nieces and their family. We all had a great time with the pool and the house itself. Used the kayaks and paddle boards. The guys fished a few days off the pier and we saw a dolphin one evening in the area. I will have to say this is the first house where there was actually plenty of towels and pretty much a stocked kitchen. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

This house is a perfect location on the Weeki Wachee River! It was a perfect spot for a little spring break getaway with my family of four. Comfortable living quarters and an awesome deck to enjoy the beautiful weather. The inside is a bit dated, which is why I gave 4/5 for the value. But the place is spotlessly clean and the location can't be beat. Outside: Plenty of kayaks for everyone to use and an easy dock made for a quick launch. The backyard firepit was perfect for s'mores as the sun set. Tabitha was happy to give us a late checkout (with a super speedy response) so we could enjoy one more morning on the river. Def would recommend!

Kristen's place was exactly as pictured. She was responsive in messages and made sure we had everything we needed. Her place was quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood is a bit older with some wear and tear, but Kristen's place is modern and feels like home inside. Very convenient to grocery stores and major roads.

Judith’s place was perfect for our trip to Tampa. It’s very private and peaceful and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The house is well furnished and super comfortable-especially the beds! Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mark’s place. It’s a lovely setting by a small lake. Mark was very kind and accommodating. If we had any questions, he was quick to respond. The place suited our needs very well!

Amy was a wonderful host and always available if we needed her. She made us feel right at home. Will definitely stay again when we are down there visiting.

We had a great stay! We loved the view and loved feeding the baby goats and cows! We came for a trip to check out the Weeki Wachi springs and it was about 20 minutes away, so very close. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. Brandy was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

The home is in the perfect location for this area. It is exactly as described and had all we needed. Back yard is small but enough room to sit by canal and enjoy the outdoors. Hope to go back soon.

Dave and Lindsay gave us our space, but were quick to respond when I had questions. My kids enjoyed giving the horses carrots. I would def stay here again. Highly recommend.

This is our second time renting this home because it’s so great! It’s also the perfect location for my son’s tennis training. Krista always responds quickly with any questions. One of these days I’m gonna use that beautiful backyard. Maybe when I come back in August.

Sweet, friendly and cozy neighborhood tucked off Gunn Hwy. I highly recommend walking to the lake! The house is clean and comfortable. Hosts were very helpful and responsive.

House is great, with interesting history. Space was perfect for us. We were surprised how high the ceilings are, it gave house extra space and air. Shower is very clean and BIG! Kitchen is wonderful, it has everything. Cooler with cold and hot water also was very helpful. We didn’t have to buy water in the store, just filled our water bottles in the house. We were checking in very late, at midnight. House was easy to find and no issues getting inside. We did not have any issues during our stay. Great host, excelente communication.

Brandy's place was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful morning view, cozy cabin setting, lots to explore. Close to amenities but far away enough for peace.

The cottage was just as described. Loved the peaceful parklike yard. Very much enjoyed paddling around Saddleback Lake in the paddleboats and kayaks. Really enjoyed sitting on the dock and sitting around the fire pit. Very nice peaceful neighborhood. Close to stores and shopping. Plan to stay here again when we go back to Tampa.
