Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Waverveen

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Very warm welcome from Ruud and Peter, immediate help with lifting. The house was completely as expected, and a little better. A comfortable bed, wonderfully fresh-smelling bedding and towels. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet location. Definitely worth your money .. and I'd love to come back. Thank you !!

We were traveling by bike and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly hostess. Thank you very much for this great start to the day. We felt totally comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst,but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

We had a fabulous time at tiny house,we did lots of walks (you can use there bikes if you don't like walks) everywhere is flat ,and beautiful scenery, lots of different birds. It was so easy to get to the train station,with regular on time trains,and bus service,into Amsterdam Central we only stayed 3 nights If we'd been there longer there was lots of other places to explore,Abcoud is a lovely litte town, we had food in a lovely pub it was a nice meal at reasonable prices,and it has a supermarket if you want to cater for yourself, we had perfect weather, we sat in a little private garden in the evening with a bottle of wine and watched the wildlife. Lida and Rem where a lovely welcoming couple we were very relaxed there. Lida also went out of her way to come and pick us up, and took us back to the station which was very helpful 😀.

Joost was an amazing host to me and my family! It was the first time that we were traveling abroad with our 11mo son and he made us feel right at home- even had a travel crib set up upon arrival. The location is very convenient - right above a coffee shop which Joost gives vouchers for :) very walkable and overall great space!

Ruben's sweet ground Level Flat was perfectly Situated for our 2 night stay in Amsterdam. Located literally around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and the major tram stops it was so easy to get around. The space is clean and bright. We really appreciated the quiet backyard Patio after a day of exploring Amsterdam. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described The location was perfect. We truly felt at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

It's one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in. Mirjam was very sweet and you could tell that it's her passion to make her guests feel welcomed. She went above and beyond our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. Also I cannot not mention the excellent breakfast. It was very filling and thought out. I can't see how you can rate this place anything other that 10/10.

An excellent place to stay just next to Amsterdam, great location and extremely friendly hosts !

We enjoyed our stay so much! The cottage is equipped with every comfort and feels very luxurious. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped – we enjoyed cooking there. The shower and the whole house are also comfortable and spacious. The view of the greenery was really fantastic. You'll relax right away. Every morning and often in the evening, we took a walk through the beautiful forest with special birds and deer. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Always up for a chat and we thought it was very cozy. If we liked something, we spontaneously got to taste something, so sweet and thoughtful! In short: this is an absolute must, whether you want to stay a few days or longer. We'd love to come back here again.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

The place was really perfect. Very clean, very functional. The bedding is large and very nice. A big plus for the mosquito nets that allow you to ventilate the room at night without being afraid of mosquitoes, which are surely numerous given the water points. The surroundings are absolutely charming, and extremely relaxing when returning after a busy day. Very convenient central location for visiting the surrounding cities: take the car to a P+R and then transport to the city centers. Note that the accommodations with direct access to the water are 2 and 3, not 1. We would be happy to come back, surely in one of the houses 2 or 3, even if the 1 corresponded perfectly to what we wanted. Available and pleasant host.

Yafit and Jerry’s apartment was everything we wanted and more! Such a beautiful spot and well equipped. Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the outdoor seating area after a long day of sight seeing in Amsterdam. On our first day we explored Zaandam on foot and on the bikes provided at the apartment. We visited nearby Zaanse Schans which was great! The other two days we spent sightseeing in Amsterdam which was easy to reach on the train. We loved our trip and we would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront home. The location is fantastic and the area offers many opportunities for recreation and exploration. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – their tips for excursions and activities were very valuable. The apartment itself is very luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend this place!

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

Perfectly located apartment from which you can enjoy a fantastic sunset in the evening. The beach bars are in the immediate vicinity. The center is about 15 minutes on foot. A plus point is the parking space belonging to the apartment and located on the property. We can definitely recommend the stylishly furnished beach house.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Henri our stay was very nice and the personal touch like ,fruit,beard,eggs etc in the fridge and the other personal touches in the flat made us very welcome,if we come to Amsterdam again i would definitely stay there,it was excellent.thankyou mel & henri for allowing us to share your home with us . The host filled the fridge with an unexpected treat of drinks and wine, which pleasantly surprised us. There was a lot of space in the apartment, it was generally nice. I was a little cold at night, but on hot days it will be great. You could hear the footsteps of the people living above us and how someone was using the water, because the house was built a long time ago. It's definitely a very nice garden. Very kind and helpful Host.

We were greeted personally by Remy and he showed us the apartment and explained how to operate the hot tub. He also gave us recommendations for the area. We were always able to reach him via message and he was very helpful. The apartment and jacuzzi are very private so you feel comfortable. In addition, the accommodation was super clean and pleasant accents were set by fresh flowers.
