Beach house holiday rentals in Watsonville

The copper nest was a great place to stay for our long weekend trip. It was ideally situated 30mins drive from UCSC. The beach house exceeded our expectations, and comfortably accommodated 8 guests. All aspects had been thought about by the host, from the detailed text messages pre arrival through to the prevision of supplies, saving the immediate necessity to go basic food shopping. The house was pleasantly furnished with high end product and the beds were so comfortable. The state beach (only foot steps away) was so peaceful, with barely a sole on this stretch. Both hosts were responsive to any issues or questions. Thank you

My team had a wonderful time at Stefan's place! The ocean views are magical and the house is very spacious. Incredible spot about an hour away from SF and Palo Alto. Stefan was very communicative and friendly. Check-in and check-out were simple. Very clear house rules. No complaints at all! We will definitely be back.

I can’t boast about this place enough. Holly went above and beyond to communicate with me. She gave lots of recommendations for food places. We tried Manuel’s, Venus, Pizza my Heart, and The Hideout. Hands down, hideout was my favorite! The home was BEAUTIFUL! Literally, a dream! Our kids (12 & 7) loved it too. We celebrated my son’s 7th bday there. We beached every single day! Their home was beautiful, clean, and magical. The hubby and I slept with the doors cracked open upstairs and literally fell asleep and woke up to the crashing waves. Walk across the street and you’re on the beach! It was heaven. I told my family I was depressed coming back home. HA! The backyard was darling! The lights were my favorite & I didn’t realize there was a little sandpit. Such a great gem. We were welcomed with a basket too. Filled with local bread, taffy (my fav), cookies, wine and coffee; Even with a hand written note. I can’t wait to book their home again. It was a dream. Thank you for having us!!

The house worked out great for our 3-night family gathering of 7 people. The house is well located, easy to find and near the beach. The kitchen/dining area had an adjacent seating area where we could all comfortably gather, eat and talk, which was great. One of the bedrooms was on the ground floor which worked well for elderly grandparents. The other bedrooms are all upstairs, the layout has seating areas that added a little extra privacy. We only prepared 2 meals in the kitchen during our stay and found the kitchen adequately provisioned. Half Moon Bay was a delightful destination, very relaxing beach vibe, we drove to Pescadero, got pie at Duarte's, visited to goats at Harley farm, got warm at a fire pit at the Ritz, shopped downtown and ate at a few local restaurants.

Megan’s place was perfect for our family. Everything from her being super responsive and accommodating to perfect location, spacious space with cute decor, kitchen has pretty much everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend!

Evan's place provides the best views of the ocean and is located close to multiple beach waves points. The electric bikes made for great fun, as we rode all over town. It was a great place, for a great price. A true million dollar view, especially from the decks. Highly recommend to people of all ages.

Now I want to live in Santa Cruz! This house, original and full of character and impeccably maintained, is in a fabulous location, on a large lot, near (a two minute walk) one of the better beaches, imho. Sunny Cove beach, local Bodega grocery store as well as stocked liquor store, Brewery and a significant Sunday Farmers Market are all within 1 - 5 minute walk. Killer local coffee shops are either a 3 minute drive or a 15 minute walk. We cooked a lot and enjoyed both the large front yard and private back yard area each day - the kitchen has everything you need, as does the house - think beach chairs, toys for the kids if you have, umbrella, pots and pans, etc, really it is truly well stocked. Carrie is an amazing host - never out of touch, responding to anything within minutes and proactively suggesting things too (YES to special dinner at the iconic Shadybrook, thank you again Carrie!) We will definitely be back.

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

This is a really great spot and we would definitely stay here again! Jackie was a great host and the communication was excellent throughout our trip. The beds were nice, the house was clean, and the windows allow plenty of light to come in. The house is also well stocked with plenty of coffee, a variety of cooking and glassware, some and, some spices. The hosts have also prepared the house with games, toys, and small bowls and forks for kids. The backyard is also a really nice to hangout in and has a small yard that could be a great area for kids to run around as well. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. There are also some nice restaurants, grocery stores, and cute shopping areas about a 5-10min drive away. Some areas in Santa Cruz have pretty hard water (including this spot) so if you aren't used to that grabbing some bottled water for your trip might be a good idea. We had a great time and highly recommend this spot!

The location of John's place was awesome - was able to walk to the beach, get ice cream, and coffee in the morning. Right next to the freeway, so it was super quick and easy to travel to other places nearby, like Santa Cruz.
