Tiny House: 'The Henhouse' in Geervliet

A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

We offer a cozy and attractive vacation home with all the comforts. Completely renovated and beautifully styled. You have a private entrance, a cozy place/garden, and a shed to possibly place bicycles. 800 meters from the beach and close to the dunes, a lovely place to stay. Furthermore, our vacation home is a good place to take trips from there to, for example, De Keukenhof. Leiden, Delft, The Hague and Amsterdam can also be reached by car within half an hour.

Only 15 min. to the beach of Scheveningen since the tram stops nearby. The small studio (24m2) is located on the ground floor with Wi-Fi, Smart TV, comfortable bed, private bathroom and kitchen incl. all basic kitchen supplies.

Tiny house @ sea, beach and dunes

Our cosy Tiny House is located about 400 meters from the beach. Dunes and forest at 1 km and the shopping street of Noordwijk aan Zee only 600 mtr. The accommodation was completely renovated in 2021. It is a perfect base to enjoy the nearby nature, by foot or bicycle, and it is also very centrally located for a city visit to Amsterdam, Leiden or The Hague. In the months of April and May, Noordwijk is the flourishing heart of the bulb region.

Whether you want to admire the tulip fields, sunbathe, swim, surf, surf, walk the beach and through the dunes, cycling along the coast, our stay is perfect for all seasons. The holiday home is a 3-minute walk from both the beach and dunes and the cozy center of Katwijk. With public transportation, you'll be in historic Leiden in a short time, with its museums, canals, and vibrant atmosphere. Amsterdam is also within easy reach by train.
