Holiday rentals with breakfast in Washington County

Upon arriving we reached out to Kristina, her mail box was full and we could not leave a message. We then texted her to get information about the entry code, no response was ever received. We found Laura and Tim on site, they were fabulous and we got right into our room with Lauras help. I never did get a call or message from Kristina, they said she was in California and I was in Texas. That being said, the place was great!

The Home Place is by far a better home than my own home! 😂 every inch of this place has been crafted with intention. The staff ensure a peaceful stay and a chance to connect with one’s self, nature, their herd… I felt extremely cared for and nurtured. The room accommodations are equally fantastic. Great art, clean rooms, comfortable bed, lovely community kitchen… I’ll be telling everyone about this place and the great work NL does!

My stay was truly peaceful and refreshing. The quiet surroundings created the perfect environment for rest and reflection. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, they made me feel genuinely welcome and were always available to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality added so much to the experience and allowed me to fully focus on the purpose of my visit.

Loved every moment of being at NLH. Laura was so very responsive to any needs. I don’t realize that u had to bring ur computer to b able to use tv but it was actual very nice without the noise of a tv. We sat out at firepit and got to visit with the other renters and the community kitchen was perfect to get coffee n the morning! I will stay again!!!!!

Had an amazing stay! Host was great to work with, rooms were cozy and clean, and the place was beautiful, with lots of places to be in nature. Great community room to connect with others as well. We also did the additional horse experience and had an amazing experience. Spent some time in the herd and got to spend quality time with a horse, which will stick with me. Life changing experience! Definitely recommend adding this to your stay!

Kristina was very accommodating with our last minute check in due to recent power outages. We easily found the place and enjoyed walking around the grounds. The hammocks look like the perfect place for a relaxing nap. We saw a few cardinals near the creek and lots of beautiful plants everywhere. The AC worked perfectly and the mini fridges fit quite a lot. The beds were comfy and they have plenty of amenities along with appliances in the shared kitchen in addition to various items in the kitchenettes. We're already looking forward to another stay as we really like the location since it's close to Round Top, Brenham/Chappell Hill area and Saddlehorn Winery.

Such a beautiful, serene property. Wish we could have stayed longer.

David’s place sits in an idyllic location that’s peaceful & private. The home is immaculately built with impeccable design features. The beds are super comfy and the main living space is ideal for relaxing with family. Lots to explore on the property with the 4x4. We also thoroughly enjoyed our pup greeters - Gracie & Maxwell. David was very responsive when it came to our Q’s or an issue we had during our stay. Highly recommend his home. We’ll be back next year for our antiquing adventures!

Cynthia and her daughter Peggy are great hosts at the Ross-Carrol Bed and Breakfast. The house is full of history and well maintained. Cynthia is a friendly host and excellent cook. We really enjoyed our breakfasts she prepared each day. The rooms were very nice and comfortable beds. The location is walkable to historic downtown Brenham. Lots of local restaurants and museums to visit. Highly recommend Cynthia’s place on your visit to Brenham.

We spent the weekend at this charming bed and breakfast in Brenham and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! This place & the breakfast is an absolute gem. 🏡 From the moment we arrived, Cynthia, the hostess, made us feel right at home. She went above and beyond with her warm hospitality and thoughtful touches. Her breakfasts were nothing short of amazing—perfectly cooked and so delicious! 🍳☕ The house itself is full of character, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The cozy ambiance and attention to detail made our stay so relaxing. If you’re planning a visit to Brenham, I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. 😊

Cynthia is a wonderful host! The house is gorgeous and has so many amenities as well as so many original antiques. She made us reservations for dinner at Voltare's Italian restaurant across the street and it was so delicious! The breakfast Cynthia made for us was delicious and she knows so much history about the house and the Brenham area that she shared with us. She even gave me a little homemade gift since my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I can't recommend staying here enough! It is a little slice of heaven and is a must stay.

We rented the whole house for a girls weekend. Communication with Cynthia was very easy. Cynthia gave us ideas of things to do and places to go before we got there which really helped us plan our itinerary. Not easy to deal with a gaggle of eight women in one house. Cynthia did it perfectly! She knew that shopping and sightseeing were our top priorities so she made sure that we could get out of the house quickly in the morning by providing a wonderful breakfast buffet. Happy hour was awesome as well! The food is just incredible and the accommodations top notch. We are making this an annual event. See you next year Cynthia!

This was a beautiful, historic home. Cynthia shared many interesting details as well as provided some recommendations of other things in Brenham to do and places to eat dinner. The breakfast was as delicious as well as an attractive presentation. Just so impressive. Loved the details of the house.

I had a wonderful stay at this property during the Round Top Antique Festival! The stay was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for enjoying everything the festival has to offer. It was the perfect retreat after long days of exploring. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive, making the experience even better. I’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
