Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Washington County

Thank you Jennifer and Patty for sharing such a lovely space! Finding the location of the BnB, as well as our check-in process went very smoothly. Patty, who helped us throughout our stay, showed us to our very clean and spacious room while sharing some recommendations for the area. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy Charlestown and beyond, supporting local businesses (bars, restaurants, and bait shop to rent kayaks) along the way. She even let us borrow some beach chairs! The bnb is quiet and charming, a perfect getaway for couples and families alike. So grateful for their hospitality, hope to visit soon :)

Diane and her husband were very accommodating and friendly. The space is gorgeous and easily walkable to the center of town. I will definitely be back!

Room was exactly as described, very quaint, very comfortable! The entire B&B was very quiet, no noisy guests or disruptions. Such a peaceful stay! Host is very personable and fun to talk to. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only hang up with this stay is that it is *slightly* pricey for a single room, however, the private bath was a plus and it makes sense given the area. If you have the opportunity, 11/10 stay, did not disappoint in the slightest.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location is excellent, very close to all the beaches and Watch Hill area. Marcy was very responsive and very accommodating. The place was very well stocked as well with everything you need. Highly recommend!

Diane was such a great host. She was very responsive, super friendly and so flexible. Both her and her husband were super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying with Diane and hope to stay again soon!

Fantastic location and beautiful house! The front porch and backgarden were so peaceful, we spent a lot of time relaxing there and chatting with other guests. The bathroom was newly renovated and the room was a good size with a nice view of town. Diane was super helpful and worked with us around our ferry times. The house is a short walk from the main strip of restaurants and ferry, very convenient location.

We had a lovely two nights at Jeffrey and Christine's place. We did not want to stay at a hotel and this was the perfect home and location for our travels. The meticulous care and thoughtfulness that went into preparing for guests was very apparent and the addition of a light breakfast and snacks made it feel like we were transported away to a countryside manor home in England... We were lucky to have a nice chat with Christine who filled us in on some local history and Jeffrey's furniture making craftsmanship is unsurpassed. Highly recommend.

Ann and the rest of the Blue Dory staff made our stay so enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable! The bed was super comfortable, the food was amazing, and all the staff was friendly and helpful! The location to town and access to the beach (with towels and beach chairs included) was amazing. We absolutely loved our stay with at the Blue Dory and we will be back!

The Blue Dory has an amazing at home feeling with all the perks of being on vacation. Starting with an amazing breakfast, the beach access, closeness to town and the wine / hors d’oeuvres in the afternoon. Our experience was so fabulous, I have already booked two more mini vacations in the next year.

We had the most lovely stay at Andrea’s place. Had the two-room suite with our adult daughter. It was like stepping back in time - the charm, quaintness of the cottages. No tv/wifi. Check. Ocean view. Check. Delish breakfast delivered each morning. Check. This place is an absolute gem!! Bonus - location. Surrounded by Gilded Age hotel and buildings with rolling lawn where we had drinks in Adirondacks listening to live music outdoors. Block Island is stunning as well - bluffs, beaches, unspoiled land, ponds. Just a perfect stay!! Andrea, Robin and staff were the best. Huge thank you!!

I loved this room. We arrived at 11 am (much earlier than the check in time) and were told we could leave our bags and we’d get a call when the room was ready. I had a wedding to photograph, so I arranged for a cab to pick me up at the inn at 1:30. After lunch, we went back to the inn (around 1:15) and housekeeping had just finished up our room. We weren’t expecting such an early check in and we were pleasantly surprised by it. The room was clean and comfortable. We woke up early for a beautiful sunrise that was only a two minute walk from the inn. We had breakfast at the inn, which was delicious. The blueberry muffins were amazing and the coffee was great. Every staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We had no complaints. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit the island.

Nice location ,in walking distance to the beach and towers , especially good for a one night stay to attend a nearby function(as many of the local hotels/b&b's airbnbs require a two night minimum).

We visit Gansett frequently and had watched the evolution of The Surf Shack over the last few seasons; we were excited for the chance to stay there during a friend’s recent wedding weekend. Our room and common areas looked just like the photos. We enjoyed hanging out on the shared decks. Check in and out was extremely easy - the Keycafe is so cool! The restaurant and bar were never open during the few hours we had downtime, but we look forward to trying them out later this summer.

This was the perfect stay for our weekend away (for a family wedding down the block at The Towers). This boutique hotel had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The vibes at Surf Shack were 10/10 the whole time, the staff was extremely helpful and while we didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant, the food looked incredible! We really enjoyed our time on the back patio, sipping cocktails and enjoying the gorgeous night's sky. We also found Room 3 to be a really great value when compared to other hotels in the area. The room itself, while cozy, was very well appointed and did not feel small or crowded. Everything in the room was purposeful and chic. We simply loved every aspect of our stay!!

Our stay at the Surf Shack was exactly as promised and hoped for. The location is walkable to the beach and all that Narragansett and the surrounding area has to offer. Check-in was a breeze and Sydney was very proactive with reminders and other helpful hints. The value for the price is outstanding. I highly recommend!

The cottage was as lovely as described and on beautiful grounds. Stephen welcomed us with his delicious homemade carrot cake, a bottle of bubbly and a welcome card for us and a graduation card for my son! It was all delightful! Would definitely stay here again.
