Family-friendly holiday rentals in Warrnambool

This place was convenient with last minute reservation, me and my wife and two boys was here for three day. Very convenient with everything being so close, host was very friendly and friendly, understanding. Would totally recommend this place

Perfect accommodation for a big group, the multiple bathrooms were what drew me to this place to start with. The kitchen is well equipped and clean and the big table and bench seat fits plenty of people. The location is superb with beach, playground, skatepark and hot springs all within walking distance. A great spacious garage entrance with plenty of room to leave belongings when travelling with large extended family .

Perfect location right in town, walkable to all the shops and restaurants, would happily stay again.

For the record, Kathryn and I have stayed many times in Port Fairy. We always tend to look for the same thing each time. It starts with an original stone cottage that is such a part of what makes Port Fairy so unique and special. A little slice of Tasmania in Vic. So it is with a little prior experience, I can honestly put hand on hart and say this was without doubt my favourite trip. The house was everything and more. Warm, comforting, great location and very easy walk to our favourite beach and the main streets of town covering all of your needs. Cafes, food and wine, boutiques and fresh fish off the boat. Park the car and put the keys away for your stay because you just won’t need it. I also never realised how much I love a hot tub. Perfect for a family, group of friends or in our case, just the two of us and a couple of dogs. In our little clan, when you have done or achieved something exceptional, we simply say “good job”. Good job Fiona, we honestly loved it all. OX

We had a lovely stay at The F Project accommodation in Warrnambool with our family. The house is spacious, freshly painted, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, and everything was ready for a turn-key stay. The location is also a big plus—accessible and convenient to local amenities, cafes, and shopping areas, which made getting around easy and stress-free. What makes this place truly special is that it’s part of a volunteer-run arts and community precinct. The income from this accommodation helps support their creative programs, which made our stay feel even more meaningful. Jane, who looked after us, was friendly, responsive, and genuinely kind. If you're looking for a stay that's not only clean and convenient but also contributes to a great cause, this is it. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here. The place was surrounded by beautiful gardens which we could see from every room and was frequented by lovely garden birds. We loved that. The place had a lovely open feel, the bed was super comfy and the spa bath very large and relaxing with garden views. Heaven! Toni treated us to fresh rain water which tasted divine and tamarillos from one of the trees in the garden. Thank you Toni!

My kelpie and I and some of my siblings enjoyed a brilliant stay at Tower Hill House. The home is very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed warmth from the fire which warmed the whole home in a short time. The views of the endlessly rolling sea from the verandah and the living space are wonderful. Easy drives to Port Fairy, Warrnambool and Koroit make Tower Hill an excellent destination choice and Jack enjoyed hours of free running along the beautiful beaches. Richard is a super friendly and very helpful host, I really appreciated the tips and recommendations on things to do and places to enjoy food & drink. Thank you Richard !

Had a lovely stay at Darren and Narelles. Perfect little house for a weekend away. The location was perfect to walk into town to explore the wharf, shops and cafes. Great communication from Darren and Narelle and easy access to the property. Would definitely recommend .

I had a wonderful stay here. The old cottage is cosy and sympathetically renovated with modern needs for heat and comfort in mind. My two dogs loved the big and secure backyard. A wonderful location a stone’s throw from great cafes, pubs and shops. Chris was easy to talk to and even left some drinkable water for us to use as I feel PF water is an acquired taste. A great find I’ll be back.

This is an exceptional airbnb (and we've stayed in a lot of them over 15 years). The decor is incredibly stylish and everything is comfortable and inviting. From the invitation to help ourselves to anything in the amazingly well-stocked pantry, to discovering cupboards with toys and books to keep our toddler entertained (a total godsend), Andrea created a totally comfortable home away from home. We stayed three nights but would happily have stayed longer. Port Fairy is a small but charming town. We particularly recommend visiting Blarney Books & Art, and grabbing a pizza from Coffin Sally (be sure to book ahead). I have no hesitation in recommending Andrea's place to prospective guests, and thank her so much for her warm and personalised hospitality.

Lovely location with the ocean right across the road. Super comfy beds and pillows! Big television and comfortable living area and sofa with a cosy amount of room for my kids and little dogs. Amazingly huge shower with great pressure, and both rain and additional shower head, and lovely products. I was super grateful there was pet friendly accommodation at such short notice as we weren’t sure of our plans. Jayde made it really easy to book in quickly and access the property. Thank you!

Fabulous house, really comfortable for several couples/families to stay together.

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at Glen View as a stopover during our Melbourne to Adelaide journey on the Great Ocean Road. Johanna is a truly beautiful section of the GOR where rolling green hills and farmlands meet the ocean. The cottage is delightfully laid out and well provisioned, with quality bedding and toiletries, a lovely fire-place and a shed full of wood (and reverse cycle a/c for the summer months and the impatient!) A visit to the chicken shed to collect farm fresh eggs and the orchard for some lemons was a nice treat for us suburbanites! The kitchen is fully functional with pretty much all equipment you could need, including a coffee machine. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

Had really nice stay at Johanna Seaside Cottages 'Farm House', was the perfect country escape we were looking for and the kids loved collecting fresh laid eggs in the morning and having access to an indoor heated pool. Only minor complaint was not being able to connect to the internet Friday evening and not being able contact our host after 5pm. That said, the property caretake (Ben) was super helpful when he checked in the next day. Would definitely recommend if looking for a country escape along the coast.

We have enjoyed a very peaceful week in Joanna Cottage. Despite a couple of stormy nights, we felt cozy and warm inside in front of the log fire. Such a stunning view! I loved visiting the hens for a couple of fresh eggs, and there was everything we needed inside the cottage to make for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were always available to help us with any questions. A wonderful place to stay.

The property has amazing views and if you are lucky you can catch the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Right across from the beach the house was fully equipped and had everything you would need and more. The jacuzzi was great after a long day at the beach. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful tranquil location, the cottage was warm and cosy with stunning views… loved our stay here will definitely comeback!
