Cabin holiday rentals in Warren County

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

Our stay was all good. FYI, the space is on a high 2nd floor, be sure you can handle some steps.

This home was in an ideal location for us. We easily visited family in Queenbury, Malta and Clifton Park and were just 15 minutes from Lake George. There's a Hanniford Grocery store about a mile up the road and it's conveniently located to the Northway and Route 9.

Perfect stay. The cabin looked exactly as it did in photos and from the moment we opened the door we were in awe of the cute decor and space. Literally perfect for our needs. Very quiet and peaceful. Lindsay and John were very proactive in their communication, and their guide had everything. We used it and referenced it during our stay. Very helpful. We’ll be back!

Had a great time! Super cool place to stay, very convenient location near plenty of restaurants and things to do! Had no trouble getting in and enjoying the area, plus got some great suggestions from our host. Would definitely recommend!

Very spacious and gave great Adirondack cabin vibes!

Lovely place... they did a great job inside and out. We wished we could have stayed longer. We lost cell reception while there so it was difficult to communicate with Jeff after we'd arrived but Internet worked well enough for entertainment and a little work.

This spot was amazing! My family and I had a wonderful time here. There is a difference between tidy/messy and clean/dirty, and this place was both CLEAN AND TIDY. Very few leaving rules, responsive host, comfortable, and all the amenities that were advertised were available on site (within reason, fire pit was snowed out). My clean freak family was very happy here

Second stay at this place. Engaged to my wife while staying here 4 years ago and this time we brought our 1 1/2 yr old son and sister in law. Very peaceful! The village of lake George is close enough to go to and from as often as you want effortlessly but far enough to enjoy peace. The firework shows with the echo through the mountains and across the lake are visible and audibly stunning! Ania provides everything you need for that rustic cabin experience and immediate response with any other questions. My sister in law fell in love with the location. I taught her how to fish and within 5 minutes she caught her first fish, 2 lb large mouth bass, right off the dock at the lake Ania provides. Ania provides a binder with all the local to dos anyone not familiar with the area could want but I’ll be honest, my favorite part was having nothing to do and enjoying the tranquility with my family.

Nancy is a very responsive, kind, and generous host. She maintain the place well. It is a lovely area. The stay was very enjoyable.

Very nice property with outstanding scenery and solitude yet not too far from town …

Linda’s home was exactly what we were hoping for: a cabin in the woods with all the comforts and detail one could ever imagine. Tucked away in Fort Ann, you could hear the chipmunks and squirrels rustling in the fallen leaves while enjoying the quiet sounds of nature sitting on the front porch. The home booklet was extremely helpful with outdoor suggestions as well as places to eat. Even net one of the neighbors who was filling us in on the area. We will definitely look to return to share this experience with the rest of our family. Thank you again for such an amazing fall experience.

Wonderful visit. Space was very clean and very cozy and Leah was incredibly responsive which made our stay even better. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay — the house was quiet, peaceful and on a beautiful property. Everything was comfortable and we felt right at home. Very short drive to downtown Bolton Landing or the Lake George area and tons of great hikes only minutes away. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Perfect place for the family. Close to gore mountain for skiing, quiet area on a dead end road. Place was really clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Simple check in and check out instructions. Loved it!

I was awestruck every morning and night. Being up in those clouds with my family was magical. I’m so grateful for the amazing adventure. Loveeeeee. Even though we are only moving an hour away, I’m thinking we will be back come winter and again next summer because it’s just so perfect. Our family of 5 was extremely comfortable and happy.

Cute and cozy. Short walk through their own property to gorgeous Lake Luzerne. Sweet little stream right off the deck of the A-frame. Nice place to relax, and the owners were friendly and responsive--even reaching out to let me know place was available a bit earlier. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very clean cabin inside and out. Well organized and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin and we will definitely be back

One of the few times that the pitch actually didn’t do it justice. Spectacular home , spectacular location. Quiet and serene with a beautiful view of the lake, but less than 10 minutes to everything in the area and even a hidden gem of a restaurant within a three minute walk. Will definitely return.

5/5 stay. Molly was so communicative since the beginning and provided information on nearby attractions. The cabin was beautiful and clean, and what I loved the most: the kitchen has EVERYTHING we needed to cook, bake & grill. Being able to BBQ on the patio was nice as well. The wood burning stove kept us warm and added a nice vibe to our stay. The location was secluded but 30-40 mins driving to many lakes/trails and shops, which we didn’t mind. There’s also a nearby supermarket which is convenient.

My husband, myself and pup absolutely loved our stay. It was incredibly peaceful with beautiful surroundings. It was as expected from the listing and the other reviews! But no one in the reviews mentioned certain things so I will just to help others if considering staying here (definitely stay here). Firstly if you aren’t planning on grilling all your meals I highly recommend bringing a single or double burner cooktop (like a Coleman or Eureka) and don’t forget your pots and pans (we assumed there would be at least one and there wasn’t and a round trip to purchase said pan was an hour so learn from us!). Secondly don’t forget a flashlight in case the outdoor solar lights aren’t working (they only turned on for about an hour our first night and not at all the second) and it’s very dark at night so you’ll need something when going to the outhouse. There is one provided but if there are two of you then bring one. Finally, if you cook a lot you make a lot of dishes so bring extra water!

Our family of 4 had a great stay at White Horse Ranch chalet. The chalet is spacious and cozy. We skied for two days at Gore Mtn, which only 10 mins away, played board games at the chalet at night. The chalet has great heating and hot water which is essential in the cold weather. I would definitely recommend it!

Guy was a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with. The house was easy to get into, had its own parking and was extremely clean.

We had a wonderful stay! The rental is a convenient 15-minute drive from the town of Lake George, and the water dock across the street was a great bonus. We lucked out with the beautiful weather, and enjoyed relaxing on the porch and dock.
