We absolutely loved our weekend. Beautiful house, stunning views, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Shona is great and even gave us a late checkout which was a real treat. We will be back and would highly recommend!

This is beyond a 5 star stay. Steve and Silv's place was modern, with esthetics and modern touches that pleases the eye, even in the smallest places. You are situated in such a secluded, private area, with too tier amenities like a fire pit, hot tub, and pizza oven (They even gave us fresh pizza dough!). We even got to feed their alpacas which is such a crazy experience! The sunrise and sunset views are magical. Steve and silv have an oasis here, with multiple things that you can do right as you step foot out of the property. They even have a wood shop with stunning items. Thank you Steve and Silv, we'll be back soon, I'm sure anyone reading this will say the same after they experience the magic!

We stayed for a long weekend and loved the house and the location. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s even better in person, especially the amazing views! The house was a short walk to the beach and The Cove cafe. It was very clean, tidy and well appointed. The host was very flexible and accommodating which was appreciated. I would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Airbnb right on the water’s edge. The location was absolutely stunning – peaceful, scenic, and so close to nature. Our host was super friendly and full of helpful local tips. We especially loved the walk to the nearby surf beach and grabbing a morning coffee at the local campground. A perfect spot to relax and explore!

Photos don’t do it justice! What a hidden gem. Such great value for the price. Super private and cosy, yet still close to the centre. Highly recommend ☺️

Francie’s place is a wonderful place to stay, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We loved the short walk to Ruakaka beach - one of our favourite places! Francie was a fabulous host, very responsive to communication and so kind and accomodating to our children. We had a great time even through the weather bomb. We will be back :)

Was in desperate need of an R&R away from the city bustle and Alison’s place was perfect. The retreat is cosy with a beautiful view. I enjoyed sitting on the deck with my tea, listening to birdsong. I was lucky to get clear night skies to look up at the stars from the outdoor hot tub. Such a lovely haven and would definitely want to come back. Alison also gave great local recommendations to visit the street marker in Waipu.

A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Well I must say in our opinion, this is the best spot in Mangawhai Heads, beautiful views from the unit of the beach in front. The unit is awesome, with everything you need. We stayed as a couple, but the unit has room for a family. Easy access to beach and short walk to surf beach and walking trails. Paul was excellent to deal with, great communication and direction Thanks again

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Second time I have stayed here. A nice relaxing place in the country. Perfect for a get away. Having a washing machine and dryer is always a bonus. Chocolates on arrival, a welcome treat. I found the bed perfect for my liking. Will be back again, as good location for day trips up to Bay of Islands and other surrounding areas.

Mark & Leone were great hosts --- very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Check-in process was simple and with clear instructions. The studio apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet and private, with amazing views and an almost private beach on the doorstep ----- a simple and wonderful place to relax!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Julie's place. The setting was beautiful and it felt like being in the middle of the bush. Julie is a very friendly and accommodating host and there were some lovely and thoughtful items she left inside the apartment, such as cookies for us and for our dog, muesli, yoghurt, milk and fresh fruit plus some dog poop bags etc. We met Julie and Dexter only briefly and would like to thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay - the views are amazing! Everything was easy to find and loved the little instructions throughout the place - didn't have to 2nd guess on how anything works! I also really appreciated the place being reheated for our arrival! thank you for a great two days! would stay any time again and recommend highly to others!

Thanks so much for a great stay! The lady on site was so lovely and welcoming and accommodating. The best location with everything you could need or want at arms reach! My little dog loved zooming around the yard and surrounding parks/beach. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at Gay’s pool suite. The decorations were so charming, the gardens lush, the pool so fun right outside. And Gay made a bunch of garden games available to our kids which was awesome. Everything we needed was there. It was a lovely stay.

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

The most serene beautiful location. Felt like a million miles from anywhere but best brekkie and coffee just steps from the door and a general store a couple of minutes away with everything you could need. Bed to die for, luxury linens and towels. Possibly the cleanest place EVER. thank you gavin, a perfect stay in a beautiful location.

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

My family and I really love Lorraine’s dream home,everything is perfect, far beyond my expectations.The location is the best, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the beach, and there are lots of lovely bistros and a great supermarket here, you can get all the things you need.
