Holiday rentals with beach access in Waipu

A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Absolutely loved staying at Sheenah's, the perfect spot for a solo dive weekend. This was a safe, cosy and gorgeous studio and I can't wait to come back.

Well I must say in our opinion, this is the best spot in Mangawhai Heads, beautiful views from the unit of the beach in front. The unit is awesome, with everything you need. We stayed as a couple, but the unit has room for a family. Easy access to beach and short walk to surf beach and walking trails. Paul was excellent to deal with, great communication and direction Thanks again

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

The apartment was immaculate and stylish, with beautiful views of the water. Dianne and David were welcoming and friendly and helped make our stay memorable. We enjoyed the peaceful location and look forward to staying there again.

I really loved this unit. It felt very comfortable and had everything I needed. I liked the fact that it was old school style like my childhood. Felt relaxed as soon as I walked in and everything was very clean and tidy. The view was great and I was able to walk down the steps right in front of the shared lawn to the beach down below. I was also able to walk to a local restaurant just a short distance away across the road. Very practical. I’d happily stay here again. It’s nice they had some books etc there, but I kept myself so busy walking and taking photos and visiting the area that I didn’t even get to look at my own! My plan had been to read and relax there, but I really enjoyed traveling around discovering the area. I went to Ruakaka beach for a walk, then went over to the Bream Head region and its bays. I had a look around in Whangarei and went to the Hundertwasser art museum. Thanks for a great stay!🌸

We had a great weekend at this house, the views were incredible and we loved sitting out on the deck. Lots of gorgeous spots nearby to visit. The house was reasonably well stocked and Alan was responsive to messages and sorting out any problems. Thanks for a great stay.

A great place to stay and a wonderful price of paradise! We stayed the weekend and were completely rained out... and still enjoyed our luxury escape and that's saying a lot.

Myself and two friends found Lyndsay and Maurice's place a tranquil, peaceful place to have a break and get away for a catch up. It was great to be away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland. They are the perfect hosts and we felt right at home. The three of us found the beds extra comfortable. Hilton and Luna had a great time as well. It was so therapeutic looking out at the beautiful view of the water every day. We would definitely like to stay again. Thanks again Lyndsay and Maurice.

Francie’s place is a wonderful place to stay, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We loved the short walk to Ruakaka beach - one of our favourite places! Francie was a fabulous host, very responsive to communication and so kind and accomodating to our children. We had a great time even through the weather bomb. We will be back :)

Stunning week away over Easter. We arrived a few hours after a cyclone, which meant no power and water. Anneke was great with all communication about the situation. We chose to stay hoping the power would be back on soon. The next day it was. Meanwhile, Anneke bought us wine and coffee and then arranged a generator so we could shower and charge phones etc. Then we had six glorious days of sunshine with the odd shower. We love walking, so explored all the local walks in the booklets and info guide. Every afternoon we relaxed on the deck just watching the ocean and boats. We ended our days with an outdoor bath, which was Devine. Anneke was a wonderful host. A true legend. The Bach was beautiful, clean, new and private. Highly recommend.

what a place!! the house is far back road and incredibly serene. we came with two young kids and 4 adults and there was heaps to keep us occupied. trip across the estuary with kayaks to these amazing beach breaks a particular highlight. The whole house has something for everyone and honestly think we may be back. Rebecca was also an amazing host and had loads of local knowledge to share.

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

Linda is a very responsive and helpful host and the place is very comfortable and well-equipped. Lots of little extras made us feel right at home.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay
