Amazing place to stay with our family. We loved the location, especially the access to the private beach, which was perfect for our 7 and 2 year old grandchildren. The gated community was private and beautifully maintained, we loved the lanai. The beach equipment was perfect We had a little problem accessing the property on arrival, but the owners responded immediately to resolve the issue. Thanks for an amazing vacation.

We had a great stay in Hawaii. The condo was clean and well stocked. We had a few minor issues during our stay but Kristina was extremely responsive and resolved our issues. The property is so beautiful and quiet - very family friendly. It was super nice to have the wagon, boogie boards and cooler during our stay. The back patio was delightful. Would definitely recommend.

Great Airbnb. Very clean and organized. The extras for the beach were super helpful such as towels, chairs etc. AC units worked very well at keeping it cool inside. Super cute and host was very easy to work with. We truly enjoyed our stay there!

Beautiful, serene house in the best location on the island. Well provisioned and well kept with beautifully landscaped outstanding outdoor living space. Brilliant stargazing at night. Turtles, whales, fish, geckos, birds, and a mongoose provided entertainment during the day. Quick walk to what felt like our own private beach. The provided beach chairs and wagon made it an easy trek. Convenient access to groceries at Mauna Lani (10 min), Waikoloa (15 min), and Waimea (25 min). Rental managers were responsive and helpful every step of the way. We wish we could have stayed longer!!

Great place for a family with 3 year old twins. Gate for the stairs. All sorts of beach toys. There is a pack and play for sleep. Pool was a close walk and beach a close drive or you can take the golf cart! Plenty of other beach gear, snorkels, and 2 paddle boards! Kitchen was really well appointed too. I would definitely stay here again....Only issue was confusing/funky lights and fans that came on randomly and remotes that didn't work so great.

We had an amazing time at Joe and Anna’s place! The location was ideal, tucked in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you’d want in an Airbnb. The kitchen had all the utensils and essentials for easy cooking, and the pool was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun pool toys that were already there. Joe and Anna were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. It really felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

This Airbnb makes an excellent home base for Big Island adventures. After a day at the beach, it was wonderful to come back up the hill to this beautiful, peaceful home and feel the trade winds. We didn’t use the A/C (which was available) - open windows and screen doors felt better than A/C. You can see the ocean and the beautiful tropical sunsets from the lanai. We had a multigenerational trip: grandparents, a couple, and an almost 2 year old and a 4 year old. Excellent house layout with a split floor plan and all the rooms on one level for this mixed group. The kitchen was very well supplied. Bathrooms had soap/shampoo/conditioner/toilet paper/hand soap, which was much appreciated. Nice laundry setup. Great beach supplies - coolers, snorkels, towels, chairs, umbrellas. We also used the lovely neighborhood pool, which was about a 5-10 minute drive away - not walkable, I would say. Beautiful home. We had a lovely stay at Mary’s place. The home is nestled in a lush, serene setting and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Mary and her property manager were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We loved relaxing by the pool and taking evening walks to catch the sunset over the ocean at the nearby park. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and we loved the open-air layout—it felt like a home away from home. Waking up to the sight and sounds of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom is something we’ll miss. Thank you, Mary, for graciously sharing your beautiful space with us! The memories our family made at this home are something we'll always hold dearly.

We had a great stay at Carolina and Chris’s place! The apartment is spacious, clean, and has a very well-equipped kitchen. The beach gear was super handy and the location was very convenient, with many beautiful beaches nearby. Carolina was a kind and helpful host, giving us lots of great recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and activities. The hosts live just upstairs, so you may occasionally hear some sounds from above, but it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

This place was just perfect, close to town yet away from all the noise. Definitely plan on staying here again! George was very quick to respond and a great host overall. The views of the ocean were amazing. We loved waking up and drinking our coffee on the lanai and enjoying the view. Place was comfortable and spacious.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lennis’s space, along with her thoughtfulness to the space and a being a great host. Her space is very airy, clean, and so many thoughtful details. Such as, beach accessories, many bathroom and kitchen necessities. I stay in a lot of home rentals, and I am really happy when there are items left behind for others to use, like spices, oils, condiments, and there were here. Lennis’s place was our shortest accommodation of our Hawai’i visit(unfortunately), so we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool( which is just a couple of steps away). There are so many flowers and plants on the grounds. We loved that the parking was right in front. It was nice that the condo is a single level apartment. Also, the front porch is lovely, I wouldn’t say it’s very private, but we are city people, so I didn’t mind. And it is not an active road. Stay here!

Peaceful Hale exceeded expectations! We stayed for a week with friends, using it as a base for day trips. I wish we’d stayed here longer instead of 2 nights in Volcano (though Volcano Treehouse was unique!). The outdoor showers, spacious lanai, and serene surroundings were highlights. It’s near activities yet away from big resorts. Kalia was incredibly helpful, offering advice before and during our stay. Her beautiful garden was an added treat. Mahalo for an amazing experience! Travel Tips: - Arrive early for public parking at Mauna Kea Resort beach. I lucked out going at 4PM. There can be construction noise. - Happy Hour at Seafood Bar & Grill - Waimea: Weds/Sat farmers markets; GJ’s Huli Huli chicken on Sat/Sun by Kamuela Liquor; Sandwich Isle Bread Company; get reservations for lunch/dinner at Merriman’s, get provisions at Long’s. - Great snorkeling at Beach 69, Puako Bay, and Māhukona Beach Park - Food trucks with shave ice, coffee, and malasadas are at Rt. 19 and Puako Beach Dr.

Peter and Lori are friendly and welcoming and their property is truly lovely -- it is evident that a lot of care, effort and thought goes into to maintaining it. The cottage makes a perfect home base for exploring the area. It is also so pretty and comfortable that you just might want to pick up a pizza, watch some Jeopardy and dream about what it would be like if every Friday evening was that perfect :) Thank you so much Peter & Lori!

The property is set in a lush and beautiful area and the cottage is very private and secure. The flowers and tropical landscape is everything you want in your Hawaiian vacation. The lanai is large and inviting and a wonderful space to enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the nature sounds. Sunsets through the trees are spectacular. Jane was very helpful and accessible at all times. Just a heads up. When stepping out on the lanai from the cottage, be aware of the two steps down. We highly recommend this property to anyone.

This place was exactly like described on the listing. Really enjoyed our stay here wish we could have stayed longer. The neighbors were awesome The View was pretty cool. I normally don't give five star ratings to too many places but because it was exactly like described and it was clean and it was quiet in the house. It was worth the money and it's worth the five star rating.!

We had the best time at Amy & BJ’s hale. The home is located in a wonderful neighborhood, very close to Waimea town and with breathtaking views of Mauna Kea. The home is exactly as described. It is comfortable, cozy and peaceful. We were a family of four and had more than enough space. The backyard with the fire pit was a great amenity. This home is a great option if you’re looking for a place to stay in Waimea. High recommended! Mahalo, Amy and BJ

Mollie’s Paradise was perfect for our family of four. Molly was a wonderful host, very responsive and gave us great recommendations. The house was clean a the kitchen was well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the pool and the quiet neighborhood.

Had an amazing time staying at this Airbnb near Waikōloa! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect & close to everything we enjoy but still felt peaceful. The host was responsive and super helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the apartment with four people (two couples). The accommodation is exactly as described. We felt completely at ease and the communication was great. The fantastic sunset from the terrace was a particular highlight. The whole of Kona and the surrounding area is easily accessible by car. We would love to come back. Thank you!

Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

Beautiful spacious house with any kitchen appliance you could need. Close to Waimea for easy access to town. Beach towels provided. Right on the road into town so a little noisy in the morning but quiet at night.

We had an amazing stay at David's place! I cannot say enough about the location! Easy access to the best beaches, shore access across the street, easy hop to shops and sites. Most everything, including Waimea, were within 15min. Even getting down to Kona-Kailua was fast and easy. The place was also great and excellent for families! Ample supplies (beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc) for everyone to have a great time at the beach and in the water!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable and roomy. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for all our stuff. Wonderful lanai with views of the coastline and ocean (we spent many mornings out there with our coffee enjoying the view and listening to the birds). Easy drive to local hikes and downtown Kona (with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, bakeries, etc). And good launching point for longer trips around the island. Eric and Christy are very friendly and helpful hosts. We really enjoyed their company (not to mention their lovely dog, Bean). We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
