They stay was genuinely such an incredible experience. Especially we were looking for a place that was relatively isolated but still close to the city :)

A Walk in the Bush Rural Retreat

IvanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely host and house. The property has a private bush walk, we did try it and loved it! The house itself is awesome! Beautiful, clean, and full of amenities. We don’t even need to go out anywhere and just enjoy the house. Definitely recommended place and wanted to go back here again. Thanks for the amazing experience Glenda!

Bel Tramonto Luxurious Rustic Elegance

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a very magical place- you have your own privacy, but with access to a lovely hot tub and the surrounding views are stunning. It was really rainy during my stay but I still had enough to do in that relaxing in the hot tub, and a visit to hobbiton were perfect. Highly recommend. Also the WiFi is fast for streaming and work.

The Hampton – Modern Retreat

KlaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Nicole's place is a beautiful large and spacious house in a quiet area of Matamata. Only a 15-20minute walk into the town so great for walking in for dinner. The house is spacious which was great for using as a space for getting ready for our wedding, abd had all the facilities we required.

Matamata Country B&B

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I booked this accommodation intending it to be a quick and easy stay on the evening we visited Hobbiton. It was exactly that and so much more. Kylie is The Hostess with the Mostest! Warm, friendly, welcoming, thoughtful, and generous come to mind. We wanted for nothing while there. My family of three slept in much longer than expected in what felt like a warm, cozy nest of a space. We enjoyed a remarkable number of breakfast choices. And we were welcomed to accompany Kylie as she fed the farm animals. From booking to checkout (and beyond…my husband left his wedding ring behind and Kylie generously offered to put it in the post straight away), it was not just an exceptional accommodation, it was an exceptional experience.

The Tiny Farmhouse

KateRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I can’t fault anything about our stay! Marianne was an absolute angel to communicate with and was checking in throughout to see how we were going. We loved the location, it was a little bit hard to find initially but once we did it was so easy to get inside and the space was the actually pretty big and the perfect size for a ‘tiny’ farmhouse. The views to the mountains and fields from the place was out of this world, and driving past cows to leave the property every day was a bit fun. Marianne made sure the heater was on when we arrived and left us some fresh milk and honey from the farm which was a wonderful surprise. We stayed in the middle of winter and we weren’t cold one bit, with the heater, extra blankets and towel warmer we stayed very warm! The local town Te Aroha was full of everything we needed and there were some beautiful nature walks and hikes (and waterfalls) close by. I would 100% recommend staying here to everyone!
