Holiday rentals with breakfast in Wadden Sea

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Our stay was a pleasant stay. We were with 4 adults. Ideal because there were 2 floors with 2 bathrooms, etc. All amenities were provided. Coffee, tea, spa in the fridge Etc. Pleasant beds. Very neat bathrooms. And then the breakfast. We can only say one thing about it. Most hotels can learn from this. Just a lot of fresh and tasty. In short, a very strong recommendation in our opinion. Perhaps we will come back

A lovely cottage in an unexpected green oasis. Very private with nice outside area. The sauna is a lovely extra. Very sweet that there is a breakfast in the fridge! And very nice that we are allowed to use the bikes. Good base for museums, beach and surroundings. We had a lovely weekend!

Very nice Airbnb in good location with friendly hosts. Highly recommend.

Kindest hosts you can experience

Had a perfect stay with Jessie and Johan. Communication in advance was clear and friendly and the property was exactly as described and we felt right at home there. Homely, fitting in the style of Volendam and wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was well cared for and everything was present. Absolutely recommended so for a stay in Volendam.

Overall a lovely stay in a very well located place. Kitchen was clean and had a large dishwasher which was helpful with children in tow. Full bath was lovely. Caretaker was friendly and a pleasure to work with. A really cool guy who furnished the place with personal, artistic touches. Groningen was so easy to explore on a rental bakfiets. Grocery, restaurants, parks and cultural places minutes from the apartment. Wish we had access to the washer/dryer given we were traveling with children. Bath was not operational due to a leak needing investigation through no fault of the caretakers doing, but would have made bathing children easier. Overall would highly recommend. Edwin was so friendly and oriented us during our check in. Groningen beats the bustle of the Randstad any day!

We had a lovely weekend at Annie and Jaring's place. They are very nice and service-oriented. Nice cottage and super garden to relax from our walks and excursions. Had a very tasty and extensive breakfast. Recommended and well worth it!

What a great place, to stay at. I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Also the home is very pleasant to stay, very clean, lovely views from th living room, over the pond and the fields. Very quiet location for sleeping. The breakfast is very complete with fresly baked breads and croissants. And Cathie was so kind to let us pet her horses and goats. Thank you for a very nice stay, Cathie!

Cozy, spacious house with sauna and jacuzzi. The house is cozily furnished and in a quiet location. There is plenty of space to sit outside as well.

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easy to reach. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Malo and Maarten were excellent hosts who met us on arrival and showed us around their very well-appointed and well-stocked home. Their place has everything you could possibly need or even think about needing such that we didn't even need to contact them for anything during our stay. The personal touches made it even better. We felt right at home in their beautifully designed home and were able to access the entire city easily from this location. We definitely recommend Blueprint B&B 100%!

What a nice place! We really enjoyed our stay at Ans and Anton's. Their B&B was the perfect base for the wedding we were going to. And how sweet: when it was pouring down, Anton even brought us the car! The next morning we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. We spent 4 nights at this place, and absolutely loved it! The location is in the country along a canal. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. What a gem! I highly recommended this place to others!

Impressive building, cozy bed, lots of beautiful ancient details. The location is great, once you cross the less busy road and you are in the beautiful city center. Annelies greeted us, explained the parking lot and the house. She filled the refrigerator beforehand so that we could have breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back! We had a wonderful time with Annette, Peter and Bosse. An average rating of 4.99 speaks for itself and, except for 0.01, everyone was right: a magical accommodation with 1001 beautiful details, loving, likeable and interesting hosts, a fantastic garden in which the dwarf chickens waddle across the lawn at the 5-star breakfast: if you book here, you will go home happier than you arrived. a very friendly hostess with a beautiful accommodation! very worth staying there for a few nights. beautiful hiking/biking area and nice cities nearby. but also on private property it is wonderful to stay. And then such a delicious breakfast in the morning! We enjoyed it.

I had the most lovely stay at Ina’s hut. If you’re in doubt of booking this, do not hesitate!! Lovely location close to the ocean and energising to become one with nature. Ina is the sweetest lady and an awesome cook too. I definitely hope to return to this little paradise💚

Irmi is a fantastic host and a great person. My room was exactly as per the photos and description. Irmi sent across useful information about transport in the area, and was always quick to reply to messages. Nice 20 minute walk to the local train station, with bus option also available from near the house to the station. Amsterdam centre only 20 minutes by train from there. Overall would highly recommend, thanks again for having me stay Irmi and for the lovely breakfasts!

Mark is an exceptional host and a great person. The house was like walking into design/art fairytale and it was maintained so incredibly well. Everything was so well-maintained, carefully curated and well-placed. Truly a beautiful experience to stay there.
