Cottage holiday rentals in Volterra

Davide and Annalisa's cottage was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the pictures showed. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our last week in Italy. Breakfast out on the patio with the birds chirping and surrounded by nature was a great way to start the day. Davide lit the heater for the hot tub for us and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening relaxing. Davide and Annalisa were full of good recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. The cottage is within driving distance of so much - Pisa, Florence, Siena and of course San Gimignano just to name a few. All the amenities we needed were included, the WIFI was great and the cottage was very comfortable. I would highly recommended staying here and if we are ever in the vicinity we would certainly stay here again.

Lovely, peaceful, spacious place with a kind and generous host in Simone. He met us as we arrived and used his wagon to help move our luggage into the cottage. Big rooms, lots of space, many handy supplies in the kitchen. Good shower, comfortable bed. Enough bench space in the bathroom to put your things. Simone was really helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and where to park the car. One day he made a delicious tart and bought us in half. Would recommend staying at his place.

il soggiorno a casa di sara è stato davvero molto piacevole. questa bella casa restaurata di recente si affaccia su un giardino fiorito e profumato. la cucina è attrezzata con elettrodomestici super e stoviglie di qualità. i letti sono molto comodi e la biancheria è di pregio. non manca nulla per godersi appieno la vacanza. un'altra cosa che rende speciale questo borgo è il fatto di dover lasciare la macchina e arrivare a casa piedi con una piacevole passeggiata mentre i bagagli viaggiano sul trattore guidato da Bryan. lontani dal rumore della città ho vissuto delle ore immersa nella pace e nel verde dei boschi sullo sfondo. sara e bryan sono host premurosi e accoglienti e sanno anticipare ogni desiderio. raccomando vivamente questo posto se si vogliono vivere momenti ti vero relax.

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Golly where to start - my husband and I are from New Zealand and used to peace and quiet and this is 100% what we were after. We were literally blown away from the moment we arrived and walked up the path of jasmines to sitting in the spa when it cooled off and watching the fireflies and listening to the bells ringing from the local monastery and churches. It was perfect for two people. You will need to be able to cope with a fairly tight drive in! And another word of advice is make sure you have some bug spray as it’s located in an area of rich agriculture and as such the mosquitos are about not awful but they are there.

BOOK THIS PLACE. I cannot express this enough. This beautiful place offers a true sense of peace, spectacular beauty, a fairytale like garden to walk about in the mornings with your coffee (that they provide in your kitchen), a gorgeous heated pool, a massive tennis court, extremely kind hosts, an adorable little outdoor covered area to do your laundry, and so SO SO much more. This place will transport you. You will actually feel like you’re living in a fairytale. A Tuscany fairytale. I choked and teared up on our last day because I was already missing it. It is everything you’re hoping for. I promise.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit bei Vito. Tolle Lage, super Garten und Pool. Wir könnten unsere Ruhe genießen und die Unterkunft war mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Gerne wieder.

This villa was so beautiful in a such a classic way. There were 5 of us, 2 couples in the upstairs room and one single in the pull out couch, near the kitchen. Both bathrooms are upstairs. One in the master and the other outside both rooms. We were only there two nights but wished we stayed in this region longer. The property was stunning, the pool was heaven, and the closest restaurant (4 min drive) Uscio e Bottega was the best meal I had my two weeks in Italy. (That’s obviously saying a lot). The local olive oil farm you can walk to surrounded by the sweetest Great Pyrenees’ was such a treat to find. We ended the visit with a tasting at Nittardi which is a 10 min drive from the property. It was an absolute hidden gem of a place rich with history, beautiful grounds, and amazing wine. We how to come back and stay here again’.

This casa is an absolutely spectacular place to stay when in Tuscany - I was amazed by the photos, but in real life the place is somehow even more beautiful and scenic! The hosting is absolutely faultless - we were made to feel right at home immediately with homemade treats, and every arrangement we needed was made super smoothly. Utterly perfect - this was our first introduction to Tuscany and we will remember it forever!

Een heel mooi en volledig huis met een prachtig uitzicht. Elke dag heerlijk ontbijten in het zonnetje in de tuin. Verder een prachtige omgeving om te wandelen en een prima uitvalsbasis om mooie plekken te kunnen bezoeken. Kortom een aanrader!!

The property was beautiful amd loved the scenery and friendly animals such as the donkeys and horse which greeted us each night. Serena and Mario were exellent hosts and made us feel at home at welcomed. We enjoyed a home cooked dinner with a view and breakfast. Very comfortable rustic farmhouse accomodations. Highly recommend and would love to go back as it is close to all in Tuscany.

Questa bellissima casa recentemente ristrutturata situata sulle incantevoli colline toscane è ideale per chi vuole vivere un'esperienza di tranquillità e relax in mezzo alla natura. La casa dispone di un patio esterno e di un giardino molto ampio con vista sulle colline circostanti e sulla valle con un panorama mozzafiato. Pulita, 2 grandi camere e 2 bagni, completa di tutti gli elettrodomestici e con attenzione al dettaglio in stile casa di campagna. C'è una splendida piscina in mezzo al giardino con un panorama sulle colline. Ci sono lettini prendi sole e area tavolini per un pranzo all'aperto. La casa è isolata in mezzo alla campagna e a pochi km da Pienza. Si possono fare belle camminate nella zona. Nelle vicinanze ci sono aziende agricole con wine tasting e vendita diretta di prodotti locali. Vania e suo marito sono 2 persone splendide, molto gentili e premurose nei confronti degli ospiti. Sopratutto con le nostre figlie :). Ci siamo trovati davvero bene in questo luogo speciale!

Tres Jolie maison rénovée avec goût. Grand jardin idéal pour les enfants et l’apéritif du soir, en regardant le coucher de soleil sur les montagnes au loin. Très propre et très fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un excellent séjour. La famille d’accueil est très sympathique et nous a bien conseillé sur les visites à faire et les restaurants où aller. Super

There are so many great things to say about Laura’s villa in Tuscany, it’s hard to know where to begin. The house is so beautifully designed and decorated. The area is spectacular, remote and peaceful but just 30 minutes from the heart of Siena. It was the perfect space for our family of 4. We enjoyed meals on the private patio as well as lounging by the shared pool. The air conditioning worked really well although we didn’t always need it with the cool Tuscan evening breeze. We took day trips to a nearby vineyard and an olive grove, and always looked forward to coming back to the house to enjoy both the lovely interior and incredible vistas and sunsets. I would recommend Laura’s place to anyone looking for an idyllic and comfortable Tuscan retreat!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Toskana. Die Unterkunft ist malerisch, das Haus ist liebevoll restauriert, der Pool brachte die Abkühlung in einer heißen Woche. Alles notwendige haben wir vorgefunden. Wie beschrieben: Die Unterkunft ist abgelegen, die Zufahrt mit unserem Familien-Van VW Touran aber machbar. Bitte unbedingt der Anweisung von Andrea folgen; dann ist es gut zu finden.

Heel soms kom je op een plek en ontmoet je mensen waarbij je je zo ontzettend thuis voelt en dat doen Sandra en Cristiano en hun B&B met je . Alles klopt, het uitzicht, de gastvrijheid, het huis, de lekkere dingen in de koelkast. Kortom een klein paradijsje op aarde met 2 hele bijzondere warme lieve mensen die wij al in ons hart hebben zitten. Het huisje boven op de berg staat in onze top 5 van mooiste en beste plekjes en Sandra en Cristiano op nummer 1❤️. My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and we absolutely fell in love with this place! The scenery is gorgeous, the view from the cottage did not get old! Very private setting in a peaceful neighborhood. Andrea was a fantastic host, along with the help of his lovely parents. He communicated with me at every step of the way making sure all of our needs were taken care of. Could not be happier with our stay and it made our honeymoon very special.

Wir haben zweieinhalb wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Sowohl Andrea von Be Home Services als auch insbesondere die Besitzer Nara und Nino haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren jederzeit bei Fragen erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die einsame Lage des Hauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen - man hat einen umwerfenden Weitblick und es ist trotz der Nachbarn weitestgehend sehr ruhig. Man sollte wissen, dass die nahe gelegene Villa Ulignano als Hochzeitslocation genutzt wird. An zwei Wochenenden gab es dort bis in die frühen Morgenstunden Livemusik, die zwar deutlich hörbar war, uns aber nicht übermäßig gestört hat. Erwähnenswert ist, dass die auf den Außenaufnahmen des Hauses abgebildete untere Etage nicht genutzt werden kann, sondern als Abstellraum für die Besitzer dient. Die Fahrt zum Haus ist - wie hier bereits beschrieben - recht abenteuerlich und führt einige Kilometer über unbefestigte, teils steile Wege. Wenn man langsam fährt, ist dies aber gut zu bewältigen.

Airbnb tout simplement incroyable. Le domaine est magnifique, vous pouvez admirer les magnifiques paysages de la Toscane depuis les hauteurs. Vous serez surpris de voir que ce Airbnb est encore plus beau en vrai que sur les photos. Et que dire de Concetta, une hôte toujours disponible, aussi bien pour s’assurer du confort de ses locataires que pour donner des tips sur les sorties/restaurants dans le coin. Je ne saurais que vous le recommander 👌

Wir, eine Familie mit zwei Kids im Alter 7 und 9 hatten eine wundervoll erholsame Zeit. Wir haben ca 2 Wochen dort verbracht und viele Tagesausflüge in umliegende Städte (u.a. auch Pisa, Florenz, Siena) sowie lokal gelegenere Orte unternommen. Wir hatten das kleine Cottage Haus im mitten der Anlage gebucht. Es hat alles geboten, was wir für unseren Selbstversorger-Aufenthalt gebraucht haben. Zwei Zimmer (Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten für die Kids, inkl. Klimaanlage für die heißen Sommertage, Bad mit Dusche, Wohn-Essbereich, eine gut ausgestattete und saubere Küche sowie eine gemütliche überdachte Terrasse, die fast den ganzen Tag Schatten geboten hat. Die Anlage wird sehr von der Familie gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit und eine detaillierte Broschüre, die die Gastgeberin mit viel Mühe erstellt hat, hat uns einige Highlights für die Urlaubstage gezeigt. Wir haben uns die 12 Tage über sehr wohl gefühlt und können es wärmstens empfehlen.
