Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vista

The cutest place to stay during a much needed vacation. We got there and already felt at home. So many cool plants in and out of the house and super vibey decor. We were able to use the pack n play which was so convenient. We met Jack and he offered to let us pick some passionfruit and blackberries from the plants outside and was so friendly. Will definitely be back!:)

Can't recommend Danny's place enough! The place is small but designed very thoughtfully so that you've got plenty of counterspace and room for storage. Other highlights would be that the bathroom/shower is unexpectedly spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Also, an underrated pro for Airbnb in my opinion: everything (from check-in to how to open up/arrange the murphy bed, etc) was very clearly described in the app or in a binder within the Airbnb...meaning, there was no extra back-and-forth with Danny because everything was so smooth and straightforward! 10/10.

Viktoriya was a great host and the backyard was truly an oasis! Also the beds were sooo comfortable. If we are ever back in Carlsbad we will be staying again! Cannot recommend enough:)

What a wonderful stay! Natalie was so friendly and proactive, which made us feel welcome before we even arrived. It's rare to find a place that is even better than the photos, but this was it. The entire home was immaculate, and we loved the artistic touches that made the space feel so warm and unique. We all slept so well—the beds are incredibly comfortable. It truly felt less like a rental and more like we were staying at the home of a friend with impeccable taste. And a special shout-out to your two pugs—though we never formally met them, their charming, invisible presence made for the perfect, quietest roommates and really completed the "at-home" feeling! The peaceful neighborhood and seamless process, from check-in to checkout, allowed us to truly relax. It's an ideal spot for a solo traveler or a small family of 3-4. Beautiful property to stay at and very relaxing. Hosts were accommodating; allowing us to pick right from the orchard, providing produce from animals where available (in this instance fresh eggs), and a package we needed to have delivered. Extra amenities with the outdoor bath, propane fire, and fresh beans for coffee. Excellent experience all around and had everything we needed for an extended weekend.

We loved our stay! We were provided with amenities we might need such as extra blankets, and iron, pots and pans and disposable cups. The instructions on finding the place were very clear, the space was homey and quiet.

Such a great place! I’ve stayed in a fair few good airbnbs, but this one really stood out. The location is great and the home was absolutely pristine, but what I really appreciated was that everything the house was stocked with was superior quality. I’ve never stayed in a place that did the small things so well - the pans were great, the appliances were great, the towels, the bed linens, they even had a full set of glass Tupperware and a water filter in the fridge.

Michael and Arlene are excellent hosts. Their home is beautiful, cozy, and even better than in the photos. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely love to come back. Thank you for everything!

We had a great stay at Joel and Heather’s apartment! The location is incredibly central—just minutes from the beach, shopping, and downtown, which made exploring the area super convenient. The space itself is cozy and well-kept, perfect for a solo traveler or couple. While the apartment is on the smaller side and there is some road noise from the nearby I-5, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient, well-located spot in Carlsbad.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio in Solana Beach! Highlights include the unbeatable location—just steps from Fletcher Cove Park (with beach access, picnic areas and sunsets), a few blocks from the train station and Cedros Design District (home to boutiques, cafes and the famous Belly Up music venue), and near great restaurants like Claire’s, Pizza Port, Pillbox, Lofty Coffee, Chief’s Burgers, Gelato 101 and Rustic Root. While there’s no nearby grocery store, CVS is walkable and Instacart worked well. Don’t miss the Sunday farmers market! The studio, though cozy, was well-equipped with a full kitchen, comfy bed, spacious bathroom and access to laundry and patios (the upper one has ocean views!). Our hosts were incredibly communicative and caring. Highly recommend these cute lofts for anyone wanting a true local experience in Solana Beach!!!

I stayed at Touch of Tuscany with my parents while visiting the area and it was exactly as described. Paul's place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was so nice to wake up in the morning and go outside with a cup of coffee and take in the amazing view. Paul was responsive and friendly, my parents and I felt right at home.

We absolutely loved, and would recommend Matthew's vacation rental. We have stayed in Oceanside several times for a quick get away and this lovely location is by far our favorite. We hope we will be able to return in the near future. A parking spot is right in front of the property, Matthew's check in and out instructions are clear and easy to follow, the location cannot be beat, with the ocean and private beach just steps away. The interior has everything you could possibly need, it was clean and well stocked. I personally appreciated the binoculars and decaf coffee. It was wonderful to sit outdoors and watch dolphins, seabirds, surfers, dogs happy to be on the beach, and relax to the sound of the waves. There are many great restaurants nearby, and plenty of activities and places to visit in and around town. The best part was the feeling of being in our own little private sanctuary. Thank you to Matthew for being a fantastic host!

Location, location, location. This unit is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything the Village of La Jolla has to offer, from the coves and the park to the walking trails along the bluff and all the cafes, shops, eateries and bars along the way. Well appointed space, clean and comfortable; I made use of the beach towels and sunscreen provided which was appreciated. Host was responsive which is always a plus.

This place was definitely worth it, walking distance to the beach and the pool made it a favorite for us. Paul provided lots of fun beach accessories for us to use and the condo was clean and had what you needed. The patio is nice to have breakfast on and though the sliding door was really hard to open/close Paul said they were expecting a new one. It was so nice to have a refreshing outdoor space but just a bummer that due to the landscaping project it was a lil bit loud during the daytime when coming back to recoup but that’s kinda out of anyone’s control. Overall we enjoyed our time and would stay again in the future.

Such a great place to stay. Restaurants, beach, pier all within walking distance. Within the complex pools, gym, and game room. My kids especially loved feeding the koi fish in the pond. The condo was centrally located in the complex between the game room and the pool. Sitting on the balcony you can hear the waterfall and get a peek at the ocean through the trees. Will definitely stay again!

We loved our time here! It was perfect and we were able to just walk to the golf course everyday. Hoping to stay here again next year for the NCAA championship. Thanks, Robyn!

Nick was a great host! He let us check in early to get settled, was communicative and helpful, and the apartment was everything we were looking for. I loved the location as it is very close to downtown Oceanside while still in a peaceful neighborhood. I felt very secure with the courtyard and loved the coffee shop right across the street. I would recommend staying here and plan on staying here again the next time we come down!

I cannot say enough about Leslie and Kaylie. Absolutely everything was perfect. Every I was dotted and t was crossed. Communication with them was amazing. The home was beautiful. A wonderful condo in the Omi resort.Has everything you need , fully stocked .great views out of the 2 sliders .A Walkable area in the resort and a lagoon and beaches not faraway. I enjoyed the walks in the resort and the restaurant.
