Beach house holiday rentals in Vista

We stayed at Maria's place for a very quick trip and needed room for family members. It was perfect. Maria was wonderful about communicating and I truly appreciate her flexibility with family members checking in. The place is a great set up for children, too. My five-year-old grand daughter was with us, and she has games and other things for children to do, including boogie boards for when the weather is warmer. I would love to return sometime and actually spend a few more days enjoying the area. We were there for a graduation with a fast turnaround, and to be honest, I wanted to stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s home. The proximity to the beach was amazing and Moonlight was a 10 minute walk. We appreciated all of the beach towels, chairs, toys and wagon. Close to good restaurants and overall a peaceful and friendly neighborhood.

We loved our stay! The house is very spacious and we had more than enough room for our family of 4 + 2 dogs. Great location as it is walkable to the beach and downtown. Also a great location to bike from. The hosts were wonderful! They reached out prior to our arrival with very clear and easy instructions. They also sent us some wonderful local recommendations! We will absolutely return!

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

Both Christopher and his home are great! You are a street away from the ocean, a runners and cyclists paradise location, so many shops near you and a quiet neighborhood. Such a cozy escape. The dogs also loved it from exploring the yard to a peaceful place inside to rest. We will be back!!

Place was great, walking distance to everything. Kimmy was very responsive and everything worked perfectly.

Spent 2 nights here and it was great! It was so close to the beach it was probably a <1 minute walk. It is close to the train station as well as the lively part of town. Lots of food and bars near by. Place was clean and we brought our 2 dogs and it was nice it had a front patio to hang out at. Everything was smooth checking in and out and the hosts were super kind and responsive. I would probably suggest updating some thing about the place, but other than that it was a peaceful stay. ✌️

We had a wonderful five night staying at Katie' s home. There are so many little touches that you can see the love and care she has taken for you to have a lovely stay. There was nothing we needed that we didn't find....to the point that when we brought so groceries in we purchased spices as we would normally for an air bnb...there was no need a huge selection. We enjoyed the pool and all the amenities. Our family consisted of my husband and myself, so we took one room. Our daughter, son in law and four year old grandson. As well as our other adult daughter. There was more than enough room for all. If you are considering but hesitant on price ...you won't be sorry if you do it. Her entire vibe and little touches make the experience as well. Right down to a turntable and a few great albums. Thanks for a lovely time. PS. take a moment to read her home manual, you will never be sorry, as you are staying in her home.

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and perfect for my sister and I to take our families on a vacation. Lots of space for the 4 and 6 year old girls to play and the adults to relax. Will definitely look to come back in the future!

This place was amazing! Unfortunately, we did not get to use the pool although my Grandson did get his feet wet lol as the weather did not cooperate. All the amenities were as described and then some. We only had to Contact Christine one time and she responded right away. I would definitely rent this again in the future and recommend it for anyone needing to accommodate a large group.

Great experience from booking through to departure. The rental is as good as the pictures with great ocean views and stunning sunsets. The house was very clean and tidy, has all the amenities you need (including an entertainment system) whilst respecting the open plan, minimalistic feel. Drift Vacation Homes are very easy to work with. Communication was excellent, they offer clear instructions and are very responsive. We were afforded a late checkout ($50), this made our last day more enjoyable before heading to the airport. The overall price is in keeping with other rentals in this area, in my opinion you definitely get what you pay for. We would, without hesitation, book a rental through Drift Vacation Homes in the future.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

This house is exactly as it looks on the photos, which is super refreshing! The kitchen is well stocked, we loved having outdoor dishes as well as a full set of dishes for dinners together. The pool was amazing! Very warm because of the black bottom, and the hot tub heated up in 20 minutes, allowing for tons of flexibility. The location is so close to everything, we walked to coffee and breakfast many days, as well as a quick bike ride to the Pier. Don't hesitate, this place is awesome.

We had an excellent stay here. The house was perfect for our needs and exactly as described. The little clubhouse was such a fun hangout for the kids. The pool and hot tub were clean and so refreshing after a long day in the sun. Anjali was extremely responsive to our questions and was able to help us in every situation. We felt extremely safe and enjoyed the quaint coastal neighborhood. We highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time at The Cutest Little Beach House in Carlsbad! Jen and Colin were perfect hosts. We were able to pay for an early check in to accommodate our flight arrival time, and it's always great when a host is there to greet you in person and show you the ropes. The house was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. It had all the amenities shown and everything was in good working order. The game room was so much fun and the roof top patio was relaxing with a nice view. It was so nice to have some snacks and drinks waiting for us when we arrived before we could make a grocery run, and we had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. Jen and Colin were very quick to respond to text messages, and we were given so many great restaurant recommendations based on our food preferences. They really go above and beyond as hosts, and you can't find a better house for a family with kids. Beach entrance is .5 mile walk and pretty easy to get to. I couldn't recommend it higher!

Lynn’s place was perfect. Cute little cottage with an AMAZING unobstructed ocean view. Very relaxing and lots of comfortable deck space to be outside. Lynn was great. I messaged her and asked if they had binoculars. That night Amazon delivered binoculars which were a great addition! Kit and Tyler were very fun and friendly hosts. Made us feel like they were long time neighbors while being unobtrusive. We stay in Encinitas every year and we will definitely look to return to this home.

What a great place! A gem! Walking distance to many bars, restaurants, coffee shops, bike rentals, and the beach. I’ll definitely be back!

This location is amazing! We stay in oceanside quite often to visit family and we love the ability to walk to the beach, coffee and food. The house was very clean and decorated modern with a beachy vibe. The house was stocked with eveything you will need for your stay including beach towels, beach chairs and lost of other beach necessities. We traveled with our 13 year old son and loved playing pool together every evening.We would love to stay here again next time we visit Oceanside!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and beautifully decorated, it had such a warm, welcoming feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed spending time on the balcony in the peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The home had everything we needed, with all the amenities thoughtfully provided. Jonathan was a great host, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Mark’s place was as advertised…and then some. While this was only the second AirBnB I’ve used, I was extremely impressed with the range of household items available, making it seem every possible need had been anticipated.

This place is GORGEOUS. My guests and I kept saying we wish we could live there forever! Walking location to many amazing locations, and a great price for such a newly renovated, beach view location. Thank you so much!
