Beautiful secluded house, quiet and good connection by public transport

Very lovely place to stay when you want to explore Stockholm but prefer calm time too. Felt like I was at home. Very social cat there sat with me through night and helped me to study (distraction was perhaps bigger). Would recommend it to anyone (emotional support by the cat).

I can only agree with all the other positive reviews here :) First of all, Erika and her family, including the two dogs, are wonderful people who simply make you feel at home 🧡 On the other hand, the accommodation itself is beautiful, as well as the entire surrounding area, and it is well worth exploring. I can also highly recommend the spa✨

We had a great stay, Hans is a great host quick to respond and friendly . Fishing on the lake is very good and kayak and canoe and even a boat are at disposal . The cabin have everything needed . We greatly recommend it and will happily go back .

Thank you Joanna for a lovely stay. We stayed here for 3 nights in October and it’s safe to say that the pictures do not do this place justice. The place is private and it is an excellent location with lots of activities (kayaking, paddle boarding). We enjoyed it a lot!

Pia's cabins were absolutely magical and even topped all the nice pictures. A fantastic idyll with a completely private location, calm and quiet but at the same time always something to look at with boats passing by, etc. Fresh and clean cabins with very charming decor and stunning views. The icing on the cake was definitely the wood-fired sauna and being able to walk straight out and dive in the water. A real memory of a lifetime for everyone in the family! Pia was also a great host and gave us lots of great tips. We'd definitely love to come back!

We spent a week in Erica's cottage and especially enjoyed the nature and tranquility. We even saw deer, a moose, hares and probably stags. Everything you need was available in the house and it had many small extras, for example, in the refrigerator. We also grilled and of course enjoyed the hot tub. For the arrival, Erica's description was very helpful - be sure to pay attention! We made a stop at the Eldtoma coffee shop and the navigation system led us to a completely wrong barrier....! Thank you Erica for everything!

The place was just perfect, we had a beautiful time on this dreamy island. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

Nice house and excellent contact with Daniel! We were four adults, the little guy and two dogs. A little nervous with the two-year-old on the ledges around the porch, but we could figure that out from the pictures. Both he and we loved the pancake machine! We didn't have a great weather but at least got a sunny half day on the beach - with the first bath of the year.

We had such a great time at this lovely cottage. We felt at home, the area is so quiet and yet close to a nice cafe, the sea, the grocery store, adventure swimming many hiking trails and not far into Stockholm. Ann-Kristin and Ragnar helped with everything we needed and made the stay so cozy. Thank you for everything, we would love to come back.

Extremely pleasant stay, everything we needed for a perfect forest retreat was there. Mattias went out of his way to give us helpful advice. Location also lends itself well for daytrips to Stockholm (using the commuter's train, for instance). Well recommended and would be happy to visit again!

Kjell and his family are very friendly and always available to reach out. The house is lovely with a nice garden area, close to a great swimming spot and everything you could need is available in the house. We had a great time and would definitely come again

The perfect little cabin in charming Dalarö. Our family enjoyed four peaceful days here watching our daughters play in the yard, taking evening strolls around the cute town and sipping wine with beautiful waterfront views. Pia is very helpful and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our 5 nights very much and found an accommodation that corresponded 1:1 to the description and the pictures. The house, or rather the houses, are not new, but totally fulfill their purpose. We enjoyed the view at breakfast, were in the sauna and bathed at the jetty. The fireplace is a real plus! The surroundings are super quiet, the property very large and varied. The contact with Olle was always nice, reliable and helpful. This place is just perfect for nature lovers and people who like it lonely! We will definitely be back!

This place is such a great escape from the busy traffic and tempo in Stockholm. We came for a weekend (Friday afternoon-sunday afternoon) and could easily have stayed longer. The island is quite, and the surroundings around the house is so peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the sauna, wood chopping, barbecue, and just sitting quietly by the fireplace reading/watching movies. We got there by Uber + taxi boat from Stavsnäs vinterhamn, which was smooth and convenient. Already looking forward to come back to Skärvassa!!

We had an amazing time staying at Erics airbnb. Feels like you are miles away from busy Stockholm, somewhere in the nature, but in reality your in the city super quickly. We really enjoyed the place, it was well equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen. Bed is super cozy. We'll be back :-)

Karin's place was really lovely for a relaxing couple of day trip. The cabin was quite spacious and had everything you'd want. The beaches nearby were beautiful and saw some lovely sunsets. Karin was very responsive and helpful with instructions on how to get there and places to go. Thank you!

Fredrik's cozy wooden house is nestled in a beautiful countryside in the forest and steps from the water, in an area of loosely scattered single-family homes. A 45-minute drive takes you to central Stockholm. So perfect to combine a visit to this cool city with a touch of rural Sweden. The house is equipped with everything it needs. The communication with Fredrik is pleasant and he responds quickly. The check-in was also very easy.

We’ve just spent a wonderful few days at Dan’s place. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful, with the lake at the bottom of the garden where we went swimming every day. Dan was also a perfect host - friendly, responsive and accommodating.

I had a few wonderful days with Karin. Karin is a very courteous and friendly hostess and always tries to help her guests, without ever being intrusive. The hut is away from all the hustle and bustle in a very beautiful bay and is perfect to unwind and relax. The hut has everything it needs, but no shower, which I solved with a camping shower. A supermarket is about 10 minutes by car or 50 minutes on foot. Likewise, the small old town of Stavsnäs. My tip, definitely go to the local bakery. You can sit there wonderfully and enjoy the great products. The ferry terminal can also be reached in 10 minutes. From there, you can easily take the ferry to Sandhamn. My tip is to drive during the week, as it is much more relaxed. You can easily take trips to Stockholm by bus, the stop is opposite the supermarket. I would go on vacation with Karin again at any time!

We feel very lucky to have had the chance to stay in Elizabeth and Peter‘s magical house. It is cozy, well considered and most importantly homely. The photos do not quite do it justice, with its views and changing light around a different terraces throughout the day. Swimming, boating and exploring the forests between meals and sauna was more than enough to fill our time, but exploring the local area was also wonderful. We all look forward to returning soon!
