Holiday rentals with beach access in Vimmerby Municipality

We had a great week walking with our kids in the footsteps of Astird Lindgreen. Bullerbü, Katthult, Vimmerby and Mariannelund were easily accessible. There is a nice swimming lake near the apartment. The food at Anki's cafe is highly recommended. We have experienced a lot and have recovered well at the same time thanks to the spacious apartment and the tranquility in Karlstorp. Thank you!

Super happy with our stay. The accommodation was child-friendly, well-planned and thoughtful. The hosts were helpful and nice. Walking distance to the playground and a maximum of 10 minutes' distance to Astrid Lindgren's World, which was our goal for the trip.

Prompt response from host. Quickly got help if needed. The children each received a "bysse" from the host as a gift and they also offered charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, which we did not expect. Clean and nice house with good storage. Close to ALV by car, which was our goal. Located next to Nossenbadens camping, so close to swimming if the weather allows. Nothing was heard from the campsite or the hosts. Quiet and peaceful. It was bigger in reality than in the pictures, which was a bonus. We are very pleased and will try to book ourselves again if we go back to ALV another year.

Nice apartment, spacious and clean and neat. Had all accessories. Can recommend for more. We stayed here family of five, while we were a couple of days in Astrid Lindgren's World.

We were super happy, perfect accommodation for us for our overnight stay. Easy and smooth, both to drive there and to check in and out. Nice little playground just behind so the kids could splash off after a long car ride before they went to sleep.

Wonderful cottage! We were two families with small children who stayed there over a weekend in connection with a visit to Astrid Lindgren's World. Shining clean and fresh, fully equipped cottage with everything you needed and a little more. 🌟 Elin as a host is helpful and made sure we felt welcome. Highly recommend a visit here! Excellent accommodation with fantastic surroundings! Perfect accommodation for a large family/friends. We were 6 adults and 5 kids. We were in Astrid Lindgren's world for two days and one day we walked to the nearby lake. The children played a lot of soccer. Eva and Arne responded quickly to questions and were helpful. Blockage in the drain that was quickly fixed the next morning. Listing as highly recommended.

Clean and charming accommodation in a quiet and peaceful environment, with proximity to Vimmerby's offerings as well as nature and local swimming areas. In addition to friendly treatment from Jimmy, free parking was offered next to the property, patio with barbecue, TV and board games, the possibility of casting and made beds upon arrival. Great!

This is very cozy. It has everything you need, including coffee and spices. It was clean and the location is beautiful. We enjoyed the tranquility very much. We were allowed to use the rowing boat at the nearby lake, which we liked very much. Communication with Alvida was great. She was very accessible, friendly and helpful. There was an even welcome in the kitchen waiting for us, which we were very happy about. We would gladly come back.

A lovely home and an emphasis that clearly and quickly communicates at questions, etc.

We spent 3 weeks as a family in Henning's house. We arrived by bus and train, it was no problem to get to the house. Due bus stop was nearby (from 8/19/2024 the stop for bus no. 35 will be moved further away), so we were able to make many great excursions in the area. The house was big enough for the whole family. Henning also responded to further requests. The kitchen was functional, the wifi worked well. You could still sit comfortably on the terrace until late in the evening. The kids liked the big trampoline.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful house at two lakes as a family of five with a dog. The weather was great, the terrace outside very cozy, the house has everything you need. We recovered well in nature. It was fun to swim in the lake and the place is a great starting point for activities in the archipelago of Västervik and in Vimmerby. Clear recommendation, nothing to complain about.
