Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Villelaure

Wonderful experience! Safe, clean, cozy. Well-furnished (we were able to cook full meals.) Lots of storage for our things in the bedroom and bathroom. Great shower. Good supply of towels (including washcloths which are so rare in Europe.) Absolutely private (fenced), darling lawn and garden. Matilde & Jeff live next door with their two children. They gave us complete privacy but we liked knowing they were there for us if we needed them. We especially liked parking right in front with only a step or two up to enter the cottage. We also appreciated the washing machine. Easy access to the center of the St. Remy village with its many restaurants and shops. St. Remy was ideal for visiting Avignon and Arles, both only about 30 minutes away. If we are lucky enough to return to Provence this where we will stay!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Aix-en-Provence. Le logement est très beau, bien meublé et moderne. La literie est très confortable. Tout y est pour passer un séjour paisible. Le cadre est calme et reposant. Nous y retournerons les yeux fermés !

The outside areas of the property are as comfortable as the inside. All the rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for preparing meals. There is every piece of equipment you would need. There was plenty of hot water and the fire was a lovely addition for chilly evenings. There are also lots of kitchen supplies to get you started or bathroom necessities in case you forgotten anything. The garden isn't fenced but this didn’t cause us any issues with our dogs. The protection dogs across the road are secured behind fences and didnt cause us any problems. We found them very friendly once you'd be there for a couple of days. We would definitely recommend staying here, Valerie is delightful.

We had a warm welcome from Valerie with a flexible check in. The house is spacious and beautiful and we enjoyed eating on the patio. The kitchen is well equipped for eating in. The location is wonderful with a short walk to Lourmarin with its shops, restaurants and quaint streets. We were able to go to the Friday market and made many purchases. I highly recommend this home.

Environnement calme et voisinage sympathique - Maison typique, propre et agréable pour 2 couples - Super terrasse ombragée pour les apéros - Arthur est réactif et très attentionné- Le top ! Unique petit bémol : la pression de la douche est un peu faible !

Very nice and cozy stay at Helene’s “maisonette”. She is very quick to answer and was really welcoming when we arrived. The place was and felt super clean which is always a priority for me and it was very cozy. Thank you Helene for the hospitality!

Un grand merci à Marina pour son accueil chaleureux. Nous avons passé une semaine idyllique au calme...proche de la nature...un lieu ressourçant et magique. We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. As there are several houses on the property that are rented out, we didn't find the entrance directly. However, Laurent was very friendly and was able to help us. The house is open and bright and the outdoor pool is great! The jacuzzi is a particular highlight and has the perfect temperature. If you use the cover properly, there are no negative effects. The only thing I could imagine is that people who are very sensitive to the smell of chlorine or have asthma might have some issues.

Un grand week-end heureux en famille. Merci à Frédérique de nous avoir ouvert les portes de sa belle maison où chacun a pu profiter du confort de ce lieu qui a une véritable âme. Les repas partagés sur la grande terrasse étaient un vrai plaisir et les belles et grandes chambres ont permis à chacun de se reposer ou de travailler en toute tranquillité. Petits et grands ont apprécié aussi le charmant,et somme toute paisible, village d'Ansouis. Et tous ont adoré l'environnement si agréable de la belle piscine.

Exceeded expectations. Coffee machine was also excellent. The home really has a heart and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peacful retreat that feels great for the soul. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were hotel standard. You can tell alot of love and time has been put into the furnishing and decor. Landscaping surrounds were a joy to explore, enjoyed sun bathing, a little ping pong, walking amoungst the trees with the family, exploring the orchard and lavender field followed by Rose and movie nights in the extremely comfortable living room. Ellen and Aries were incredible hosts.

We had a wonderful 11 days at this house. It looks exactly like the pictures, has everything you need, especially if you travel with kids. The trampoline and the children’s books and some toys in the house were a big plus. Communication was incredibly smooth, Gary and the team would reply right away to our messages. They were very flexible in terms of check in and even let us check out at 4pm since we had a late flight. It rained the whole time we were there and we still found it conveniently located just 20 min from Aix-en-Provence which made our stay super enjoyable. Eguilles is very small but charming. Would strongly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful experience!

Absolutely idyllic. A lot of thought has gone into making it the perfect bolt hole to explore this area. You can tell that the owners have a really good eye for design. The interior is small but perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4 if the kids don’t mind sharing (the 2nd bedroom is very small with a double bed but not much room to manoeuvre). The record player was a nice touch, and having a bluetooth speaker available was perfect as we always forget ours. There was also locally sourced wine on site at vineyard prices that you pay for later. Sophie was fast to respond to requests and super helpful. The pétanque court with seating area was our favourite place both morning and evening. We could easily walk to an amazing delicatessen (it is a must), butchers and bakery, plus there is a supermarket just a few minutes drive away. Aix en Provence is just a 15 minute drive away. Sad that we only had 4 days.

Christel’s chateau is magical - truly one of the best places in the world I’ve stayed. It’s a place of genuine privacy and relaxation that is positioned just a short stroll into Lourmarin, which has beautiful markets, restaurants, galleries, and amenities like tennis courts that we used in the mornings. From enjoying afternoons at the pool to barbecuing with other guests to resting in the cheateau’s beautiful rooms this trip was everything we hoped it would be. The home was also located a short drive from many towns worth visiting in the region. I hope someday to return here and highly recommend to others.

Every little thing was perfection! The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a country road, it was quiet and private. . Lovely farmhouse with antique details, yet modern and light. Jessie and Andy are superb hosts and responded to all questions and requests quickly. Such a lovely family with the 2 girls and two pups—fell completely in love with Tya, an English Springer Spaniel. Great location to visit all the sweet towns and villages of Provence. Would go back in a New York minute!

La maison est conforme aux photos, le jardin et la vue donnent énormément de charme à cette villa ! Mention spéciale à Laura et Anthony, qui en gèrent la location, ils sont facilement joignables, et sauront vous orienter vers les bonnes adresses aux alentours !

We loved our stay at Christelle’s home in Saint-Remy! The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, and extremely well located for exploring Provence and the Alpilles. The town of Saint-Remy was extremely charming, and the Airbnb perfectly located to explore. The home itself was spacious and had lovely outdoor space with the back yard (pool) and front patio. We would definitely come back and would recommend this place to others!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in La Petite Ruche. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön im Olivenhain und ist toll und stylisch ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Abbi und Yoann war unkompliziert und uns wurde schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Wir können die Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Our stay in Les Baux-de-Provence was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The home is perfectly situated within the village walls, offering unmatched access to the breathtaking sights of Les Baux, including the castle which is just steps away. The convenience of a dedicated parking space made arriving and exploring effortless, and being within walking distance to the incredible Carrières des Lumières was an added bonus. The apartment itself is beautiful, serene, and thoughtfully decorated. Every detail was just right, from the welcoming living area to the incredibly cozy bed, which made each night a joy. It was the perfect home base for soaking in the magic of this unforgettable village. We will definitely cherish this stay for years to come. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Environnement très calme une très jolie forêt de belle promenade avec notre animal de compagnie, un logement très agréable et très joliment agencé nous avons été très bien reçu les propriétaires sont très discret et d’une grande gentillesse nous avons passé une semaine formidable 😊

This place in eguilles is simply marvelous. In the middle of the town center, but still private and exclusive. The interiors are just so autenthic and ‘French’. The views of the wineyards, forests and village is amazing. We did morning runs through the village and the nearby pine tree forests, drank coffee at the local cafe and bought groceries at an ecological vegetable store, bought entrecôte’s at the local boucherie and fresh bread at the bakery. Highly recommend this fantastic house

I highly recommend Liz’s place for a peaceful and relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Provence. Close driving distance to some amazing villages and a lovely place to come back to at the end of a busy day walking and exploring.
