House holiday rentals in Villa San Giovanni

We had a lovely stay. The house is very comfortable, and the garden is gorgeous. Our children were able to play in the garden and swimming pool. If you want to sit a little outside the tourist hustle and bustle, and yet have all the amenities at your fingertips, this is ideal. We would like to come back.

Angela is a very dedicated host. She put together a dossier like the Yellow Pages with tips, was always available, everything organized. The house is in a quiet area, you should have a car. The shops are also within walking distance. The house itself has everything you need. Beautiful rooms, pool is also nice but I myself heated too cold, but I am also frozen, my daughter did not do that at all. We felt very comfortable.

Our stay at Casa Colonica was like a dream! Nestled at the foot of Gerace, the views of the Ionian coast were simply magical. The house and pool were immaculately maintained and spotless. It's possibly the most remarkable place to stay in Calabria with children — peaceful, spacious and giving you an elequent country feeling but very close by car to both Locri and Gerace for anything you need. Mariagrazia and Vincenzo were warm, welcoming hosts. We would absolutely love to return!

Fabio was a charming and welcoming host. He is clearly passionate about tourism and making his guests welcome and at ease. He and his family were very kind. As a sporty family we used the gym a lot ( which we had to ourselves). We would have loved an outdoor pool but knew there wasn’t one and he is now aiming to install an outdoor pool. The apartment is well air conditioned and has everything needed ( we were a family of 5) and with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Lovely robes left for us and a sun hat each Really nice touches which show that Fabio cares about making a good impression - which he did. You do need a car as the apartment is quite some way out but if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t) then the quiet was good. View of etna is lovely The balcony was particularly lovely to relax on and eat al fresco Well done Fabio

We had a wonderful time with Michela and Antonio and felt like we were with friends. Very clean accommodation with everything you need. We had the great pool to ourselves. Michela pampered us with limoncello spray, refreshing and delicious. The property is in a very quiet residential area, by car only 5 minutes from the sea. We can 100% recommend this place, we would have liked to stay longer if we come back to Milazzo, definitely go to this place. By the way, Milazzo is a beautiful town and the old town with its bars and restaurants worth a visit. Thanks for everything!!!

Incredible serene oasis. Antonio brought us eggs, fresh strawberries, and citrus galore, making sure we felt right at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Daniele's apartment is at the far end of the Naxos bay a ten minute walk from the hussle and bussle of the beaches and beach side restaurants/traffic. It sits between a couple of small, independent hotels but for us, in mid-June, was very quiet and peaceful, and with a beautiful setting overlooking well kept gardens and the sea. Not much else to add to the other positive reviews.....it's a great, well-appointed, private and quiet apartment and not a bad place from which to explore the Messina region if you have a car. We certainly recommend!

Great location near Piazza Rocco. You do need to walk down to the beach and Chianalea as the lift is out of operation. Follow Lorenzo's pictures starting in front of the Church in Piazza Rocco rather than rely on Maps. Lorenzo organised a taxi for us. Highly recommended

A perfect little villa in a truly enchanting setting! The house is located within a beautiful residence, with attention to the smallest details, quiet and very safe. The accommodation is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need, parking in front of the house for a comfortable stay. Well-maintained green areas and common services. The villa is equipped with all the garden equipment, deckchairs, chairs, and tables where you can also comfortably eat or have a good coffee, surrounded by greenery. Convenient location to reach the sea and the main attractions of the area. Owners (David and Katrin) are kind and helpful. Absolutely recommended!

We stayed with 7 friends in the house. We thought the location was ideal (a bit uphill) and the terrace was a nice extra! An ideal base to explore the region by public transportation! Clean, spacious rooms. And a supermarket nearby. Flexible checkout. Highly recommended!

Incredible views. Incredible little village 5 minutes walk away, mountain and sea views. Completely magnificent, didn't get enough. Car a must but easy to find everywhere, recommend sunkisses beach club where it was easy to park the car. The village just above had everything you can wish for, sparse with restaurants but was good enough. There was also a small shop, with an emphasis on small. The host was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Very quiet and restful accommodation, which the soul felt good from. We were one day in Taormina but longed back to the tranquility of Forza di Agro.

idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. In winter it can get cold in the house, even if in the morning the sun is shining surrounded by lemon trees. We always had power outages. It was worth the trip. 🍋🌞🍊

Alberto is a very friendly host! From the pick-up at the bus to support and questions in everyday life, he and his wife were always approachable! The apartment is very nice: always hot water, e.g. for the dishes, a working air conditioning, liquid Internet, a good hair dryer - and above all a washing machine (+ stand)! It was worth its weight in gold! I also slept well in the bed and there were enough sockets. When I asked for a vacuum cleaner, Alberto brought it over! What was very unusual for me was the loud street right next to it and the loud seagulls! For this, the apartment is really centrally located and you can reach everything on foot! It was really great that Alberto provided me with a bike! So I could also quickly cycle to the other side to the beach. I also loved the lemon tree behind the house. Otherwise, I think shower curtains should be banned. :) Thank you for everything!

The stay at Antonella & Giorgio's was wonderful. The neighborhood is beautiful and modern, perfectly equipped and sparkling clean. The area is quiet and the house is away from Taormina's hustle and bustle. Antonella & Giorgio are super nice and take care of everything, are always available, friendly and generous. We felt very, very comfortable, like with old friends and would come back anytime.

This is a hidden gem! The most beautiful house in a stunning location. Totally tranquil and amazing hosts. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We didn't arrive until night, but that was no problem. The hosts even kindly provided us with cold water and juice. The kitchen and bathroom were also well equipped and sparkling clean. Everything really worked out great. The balcony offered a great view over the rooftops of the city and was almost in the middle of it. We would definitely come back!

From the scent of Jasmine, as you enter the gate, it feels like a little Eden to come to Villa Mediterranea. Alessia and Adelio were there to greet us with smiles. Alessia plucked blood oranges, lemons, and clementines from the trees on the terrace to provide a refreshment at our arrival. This was such an amazing touch. But only the first of many during our stay. The views from the patio are just breathtaking. Perched high in a cliff top just north of Taormina center, we had a view out to the sea and to the misty mountains of the Italian mainland beyond. It is a magical place. Alessia, Adelfio, and Enza checked in with us often and provided great suggestions for things to do while we were there. The Villa is just a short 10 minute walk from the city center, but also feels a world away in its contained beauty and privacy. The pool is wonderful. It is a pleasure to lounge by it in the warm sun and then take refreshing dips to cool off. We loved this place and highly recommend it
