We were very pleased with the stay! The house was impeccable — extremely clean, organized, fragrant and with towels available for everyone. Everything was prepared with great care and affection. It exceeded our expectations and we definitely recommend it!

Wonderful Country House for Holiday in Gerês. Close to several areas of the Natural and Minho Park, cozy and in the middle of nature. Silent mountainside street overlooking the mountains, complete with everything a person may need for cooking (minus one oven, but okay). We were a couple with two small dogs that loved the fenced backyard. The week we spent there we saw from the window cows grazing and a shepherd with sheep. Even a fantastic experience to relax the city. The host was very attentive and sent many tips and the point of maps to the house, checked in smoothly, the car was parked on the front terrain without any problems.

We had a fantastic stay in Caldelas and thoroughly enjoyed the villa as our base to explore northern Portugal. It is a beautiful house in a stunning, countryside location and the views from every room in the house never got tiring! There is plenty of space in the villa for 6 people and the garden and barbecue areas are also spacious and kept very clean. The host was in regular contact and was very responsive to the odd query we had. On a day to day basis, Miss Paula was often around on the estate and offered advice and help whenever we asked for it. ‘Peolo’, the farm dog became one of our party and we all miss seeing him around every day! He was such a friendly and well behaved dog; we had no issues at all with him spending time with us when we were at the villa! Would absolutely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful location with fantastic views of the Portuguese countryside. We certainly plan on returning at some point!

Very good stay. Quiet accommodation, good location, close by car to local shops and allowing us to discover nice places and go on nice hikes in Gérés Park, all within an hour's drive maximum. Monica is a very welcoming and caring host, always ready to make our stay easier. In short, we loved it and would recommend it to everyone.

We spent 10 days at this wonderful typical Portuguese villa. The outside is exceptional: very large pool, sunbeds, large table, relaxation area, abundant fruit trees (what a pleasure to pick your oranges yourself every morning to make a good squeezed juice), large expanse of grass, hammock, and what a view from the terrace! We totally fell in love! The interior is spacious and warm. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and we had enough space for each. There are all the necessary amenities (kitchen, bathroom, garden, pool, laundry, TV, AIR CONDITIONING). Daniela leaves us with towels for the shower and others for the pool, soaps. This is really a great place to have a lovely holiday in Portugal. 20 minutes from Braga, Barcelos, less than an hour from Porto or the beach, the location is perfect. There is a supermarket 5mn away by car, cafes and restaurants too. Book soon!

Very beautiful house with a superb ceiling height and very beautiful rooms. We had a great stay, Bruno was very responsive and always there to help. We were missing some equipment to cook properly, he brought everything back to us the same evening. Thanks again for hosting us!

The house is beautiful, of a typical architecture of the villages of the north of the Iberian Peninsula, very well preserved and equipped, has all the amenities, even for a dinner with many people. Calm environment, familiar and great for pets. As the house is all walled is safe for even the most restless pets. The pool area is also fenced, good for children. Although we have been there in the winter all the spaces have some kind of heating and many covered. Alexandra is very kind and helpful, willing to help whenever we had a question about how the house works. Thank you very much Alexandra for the excellent stay you have provided us.

We were nine guests and our stay was two nights. The friendliness was commendable, there was help at any time for any questions. There was nothing missing in the house, from utensils, towels and blankets (if it was cold), everything was impeccable, clean and fragrant. They were attentive, offering souvenirs and a small basket with some regional products. The house is spacious, has everything you need and more. Well-equipped bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. It has a spectacular pool room and a living room perfect for socializing with family or friends. It also offers free Wi-Fi. We went at a perfect time to enjoy the pool, and it couldn't have been better. From the privacy to the calm that the space offers, we couldn't have been more satisfied. We were entitled to a parasol and sun loungers, and there was a barbecue area close to the pool, which we were allowed to use. I highly recommend staying at this accommodation.

Wonderful stay at the Quinta do Paco. The place is very quiet and the setting is beautiful. The house is very well equipped, the garden is wonderful with different environments and inside you can appreciate the beauty of the antique furniture and the history of the family. Pedro was very helpful and was always attentive to us. We enjoyed it very much, including our two little dogs. Highly recommended to get away and relax.

We absolutely ♥️ staying at Marilia's house, it's such a beautiful place and the house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures - 2 floors, the top floor with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, lower floor with another bathroom and the kitchen and living room. There's a great outdoors space to eat (sitting at least 12 people) and several hammocks strung up between the trees. It really is very peaceful and relaxing. The pool is fantastic - kids spent hours there, and next to the pool there's also a fusbal table, sun loungers and a hammock under a converted area. Then there's the pygmy goats, chickens, goats and pigs in a field close by. Ponte de Lima is 20 mins by car, and there's a local mini market 5 mins walk from the house if you need anything. Ask Marilia for the GPS coordinates if Google Maps isn't working (you just plug the coordinates into Google maps and that works perfectly). We would 100% stay again. Thanks Marilia and Lucinda!

The house is real actively new, well furnished and equipped well. The pool and outside area are great, and the fruit trees in the garden are a bonus. The area is quiet, great for a relaxing holiday. It is close to Braga which has nice restaurants.

Sensational spot and an amazing super host

They are two houses very close by, isolated from other neighbors. Two kitchens, good bedrooms, and a great outdoor space. Dona Paulina was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice place to relax and enjoy nature. The pool is great for summer days and the town is just a 10 minute walk distance. 2 minutes walk to the natural park. The hosts are very friendly. The house could have less decorations. Me and my family really enjoyed this stay!

Very nice stay. The villa is very nice and very well-equipped. Everything is there, everything is clean. We felt at home. The pool and outdoor area is very well maintained. We were very well received. The best part was finding homemade pie, fruit from the garden, and even a bottle of wine. We had pleasant moments with the family. I'd recommend it without a second thought.
