Beautiful accommodation, but the thing we will remember is the hospitality. We have never experienced such welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts before - they are incredible! Thanks so much for an amazing stay, especially at it was for our wedding weekend - it was very special.

A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. ❤️

Amazing Space! Perfect for a few days of rest, surrounded by nature. It's exactly like the pictures. It's really worth spending a few days here. And we couldn't ask for a better host, super available and cozy. We'll definitely come back!

We loved our stay in the Quinta do Sobreiro. It’s a great spot with loads of space for a large group or families as there is ample space and things to do on site without having to leave the property. The only downside is maybe that the kitchen is functional but it is a bit tired. Overall I would recommend especially for big groups of people including kids.

A casa do Faial is an exceptional place. A very nice house full of character, indoors and outdoors with a lovely garden and a lovely pool. A real jewel and the responsiveness and kindness of the owner comes to make up for the slightest setback. Excellent value for money.

Super cozy house and impeccable hosts! Extremely well-equipped kitchen. Optimal outdoor leisure area, with covered dining area for rainy days. Perfect home for a family getaway or even for teleworking surrounded by countryside. Optimal Internet - 3 people in constant meetings without interruptions! Where else can you stay above an actual river, where you can just step out and put in a kayak whenever you want? This unusual home, built over a centuries-old mill for monks, has tons of space and quirky touches and is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the countryside. The incessant sound of rushing water is a tranquil backdrop to this alluring getaway. The hosts were amazingly accommodating. She bought us a coffee maker we wanted and even mailed us some stuff we left at her place. And the house has everything you need for a very comfortable stay.

The house is class. It has an amazing vibe to it. It has been well lived in and oozes character. Old school property with feature style and furniture. Loads of space. Great stay in Portugal with the family. Everyone enjoyed the various outdoor games and the pool. We had a great time together. Celeste is available when you need it but remains extremely discreet.

We loved this villa! We were 8, including 2 children and 1 teenager. The house is really large and well laid out with large rooms. Special mention for the 4 bathrooms and the equipment, it was perfect. The outdoor areas are also great and the kids enjoyed the pool. For hikes in Gerês National Park, note that there is a road, so it's not possible to do this every day. That said, there are very nice tours in the area too. Communication with Diane was great too. Finally, there are very good restaurants nearby, special mention for Metropizza that we recommend.

We had the opportunity to spend a few days at Casa dos Cereais. The house for two people is huge manicured and modern. The hambience that surrounds us inside Quinta Recantos is wonderful: it has green areas, with all sorts of fruit trees, well-maintained grass and a phenomenal swimming pool. The place is very well organized and clean and taken care of. We appreciate all your kindness and availability. Recommended for a few days and relax.

Quinta do casal is a beautiful, green place, the welcome from Aurora and her team is excellent. We spent 10 days with our 21 month old son, he loved playing in the garden, having toys available and seeing the chickens every morning. The pool is beautiful, several times we had it just for us it was great. the place is well located also to go to the river beaches on foot or to visit Braga, Bom jesus, Guimaraes etc. Shops a 5 minute drive away. Excellent vacation spot, only small downside the very busy road close by. Thank you for everything Aurora.

Very beautiful villa ,in a beautiful setting with a surprising view. As described. Quiet and peaceful. Everything is available in the villa. Very warm welcome by the host. Jeremias is a very friendly,caring and caring person. Despite our situation, he was very compassionate,a man with a big heart . I'd recommend it without a second thought. Thank you and see you soon
