Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Victoria & Alfred Waterfront

Of all the places I have stayed, and there are many, this place was by far the most spectacular. It is literally a jewel in Cape Town, well worth the price. The hosts are responsive, friendly and considerate. The two story home is absolutely unbelievable and palatial. I cannot recommend this rental highly enough. The community is safe and secure, and the locals are very friendly. Don't hesitate to book this place. It's absolutely stunning.

This was our first trip to Cape Town but did have feedback from my daughter who is studying there. The Gardens neighborhood worked well because of its central location. Unfortunately the city is car dependent so plan on lots of Ubering - always a car within 2 minutes - even vans! The mall down the street was a blessing - pharmacy, 2 grocery stores and a bunch of other stuff. The home was so perfect for a group of 7 - probably the best was the large open living space that gave way to a work space at the dining room table, cooking space galore in the kitchen, comfy couches to watch the French Open from and then a napping window that is super cozy. There is a great outdoor table and rooftop deck but due to timing and some weather did not spend a lot of time there - but the invitation of both spaces quite charming. Would stay there without hesitation next trip if over 4 travelers!

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

Michael was a great host! His place was insanely beautiful, I only wish I could have stayed longer! I'll definitely be back in the future!!!

We had an amazing time at Jochen's House in Cape Town! This was our second visit, and once again, everything was perfect. We especially enjoyed the stunning rooftop view and the relaxing jacuzzi. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay!

Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Their hospitality was unmatched—thoughtful touches were everywhere, from a personalized welcome note to a curated list of local recommendations. The home itself is absolutely luxurious and immaculate. Everything looked brand new, and the space was spotless—you can tell cleanliness is a top priority here. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, with tasteful decor that balanced comfort and elegance. We especially loved the upgraded amenities—high-end kitchen appliances, a plush memory foam mattress. It’s clear that a lot of care and investment went into making this place exceptional.

Please note that the gate intercom stopped working while we were there. It was not an issue.

We stayed for a week in Nat’s Seapoint apartment and loved our stay. Nat was very communicative which made everything very easy and the apartment is a delight. We loved the location and enjoyed walking both to the V&A Waterfront and the other direction to Camps Bay from Seapoint - glorious sea walks in both directions. The flat had everything we needed and was so close to restaurants and local shops - would definitely stay again if back in Cape Town!

An absolutely marvelous stay at Stephanie’s apartment listing. Easy checking in process, & had great help from her assistant Calvin. He gave an amazing tour of the rental property, and made sure we were well taken care of!! From top to bottom everything was clean and organized. Every detail about the listing was spot on as well, beautiful panoramic views to see both the city and ocean. Location is perfect, you’re close to almost all activities and key points of interest. Highly recommendable 5 stars in my book!!

I spent three happy weeks at this beautiful Tamboerskloof apartment - by the time I left it was quite the wrench! In particular it's worth mentioning the completely charming neighbourhood and lovely street with the local Cape Town icon the Blue Café just a few minutes' walk away. The apartment itself is a stunner - that view feels like a gift every morning. That said, I loved the cool rear terrace overlooking Lion's Head which for me was just as wonderful. I sat out there in the mornings with my coffee and watched the neighbours pass by, beginning their day. The ideal spot to bed in and live like a local.

I really enjoyed staying at Michelle’s place. She was a wonderful host. The place is nice and fully equipped in secure and safe location. We couldn’t ask for a better place. Highly recommend it.

I never go to the same Airbnb as I want to try out a new place each time but goodness me, this place? I will return to it over and over again. The deco, the space, the view, the comfort, the safety, the list is endless! A real home away from home. So serene and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and take in all the beauty of Cape Town without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The apartment is beautiful and well located. Less than 10 minutes to walk to the sea point beach/promenade. So so safe! Would 1000% stay there again! Thank you Carrie for being such a wonderful host and being so friendly to our little one x

This beautiful home, this slice of paradise, in the middle of a woodland-based suburban area where safety is something that is next to godliness. Staying at Taryn's little cozy house was an incredible experience for my wife and I. The fireplace, the crockery, the appliances, the massive bathtub, the feeling of home, the color-coordinated book nook, I could go on forever. This will definitely be an area that we will visit again, and this accommodation is by far the best that we've stayed in throughout the world for its elegance, for its class, for its personal touch, and for its modern simplicity. We cannot stress to you enough that our experience at this beautiful gem located in Cape Town in the gardens was something that we will never forget. Cozy blankets, warm fires, delicious food, and great company. The things that make a home.

We loved staying at this place. Lots of space, the darts and pool table were great extras. Communication was wonderful, quick to respond or give lots of activity ideas.

Camp’s Bay getaway like no other! Great team running the show, super responsive and great communication. The place is out of a dream. Phenomenal location and feng shui. Highly recommend for a medium size group or family to feel safe at night. Recommend going in the South African summer for all the Americans though.

This villa made our trip more enjoyable, everything was wonderful, the owner Mr wim was very helpful and also the maid Ms Julie was wonderful in everything. I highly recommend this villa for anyone. I can’t wait to stay there again.

This gets my highest recommendation, and no I’m not connected to the owner in any way. The entire experience beat all expectations. Owners very kind and helpful. The ViEW is incredible. So comfortable for my wife and 4 adult children.

We’ve just spent 4 weeks (4 adults 1 child and a baby) at the villa and it was the most amazing stay! The villa is in a perfect location and had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Matthew the house manager was just the best! So helpful and kept the villa spotless throughout our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Great location and luxurious home.

Bridget is an amazing host. She greeted us in person for checkin and explaining how things work around the property. We found her very kind and responsive to our queries. And she went above and beyond on checking in with us on our travels and giving us flexibility for our checkout. The area is very safe and the villa itself is attached with all modern amenities and security system. Will recommend!
