Lovely hosts, who were also responsive when we needed help. Nice touches at the well-equipped property, and it’s very private too. We throughly enjoyed the garden (ripe strawberries every day!). The picturesque riverside deck at the back was a delight for swimming (depths to 2 metres) and for fishing (various species!) Our big dog loved the large, enclosed space. Description is accurate. This is a top choice if you are keen to explore Brive and this area.

This stone accommodation is very pleasant, especially in the hot weather, and its layout is well suited for a stay for two. Comfortable bed and sufficient dishes. Peaceful place in the vegetation, ideal for visiting Padirac and Roquamadour less than 28 km away. Véronique is a welcoming and communicative hostess while being discreet. We would recommend it without hesitation.

A perfectly renovated cottage, very tastefully furnished, everything you need available, great garden and everything in complete peace and seclusion. Modern heating systems, impressively ecological, we were delighted with the house and hostess.

An exceptional stay: a beautiful house, very friendly hosts and a very beautiful garden! We enjoyed spending time on the terrace as the calm and view are soothing! Our 2 small dogs also enjoyed the fenced outside. Lots of nice villages to visit in the area and walks to do. Thank you to Nathalie and Bernard for their welcome and kindness!

What a fantastic place and a great house! Philippe and Céline are very nice, sweet and pleasant to deal with. We have not often visited such a great airbnb cottage, everything was equally beautiful, clean, complete and with an eye for detail. The swimming pool is of course the icing on the cake, wonderful. Meyssac is a very nice village, nice market, nice terraces, nice people. The surroundings are beautiful, after every road there is another hill where you have the most beautiful views, it does not stop! Beautiful villages, castles and not to forget, the walnut oil! Blissful! In short...we are in love with Corrèze, Meyssac and this wonderful house.

Wonderful super atypical place. Renovated with care and decorated with taste. The bedding is perfect with the two queen beds. We plan to come back this summer to discover more of the surroundings.

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

Wow! What a wonderful experience. I will never be able to stay anywhere else in France. Philip’s villa is a castle in paradise. With pastoral views in every direction, this villa drinks you in like an old friend. The pool is magnificent, as are all the rooms in this lovely home. Bedrooms were air-conditioned with comfy beds and linens. The kitchen was perfect for lots of cooking, the indoor balcony was ideal for meals with gorgeous views, and the living room was great for relaxing in front of the smart TV. Philip was the perfect host .. extremely communicative and helpful. It was a special treat to meet him personally when he stopped by one day to say hello. We also enjoyed getting to know Philip’s father, who happened to be staying close by. Edgar, the villa’s regular caretaker, is one in a million, and made our stay even better. The town of Objat became a regular stop, especially on Sundays at the open-air market. Magnifique!!!!

Claude and Marie-Christine's place is a real little haven of peace, very welcoming and responsive hosts. the little outdoor space is very nice and relaxing! Everything is done to feel at home there! nothing is missing! the environment is beautiful and absolutely quiet! it's an address that I keep precious!!

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

No complaints. Nathalie is very kind and very responsive. The house is ideal for resting. Located in a quiet area and close to Périgueux and many tourist sites. The sheltered and heated pool on a large terrace is really the highlight of the house. I would highly recommend it.

beautiful peaceful place accompanied by the croaking of frogs and the jumps of carp...a treat...the spa with an overwhelming heat a real delight... on the other hand disappointed not to be able to lock the door, the sofa really not comfortable even if we spent our time outside the cottage, the duvet with a lot of stains...without these small downsides, the stay was idyllic, the region is waiting to be discovered!!! very discreet and welcoming owners

Stunning! Yes the house is amazing and the space is well furnished and the material noble (wood and stone)… but for us it was the stunning views of the entire valleys and the bright stars in the jacuzzi at night which made this place unforgettable.

We stayed for a month enjoyed a very relaxing time. Marie Christine could not have been more helpful. The village is beautiful and busy during the day but very quiet at night with limited restaurants open. But it is open with all the restaurants at lunch time. The Bar in the centre of the village was very friendly and we would recommend the hotel in the village for food! The walks were sublime - if you love walking you will love it here. Marie Christine was super helpful and hospitable - even when we accidentally broke her fridge - a truly lovely lady. If you like quirky you will love it here.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

An amazing stay! We loved the area, the cottage, and the hosts.

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. We had a great family holiday. They wanted to be peaceful, with their feet in the grass between nearby walks and small villages to visit. We found the place literally spotless! There's nothing missing! MHelene is very attentive. We were able to look for the 2x chicken eggs with our 2-year-old son. Dogs were welcome too. We will come back!!! Thanks again!

We stayed at Anne-Sophie's apartment for a long weekend and had a wonderful experience. The place was spotless and beautifully maintained. She had thoughtfully provided plenty of information about the town, as well as a lovely welcome gift of homemade apple juice and fig jam, whch was a really nice touch. Anne-Sophie was very helfpul and always quck to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying here!

Eric and Dianne are very welcoming hosts. Their cottage is very nice, with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast is excellent, hearty and made with local products. The garden, the view and the pool make this cottage an ideal place to relax, in peace. We recommend without hesitation and hope to be able to come back next time
