Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in the countryside, this is the place to be! The view is magnificent, the sunset a dream. The treehouse is comfortably furnished, in the kitchen there are the most important utensils so you can cook well at home. In the vicinity there are countless small tranquil villages, which are among the most beautiful places in France. In the preseason, some activities, such as canoeing, are usually not yet open, which did not bother us as we mainly focused on hiking and resting. Anne is a wonderful hostess - she was quickly available for questions and stopped by if necessary. Gladly again :-)

We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

Perfect accommodation for a stay. Close to shops and roads, the house is close to nature. Sébastien is a welcoming host who easily puts you at ease, and responds to our needs. The house is well arranged, clean and matches the photo. The proximity of a hiking trail at the bottom of the steps of the house is ideal for walks with a pet. We will go back without hesitation.

very welcoming hosts, Hope was delighted with her neighbor. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us, but the person is not responsible. We loved Collonges la Rouge, Sarlat, and the little train in Martel.

Very nice quiet house with two large bedrooms. There were a few basic products missing in the kitchen (oil, salt, sugar, etc.). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardening), with the possibility of tractors being present.

What a delight to arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a well-kept, tree-lined park with a large shared swimming pool. An exceptional welcome from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very gentle and generous, and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. It's a pleasure to open the windows in the morning, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It is a haven of peace with a beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

Frankly, I've rarely had a rental of this quality on Airbnb. My friends and I from Beziers felt at home with the hosts for 4 days. The house is spacious, very well decorated and very functional. A crazy terrace overlooking the pool and a huge garden. In short, a golden opportunity to keep between us for more availability on future reservations. Nothing to say about the place, it was perfect. Cécile and Sean had great tips. There are plenty of places to visit near the accommodation, gastronomic discoveries and pretty villages. A very nice place.

A haven of peace in a beautiful green environment, quiet, with a magnificent view and the company of animals (Jack the llama, the donkeys Lulu, Stella and Bella and two cats). Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. Very beautiful typical house of the Périgord region and very pleasant. Close to all tourist places and central for all visits. We were able to enjoy the pool despite the weather not being too good.

Large property, quiet, clean, with a beautiful outdoor pool. The house is spacious enough for 8 people. Big plus: the house is very well equipped (coffee, sugar, breakfast, tea towel, toilet paper...). For a short stay like ours, it was a nice surprise to find all these amenities on site.
