In the heart of Périgord, 30 minutes from Bergerac airport, 1 hour from Bordeaux, close to tourist sites, in an estate of 10 ha sit the Château de Monciaux (18th century) and its 4 cottages. On one level, our 70m² cottage offers the charm of a Perigord house with all the comforts needed for an ideal holiday (swimming pool, tennis, etc.) In a bucolic setting our cottage ideally accommodates 2 people but can accommodate a small family thanks to a sofa bed.

Chateau between Sarlat and Rocamadour

I have owned my medieval castle for fifty years. I rent out half of it in the summer, with exclusive use of the pool and grounds. I live, with cat, in the other half (tower side), with a separate entrance. We are unobtrusive, but I am happy to be available for any questions.

This authentic accommodation has a history that dates back to the 13th century when the family who lived in the castle of Chabroulie, located 200 meters away, is expanded and decided to build this fortified house, modernized afterwards to make it a comfortable residence.
