My daughter and I loved Bonna’s place ! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were completely surrounded by nature. The location was perfect, my daughter was riding at the Huntington Horse Farm, it was a quick drive from the yurt. Bonna was very quick to answer all of my questions. and was super flexible with check in and departure. We were lucky to meet her on our last night, it was wonderful to talk about how her space came to be what it is today. The yurt was a perfect little get away for us. We cannot wait to go back next time we are in the area. I loved exploring this part of Vermont, Bonna’s property is a magical place.

Beautiful spot to relax, reconnect and leave refreshed! We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the sauna, living pool, and hike to the yurt! We would love to return, thank you for sharing such a peaceful place with us, it was exactly what we needed.

It’s very well maintained and private. Everything was as in the pictures and it was a breeze to take care of.

We had an absolutely magical time at the yurt. It was cozy and homey, very quiet and secluded. We used both the composting toilet and the outdoor shower and enjoyed using both. Neither my husband or I are super outdoorsy, so it was really nice to spend time outside in the woods and then be able to retreat into the yurt — the perfect speed of glamping for us. Thank you, Sharon, for the lovely week!!

Such a wonderful place to stay! the decorations were so funky and cool it makes the place so homey! the inside swing was the perfect place to have a tea and just relax with the sounds of water running and the trickle of rain on the yurt. it was just two of us, but you could comfortably fit more and have a cozy hangout in. Kelly also had a list of great recommendations locally and everything you could have needed to make the stay just perfect!

We had such a lovely stay at the Yurt! Our kids loved the outside space and the games in the yurt. It was cozy and more spacious than the pictures show. It was a great experience, so peaceful, a beautiful mountain setting and we loved seeing the fireflies in the evenings. We all slept so well. Truly a relaxing vacation!

This was a return visit for us, a first in our AirBnb experience. April’s Yurt So Good is a truly unique and magical stay, from the location to the amenities to the immaculate condition - it’s was so good the first time, we couldn’t resist coming back again this year… we will certainly Lu be back again. The location is unbeatable, not only is it totally private, but it’s only 20 minutes from Jay Peak. From the fireplace to the hot tub, it has everything we look for in a weekend getaway.

Very cozy. It is a charming and unique place to stay. I enjoyed how they designed the whole place and the comfy touches it has. It is a lovely place to stay in the woods and have some peace and quiet. Near enough to town to be convenient but far enough away that it feels secluded. Hosts were very helpful and responsive, have basically everything you could need in the yurt to make a nice get away.

perfect weekend getaway great place

We loved our stay at the tiny home! It was cozy and had the tiny-home feel while still being big enough for my friends and I. The kitchen had nice cookware and everything we needed to make food at home. The yard, along with the brook, was beautiful and peaceful. It rained most of our stay so we spent a lot of time by the firepit under the porch. Overall, it was a great stay and Kris was quick to respond to any questions I had!

This was a beautiful rustic place for our family to gather for the eclipse. All of the amenities we needed (dishes, space, yoga mats, trails) and nothing we didn't (private flush toilets for bedrooms). We really appreciated the uniqueness of this spot and created some really wonderful memories. The costs with pets and extra people were a bit difficult to understand, but the hosts were very responsive and we worked out all of the issues there. Overall, it was a fabulous stay!

We have stayed in many Airbnb’s; some of which were in Vermont. This magical yurt in Derby is just about my favorite Airbnb stay. This last trip was our second time here, and now it is the only one we will be getting in Vermont. My husband, our 3 dogs and I love to go on little getaways but we have not always had the best stay or accommodations. Cheryl and Erin have really created the perfect getaway for us to unwind and have a little mental health break. We have everything we need and more and and I am absolutely obsessed with the layout and decor of this yurt. We love Cheryl, she makes amazing soap that we stock up on when we come; and the animals are amazing. We love that we get visits from the dogs and horses and really just love the property. We love to go out to the frog pond at night and find all of the tadpoles, frogs and salamanders to the wee hours. The icing on the cake is our trips on Saturday to get Amish donuts! We can’t wait for our next stay!

Ron was a great host and the place was even better than I expected from the photos. The homey yurt was cozy, clean and had everything needed. The sound of the Jay Branch River flowing by made for a very peaceful experience. I look forward to staying there on my future visits to the beautiful NEK.

We loved our stay in the yurt and were sad to leave! Kitchen was stocked well for your cooking needs. Place was clean and directions were clear. It was rainy and chilly during our stay, and the wood stove kept us cozy and warm. Great selection of records, books and games. I would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to be back - it’s a truly special spot!

Take Yurt Time was the perfect place for a true, calm, getaway. The space was pristine, yet homey. The yurt was warm, comfortable, and extremely private. Waking up to mountains and a hot tub was such a dream. We had no trouble finding the yurt, even though it was tucked away and secluded, given Jennah’s clear directions. Stay here! You’ll love it!

My boyfriend and I had a great time in the Yurt! We love to hike and be in nature, and this was the perfect spot surrounded by mountains and various trails. The pictures don’t show the amount of furniture and amenities in the yurt itself. There was a couch and bunk bed in addition to the main bed in the images. There were also many board games that kept us busy when it rained. The outhouse was the cleanest and least buggy outhouse I’ve ever used! The wood stove also kept the yurt plenty warm. When we stayed it only got down to low 40s, but it got warm very quick. The kitchen is about 15 feet away from the front door of the yurt and is stocked with cookware and utensils for some simple meals. Overall, I could not recommend this place more if you love the mountains and nature in general!
