Cottage holiday rentals in Vermont

We definitely have never stayed in a rental that was so CLEAN! Aside from the labels, it felt as if we were not staying at a rental property at all. When we go away, it’s nice to stay somewhere that’s close to as nice and comfortable as home. We were warm and cozy. The house had everything and way more than we needed and we would like to see how beautiful it would be in the Summertime. The house was spacious and we loved the history and charm that it possesses. The hot tub was a major draw and sparkling clean also. It snowed practically the entire visit and felt private with all the trees surrounding the property. A huge perk was the proximity to Okemo and Killington for the boarders in our group. With the looks of the Volleyball net and court, presumably the owners are fans of the game! Bravo, Alecia- we thank you for your hospitality!

Great house with plenty of space and beds. Living room had ample couches and great for our group to hang out there with the fireplace and hot tub off the back deck of kitchen. Kitchen had all necessary cooking pots/pans/utensils. Easy communication with the hosts and would return.

Perfect place for a ski weekend with a group of friends. House was exactly as described, check in was extremely simple, and all the amenities were in full working order and easy to use (special shout out to the hot tub which was amazing after a day out on the mountain). Location is less than 10 minutes from the Skyeship gondola, less than 20 from the main Killington base areas, and easy to find just off of the main road. Overall we had a great time and would 100% stay here again in the future.

Great place! Big rooms & very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. Great hiking spots in the area... Close to Woodstock/Rutland for summer and VERY close to Killington for Winter. There was an issue with the drive way due to all the rain the Northeast has been getting and Russ was proactive in letting us know. Thanks Russ for being a great host!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house for a weekend ski getaway. The house is located on a gorgeous lake just minutes from Okemo, making it a perfect stay for Skiing. The views of the lake are spectacular with direct lake front access. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the hot tub after skiing as well as sitting in the living room by the gas fire place. This is by far one of the nicest AirBnBs that we have booked near Okemo and we look forward to staying at the house again in the summer and winter.

Staying at Andas Hus was an Airbnb experience on another level. This little cottage has everything that you could ever need for an extended getaway- we did so much cooking, wandering, made full use of all of the tech, and enjoyed the hot tub for several nights. We had four adults sharing the cabin and it was more than enough room for us. Matt was super responsive and kind when we had questions about the stay. I'll absolutely be recommending Andas Hus to any of my friends and relatives looking for a New England getaway, and maybe we'll be back someday!

We had such a great family stay at The Cozy Cottage. You can tell that the home was very well built and it was extremely comfortable for our family with kids. The wood stove is awesome and heats up the whole house with plentiful wood in the basement and instructions to use the stove. The house was very clean and well appointed. We spent 2 nights there while we skied Sugarbush and the location was great for us. I would definitely recommend this home and look forward to returning next year!

Second time staying with Angela and it was just as great as we remembered. We love the peaceful location in Pawlet - far enough away to disconnect from city life while still being a close enough drive (15-30 min) to great local restaurants in Dorset and Manchester. The space itself is cozy and rustic, keeping its historic charm in tact, while having thoughtful updates to the kitchen and bath that make it functional for everyday use. The shower is incredible and the bed is so comfy, one we actually looked forward to sleeping in again! Angela was a great host and provided us with local coffee, crackers, and their newest Pawlet cheese for enjoying. Already looking forward to visiting again next summer!

Dear Sandra, The cottage was great. It is less than 5 miles from our family in Reading. We came to visit our daughter and her family, our only 3 grandchildren. Everything we needed was available. Every morning I had my coffee while enjoying the beautiful view. My husband has mobility problems, and he was able to get around fine. Shattuck Hill will be our only place to stay when we visit. This place was wonderful! It had positively everything we needed :) it was cozy and the covered porch was a true gift on our rainy weekend getaway. I highly recommend!

Kim provided the extra touches, such as a phone charger, dice, comfy blankets on the couch, and a book full of recommendations for eating and activities. Her home is spotless and beautiful. The whole atmosphere was relaxing. The house is only five minutes from Manchester, Vermont. It was very convenient for shopping and dining. We will be back.

Tonya’s place was clean and comfortable. It was quiet during the day and night, with the bonus of the gentle waves crashing just outside. We were lucky to find this place for a quick visit to St. Albans with easy access to Burlington. Communication with Tonya was prompt and friendly, and instructions for the home were straightforward. A good experience all around!

We loved staying at Greg & Karen's place! It is a lovely, recently built carriage house that is very homey and clean. Comfortable bed, good shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location beautiful and somewhat remote, but also not too far from Burlington. The carriage house has a window that looks right into where there are horse stalls for their three horses! Unfortunately, rainy weather prevented us from walking the beautiful grounds and visiting the horses up close. Greg and Karen were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend a stay at Valley View Farm.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anne's cottage. Absolutely pristine! It is exactly as pictured. We felt like we were the first guests ever hosted there. Everything is brand new. Spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, absolutely amazing views of the lake, a quiet road, warm and friendly hosts. Bed was very comfortable and felt brand new. It was the most nicely outfitted and special AirBnB we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at many! Anne was super responsive and helpful, proactively gave us flexible check-in and out, and had great dining recommendations. A basket of snacks on arrival was very appreciated throughout our stay as we didn't bring alot of food. Grand Isle is such a unique place with beautiful landscapes, lake views, peaceful surroundings. We couldn't have asked for more and can't wait to come back!

This house on Sterling Brook was amazing! All of the windows and deck overlooking the brook were wonderful for the stunning view. This is one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed in and would love to go back. Our only complaint is that we didn’t book it for long enough!

It was a charming, lowkey, rustic stay with lots of peace, quiet, privacy, & beautiful woodsy scenery. The house felt like a home- personal, cozy, well-loved, & lived-in. We smiled to read all the guest book notes from other happy couples who also booked romantic getaways!

I stayed here for my spouse and I's anniversary and we now feel it's the best weekend we've ever spent together. The view is incredible. The space is efficiently used, which makes the loft overlooking the living room a really fun area. This would be perfect for a private stay with kids if one is in the area for anything happening in Stowe/Waterbury and would love to skip the crowd. The wifi is great so it's very easy to feel both isolated and at peace while also reliably connected. The creek outside is a phenomenal way to fall asleep, and the house is well sealed from the sound if one prefers otherwise. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook food we brought. The woodstove was the perfect cherry on top of an already great vibe. I would definitely stay here again!

Morgan is the perfect host, providing everything necessary to a magical stay in their remarkable cabin. I had complete privacy and quiet, but knew she was readily available if I had any questions or needs. The cabin itself is a wonder of architecture, with every detail carefully thought out and rendered. There are books galore and CDs, the slipper foot bathtub is amazing, and the back patio offers a peaceful view of trees and meadow. The property is dotted with wonderful sculptures by her husband, Alan. I watched the sun rise and set and walked down the very dark night road to look at the stars. The woods are my favorite place to be, and there was no shortage of local hiking trails. The general store just down the street is staffed by very friendly folks, and I bought a new favorite coffee mug made by a local artisan. In short, my stay was everything I hoped it would be, and I would highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Mill House on a grand highlights tour of New England, and Emily and Trevor’s place was by far our favorite accommodations. Our days were busy, and it was perfect to come back and relax by the creek. The home was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We would return again and again if we didn’t live so far away.

Warm, inviting cabin with gorgeous 360 degree views, giving the feeling of living with nature rather than apart from it. It is obvious that a great deal of care and love went into this place... many small, artistic details that create a magical vibe. We were cozy and comfortable during a snowstorm and quite content to stay home and soak up the peace and beauty. Kitchen was great for meal prep and the coffee and breakfast cake were appreciated after our long journey. The sauna was delightful, restorative and well equipped; we enjoyed it tremendously! Next time we would pack robes for walking back upstairs after sauna-time (we didn't realize that the sauna area was accessed from the outdoors rather than inside the cabin). We had plenty of privacy for our winter retreat, which we value. We didn't want to leave this special place, and are already plotting our return. Many thanks Sandy and Jim!

Stan and Jane’s place is the perfect getaway spot for your loved ones. It offers spectacular view of the lake while feeling isolated. The house is always clean and ready for your stay. Couldn’t recommend any higher!
