We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Ivana. La maison est très charmante, d'une propreté impeccable dans un cadre splendide, offrant une vue absolument magnifique ! Si vous cherchez le dépaysement, le calme et une nature verdoyante, vous êtes au bon endroit! Ivana est une hôte très attentionnée, généreuse et sympathique qui a rendu notre séjour mémorable. Die Wohnung ist sehr traditionell in einem alten Steinhaus, im wunderschönen Verzasca Tal gelegen. Der Ort ist der ideale Standpunkt, um das Tal mit der schönen Natur, aber auch Locarno und Ascona zu erkunden. Bitte beachten: der Ort ist an einem Stausee, dort kann man nicht schwimmen! Auch gibt es im Tal keine Supermärkte, Bäcker etc, Einkäufe am besten vorher erledigen. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr sauber, die Küche voll ausgestattet, die Lage sehr ruhig. Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern da und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. (Es gibt steile Treppen im Haus, für sehr kleine Kinder nicht geeignet). Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

Das Haus hat eine fantastische Lage zwischen den Weinbergen von Brissago. Die Architektur, das Interieur und die Räume sind sehr schön und haben uns sehr gut gefallen - wir lieben puristisches Design. Viele Details im Haus und darum machen das Haus zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wenn man abends auf der Terrasse sitzt , grillt, die grillen Zirpen und man bei einem Glas Wein auf den See blickt - dann ist diese Stimmung etwas Uniques- welches man nicht kaufen kann. Eva - die Hausfee - ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Mille Grazie für den schönen Aufenthalt im Casa Largo. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Luisella and Fermo were PERFECT hosts! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guilia House. The house is so charming - it felt like such a privilege to stay there and experience the history and beauty of the home and village of Fiumelatte. We especially loved the garden area that Luisella is cultivating - the views in the evening are spectacular! The walk to Varenna is an easy one with amazing views of the lake, mountains, and villages along the shore. This rental is not for everyone, however. Folks with mobility issues or toddlers should be aware that the rooms are all on different floors and connected by a cement staircase in the center of the home. If this is not a concern, then you will be treated to an authentic 'old world' Italian experience. We adored Luisella and Fermo - what a kind and generous couple! We are SO grateful for their hospitality. They welcomed us as if we were family and we will cherish them as if they are ours.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Michaela war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns auch schon etwas für das Frühstück gerichtet so das wir nicht gleich einkaufen mussten. Auch mit den Kindern war sie super freundlich. Einzig die schönen Türen aus Glas scheppern beim öffnen, da hätten wir uns mehr Stopper gewünscht und in der Küche wären mehr Gewürze (Pfeffer, Paprika, italienische Kräuter) wünschenswert.

Der Gastgeber Andrea war wirklich sehr nett und immer hilfbereit. Er hat schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Kann es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Mit dem Bus / Shuttle Bus konnte ist Varenna sehr gut erreichbar. Es war wie auf den Fotos beschrieben :)

Supergoede ervaring gehad! Brandschoon appartement met fantastisch uitzicht, heerlijk ontbijt, goede instructies en heerlijk bad met mooie uitkijk. Super klantbeleving en de host doet net dat stapje extra om je thuis te laten voelen en je in de watten te leggen. Als we een minpuntje moeten noemen was het de kwaliteit van het bestelde eten, dit was wat minder qua kwaliteit. Ga zo door!

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Antonio and Christian were amazing hosts during our recent stay in Lake Como. Always responsive to messages and the apartment was perfect for a family of 6. Spotless and had everything you need to cook (Antonio even set up the BBQ for us one night!). It felt like a private pool with all the different areas to lie and enjoy the breathtaking views. Apartment is close walking distance into Gravedona for some nice meals out and bars too. They even let some of us check in early and left a bottle of Prosecco as we were celebrating a big birthday, lovely touches. Couldn’t recommend them more and will definitely be back if we get the chance.

Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Leider waren wir nur einen Tag da, es hat sich dennoch gelohnt! Die Lage ist sehr gut in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und des Sees und von der großartigen Terrasse sieht man den Lago Maggiore während man im Whirlpool entspannt. Ideal um sich zu erholen!

Elena was amazing. She was very flexible and responsive regarding our arrival and very friendly as well. The BnB has very accessible private parking, and was right on the water with a beautiful view. The location was next to a train station as well if you wanted to visit the other towns in Como!

The apartment features a beautiful and simple design with stunning views of the mountains and passing trains — truly a highlight of our stay. It’s well-equipped with most of the essentials, making our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We did encounter a couple of minor issues: the Swiss-type sockets were a bit inconvenient, and while the host kindly explained the situation, no adapter was provided. Additionally, the large garbage container outside was locked, which made waste disposal a bit difficult. Despite these small drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful setting and thoughtful touches throughout the apartment.

From the moment we booked to the moment we finished our holiday Angela and Rodolfo were the warmest and kindest hosts. From offering to pick us up from the station and then drop us off at the end of the week, to the thoughtful gifts to welcome us to their beautiful apartment. The apartment was exactly as described and as the photos show. Everything we needed for a weeks break and spotlessly clean. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and made even more stunning by the gorgeous weather we were blessed with all week. We decided not to hire a car choosing instead to walk into Bellano each day and used the boats to ferry us across to a few of the other towns around Lake Como. This was a great way to see and experience Bellano and surrounding area but it was quite hilly though so a car, moped or bike would be recommended if you aren’t up for a 30 minute walk each way and a little bit of hill/stair climbing. Perfect Hosts ! Perfect Accommodation and Views! Perfect Holiday !

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung und den wunderschönen Garten sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet – es ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen und für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Der große Garten ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet und bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht auf den Comer See. Es gibt sogar einen Grillplatz, an dem man mit Blick auf den See wunderbar grillen kann. Von der gesamten Anlage sowie aus den Fenstern hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf das Wasser. Das Zentrum von Gravedona mit seinen charmanten Cafés und guten Restaurants ist in etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. In nur 5–10 Minuten mit dem Auto gibt es mehrere große Supermärkte mit einer sehr guten Auswahl an Lebensmitteln. Grazia hat immer sehr schnell und freundlich geantwortet – eine liebe, hilfsbereite und herzliche Gastgeberin! Beim nächsten Besuch am Comer See kommen wir ganz sicher wieder – wir haben uns in diesen Ort, den Garten und den Ausblick verliebt. Klare Empfehlung!

Nicola, der Sohn der Eigentümerin war sehr nett. Er hat uns bei Fragen immer weiter geholfen. Wir haben zwei Punkte, die für uns nicht ganz super waren, dass ist zum einen die Lage. Die Sträßchen hoch nach Segna sind für ein großes Auto wirklich schwer zu meistern und zweitens war an den ersten beiden Tagen der Kamin kaputt. Das war schon echt kalt Ende September ohne andere Wärmequelle, aber den hat Nicola dann schnell repariert. Sonst wirklich alles top!

We had such a lovely time at this place. It is so beautiful and the view just breath-taking!! The area was calm, quiet and idyllic - perfect to relax and to recharge your batteries 😊 The house and rooms appeared even bigger than on the pictures and everything you need is there. Ideally with families and kids, as you are quite flexibel with the kitchen or the washing machine. Mattia was always available and proactive. The collection of infos and recommendations was super helpful. All in all, we had the perfect stay - looking forward to come again!!
